Engineering NPCs
From Star Trek: Theurgy Wiki
The following is a list of named non-player characters who served in the Engineering Department during the battles against a corrupt and compromised Starfleet.
Active
Ensign zh’Ron
Ensign Ensign zh'Ron was a female Andorian who served as a dilithium officer aboard the USS Theurgy in March of 2381. She encountered Lieutenant Commander Blue Tiran’s mechanical owl named "Albert" three days after the Theurgy arrived in the Epsilon Mynos System. Despite Albert's offer of assistance, zh’Ron declined.
Cadet Zhong Wu
Cadet Zhong Wu was an engineering assistant spending his cadet cruise at Black Opal Station. He reported to Ensign T’sebl Felr during his time on the station. When the crew of the by Theurgy took over the station he was easily overpowered and subdued. After an attack by the Romulans made it necessary to scuttle the station, Wu was taken aboard the Theurgy where he was briefed on the true state of affairs at Starfleet Command and encouraged to join the Theurgy’s engineering department.
During the mission to Starbase 84, Cadet Wu was assigned to the USS Allegiant. He was injured during the battle, but survived to continue serving on the USS Theurgy.
Chief Petty Officer Jeff Kowalski
Chief Petty Officer Jeff Kowalski was a transporter chief aboard the USS Theurgy in 2381.
He was assigned to Transporter Room Nine during the supply raid on Black Opal Station. While the rest of the transporter operators informed Master Chief Petty Officer O’Connell of their readiness, Kowalski was still performing diagnostics.
He was working Transporter Room Two during the mission to Starbase 84, and tasked with transporting William O’Connell, Chief Warrant Officer Gimli Luff, Senior Chief Petty Officer Verguy Cam, Chief Petty Officer Amlas Keyah, Chief Petty Officer Lavar Manfredi, Petty Officer First Class Matthew Johnson, and Petty Officer First Class Jean Paul Rivard to the reactor room of the station. He rescued Chief Petty Officer Liam Herrold and civilian contractor F'Rell during the evacuation of the fatally damaged USS Resolve, but was unable to lock onto Captain Tristan Kendrick, due to the captain's proximity to the Resolve’s warp core. He was visibly disconcerted with F'Rell's appearance, having never seen a T'fanrell before.
He was on duty when the cult that worshipped Sarresh Morali that called themselves the Devoted attempted to take over the Theurgy with a series of terrorist acts the day after the raid on Starbase 84. He couldn’t get a lock on Lieutenant Junior Grade Suq-Reylin-Efreya Xan when the Efrosian was trapped under a damaged plasma conduit and it required the direct intervention of the ship’s artificial intelligence to save him.
He was working in Transporter Room Three when the vector 02 stardrive section of the Theurgy known as the "The Sword" encountered the IKC Rotarran and reunited with the USS Allegiant. He was ordered by Ensign Colin MacArthur to beam Doctor Maya out of the Temporary Holding Cell but Doctor Dr. Lucan cin Nicander’s proximity to her pattern delayed him. (V02)
Chief Petty Officer Curt Lucas
Chief Petty Officer Curt Lucas was a was an engineer serving aboard the USS Harbinger in early 2381. Before the Harbinger was destroyed in a collision with the USS Calamity, Lucas and a number of other survivors managed to flee in an escape pod to Planet KE 286583 S, also known as Varcae. While being marooned for two nightmarish days four of his fellow castaways were killed by the native flora and fauna, including the ranking officer, Lieutenant Jacqueline Cody leaving him in command of the other two remaining survivors, Crewman Amy Jenson and Crewman Loclan Tsan. They were rescued by Natalie Stark, ThanIda zh'Wann, Aisha S'Iti, and Doctor Maya who had taken the USS Allegiant on a Search And Rescue mission to recover the Harbinger’s survivors. After being rescued he joined the USS Theurgy’s Engineering department.
Lucas was on duty as a transporter chief in the Theurgy’s Transporter Room Five when the cult calling themselves the Devoted attempted to take control of the dreadnought. On Master Chief O’Connell’s orders, he transported Petty Officer Sirch Karmak directly the to brig.
During the Theurgy’s first encounter with the Savi, Chief Petty Officer Lucas was posted in the Theurgy’s Vector 02 Engineering section overseeing the Vector 02 warp core.
So far it is unknown if Chief Petty Officer Curt Lucas has any relation to Lieutenant Commander Taylor Lucas, who was critically injured and placed into cryostasis before Curt Lucas came onboard. (V02)
Chief Petty Officer Lavar Manfredi
Chief Petty Officer Lavar Manfredi was a male human with the position of propulsion chief aboard the USS Theurgy when it was a fugitive from Starfleet. CPO Manfredi was born in New Orleans, a city on Earth’s North American continent in the mid 24th century. After the Dominion War, Manfredi served at Starbase 84 in the Main Reactor Room before being assigned to the USS Theurgy.
During the plasma relay failure caused by Crewman Dom Fok, he was present although his actions during this crisis were not recorded. He was at his station in main engineering during the Theurgy’s final engagement with the Calamity and reported the damage to shields four and five and loss of power on the warp power conduits. After the battle he informed Master Chief William Robert "Billy Bob" O'Connell of Crewman Fok’s location after the battle was over. Two days later, Chief Manfredi instructed Petty Officer Zil Arex to replace the plasma relays after the punishment they had taken from Fok’s sabotage, even the ones that hadn’t been damaged.
Manfredi was also present in main engineering the day after when Rihen Neyah was evaluated by O’Connell and awarded the provisional rank of warrant officer, walking in on their meeting at one point when O’Connell attempted to comfort her. He was trusted with running main engineering during the weapon storage raid on Starfleet’s Black Opal facility the next day and to all accounts kept main engineering running even when a Romulan Warbird appeared unexpectedly.
During the mission to Starbase 84, he beamed over to the space station as part of Thea’s and William O’Connell’s support team, assigned to take over the reactor room and override the base’s systems. His knowledge of the station's Jeffries tubes allowed him to guide the team into the reactor room past the security specialist who had been assigned to watch the corridor outside it. Shortly after entering Starbase 84's main reactor room, he was stunned while attempting to keep his shipmate Matthew Johnson from getting hit by a phaser beam. While injured, he survived the battle to continue serving on the USS Theurgy.
Chief Manfredi was back on duty the day after the mission, and was present in the Theurgy’s the warp reactor room on Deck 25 when the cult known as the Devoted attempted to take over the ship. He was in main engineering during the Theurgy’s first encounter with the Savi, and was beamed to the auxiliary warp core in Vector 01 when Captain Jien Ives activated the Continuance Protocol. (V01). Joined Lt. Cross and his away team to the Azurite Station for investigation on potential mutations of the Niga virus being made there by the Infested soon after the events on Qo'Nos and Praxis in 2381.

Petty Officer Zil Arex
Petty Officer Zil Arex was a male Bolian who served in the Theurgy’s Engineering department during the Theurgy’s battles with Starfleet. Zil Arex grew up in the town of Xilmophia on Bolarus IX. He was present in main engineering during the Theurgy’s final battle with the Calamity and assisted Master Chief O’Connell with repairs to plasma relay five. After the battle he could not locate Crewman Fok. Two days after the battle, he was subject to a tongue lashing from Master Chief O’Connell for taking apart a plasma relay that didn’t need repairs but was saved by the timely arrival of Thea. The next day, he walked in on O’Connell and Rihen Neyah in the chief engineer’s office after the master chief had accidentally dropped her rank pin into her cleavage. One day later, Petty Officer Arex was posted in the Theurgy’s Transporter Room Three during the weapons raid on Black Opal Station.
During the mission to Starbase 84, Arex was in Vector 03’s main engineering. The day after the mission he was present when the cult calling itself the Devoted made their bid to take over the ship. He was manning a console starboard the master systems display table when Ensign McGee made held the warp core hostage. Petty Officer Arex was in Main Engineering manning a console near the master systems display table during the Theurgy’s first encounter with the Savi and was presumably present when the Asurian boarding party attacked.
Four days later he accompanied Master Chief Petty Officer William Robert "Billy Bob" O'Connell when the later beamed over to the USS Cayuga to assist in repairs for the injured starship. There he and his shipmate Petty Officer Tenchi Koizumi were introduced to Chief Petty Officer Ekon Okotie-Eboh. During the battle with the Borg at the heart of the Azure Nebula, Petty officer Arex was on duty in the Theurgy’s Main Engineering on Deck 25. He was a known conversationalist and, as such, inadvertently delayed Counselor Hathev on Stardate 57651.96 as he related to her his perspective on who amung the crew would benefit most from her help. Not only did Hathev find the conversation uncomfortable, it also waylaid her causing her to be late for her meeting with Rhys Williams.
Remained with the Helmet during the alliance discussions.
Petty Officer Dylan Cobb
Petty Officer Dylan Cobb was a maintenance engineer aboard the Theurgy in 2381. Before leaving the position of Maintenance Chief, Master Chief William Robert "Billy Bob" O'Connell assigned Petty Officer Cobb the task of making sure that the furniture on the Theurgy’s bridges didn't come loose in combat. Apparently Petty Officer Cobb hadn't gotten around to the Vector 3 Battle Bridge before the mutiny and hijacking by from Harbinger’s officers and crew, for Commander T'Rena experienced no difficulty tearing a chair out of the floor and pushing it into Master Chief O'Connell when she attempted to wrest the Battle Bridge from the control of Lieutenant Commander Carrigan Trent.
During the mission to Starbase 84, Dylan Cobb was in Vector 02’s auxiliary engineering. The day after the mission - at 1400 hrs. - his true colours showed when it was revealed that he led the Devoted in their attempt to take over the ship. He was in command of the Tigris runabout, and used Crewman Fok as bait while he held the ship ransom in the sirillium gas clouds of the Azure Nebula. Through Fok, he demanded that Captain Jien Ives surrendered command to Sarresh Morali, but was almost fatally incapacitated when he misaligned the runabout's deflector shields and exposed himself to the deadly radiation of the Azure Nebula.
The next day after the Devoted’s failed attempt to take over the ship he was in the Theurgy’s Main Sickbay for treatment when he somehow managed to seize a phaser and kill several on duty medical personnel, including Counselor Hayden O'Connor and Nurse Maal. He almost fatally wounded Doctor Lucan cin Nicander before being brought down, and exposed the chief medical officer as one of the Starfleet officers infected by the Parasites. Petty Officer Cobb joined Lieutenant Amarik and the others on an infiltration mission at a Romulan research and development facility. (DEVOTED)
Petty Officer First Class Matthew Johnson
Petty Officer First Class Mathew Johnson was an enlisted engineer assigned to the USS Theurgy’s propulsion division.
Matt Johnson had experience aboard civilian starships before he enlisted in Starfleet after the Dominion took Betazed. He spent the war as a reactor technician at Lya Station Alpha before accepting a post at Deep Space 5 when the war ended. He transferred to the Theurgy because he wanted to be part of something bigger.
In March of 2381, Commander T'Rena of the USS Harbinger used her telepathic abilities to psychically compromise a number of officers and crew aboard the Theurgy, including Crew Dom Fok who caused a plasma overload in main engineering that cost the life of then acting chief engineer Tatiana Marlowe. Immediately after the sabotage, William O’Connell ordered Petty Officer Koizumi to get Johnson and Chief Manfredi to assist him in resetting plasma relays four and six.
During the mission to Starbase 84, Mathew Johnson beamed over to the space station as part of Thea’s and William O’Connell’s support team, assigned to take over the reactor room and override the base’s systems. Shortly after entering Starbase 84's main reactor room, he was stunned by a phaser fired from one of the reactor chiefs who had managed to get to a weapon before the boarding party could subdue them. He was, however, beamed out safely and continued to serve on the USS Theurgy. During the battle with the Borg at the heart of the Azure Nebula, Petty Officer Johnson was on duty in the Theurgy’s Main Engineering on Deck 25. He was chosen by O'Connell to assist him in repairing the Theurgy’s dorsal-starboard nacelle. Johnson was still serving aboard the Theurgy during their time at Qo'nos, assigned to the main shuttlebay.
Traveled on the Erudite to the Hobus star.
Petty Officer Tenchi Koizumi
Petty Officer Tenchi Koizumi was a male human in his early twenties who worked in the Theurgy’s Engineering department during the Theurgy’s battles Starfleet. He grew up in the city of Kyoto on the Isle of Japan off the east coast of Earth’s Asian continent. He was present in main engineering when the plasma relays failed and assisted Master Chief William O’Connell in powering down the plasma relays and venting the plasma from the EPS conduits. He reset relays four and six manually with Chief Manfredi and Engineer Johnson’s assistance. The next day, at the beginning of the USS Theurgy’s final battle with the USS Calamity he reported on the condition of the plasma relays from the upper gallery of main engineering on deck nine. During the weapons storage raid on Black Opal Station three days later, he manned Transporter Room Two beaming up Starfleet personnel and sending the wounded directly to Main Sickbay.
During the raid on Starbase 84 Petty Officer Koizumi was manning Transporter Room Three and mange to rescue Tessa Lance from her exploding fighter before beaming William O’Connell, Gimli Luff, Verguy Cam, Amlas Keyah, Lavar Manfredi, Matthew Johnson, Jean Paul Rivard, and Thea’s mobile emitter from the reactor room of the starbase.
The day after the mission he was present when the cult calling itself the Devoted made their bid to take over the ship. He was manning a console starboard the master systems display table when Ensign McGee made held the warp core hostage. Two days later, he was present in main engineering when the Theurgy first encountered the Savi. Four days later he accompanied Master Chief Petty Officer William Robert "Billy Bob" O'Connell when the later beamed over to the USS Cayuga to assist in repairs for the injured starship. There he and his shipmate Petty Officer Zil Arex were introduced to Chief Petty Officer Ekon Okotie-Eboh. During the battle with the Borg at the heart of the Azure Nebula, Petty officer Koizumi was on duty in the Theurgy’s Main Engineering on Deck 25. He was chosen by O'Connell to assist him in repairing the Theurgy’s dorsal-starboard nacelle.
Traveled with the Ranger across the RNZ.
Petty Officer Eetak Zol
Petty Officer First Class Eetak Zol was a Ktarian female from Ktaria VII who was assigned to the propulsion division of the Theurgy’s Engineering department during the Theurgy’s battles against a corrupt and compromised Starfleet. After Master Chief William Robert "Billy Bob" O'Connell was placed in charge of the Engineering department she was assigned to third watch because of O’Connell psychological need to avoid women. She discovered his discomfort when she asked to be reassigned to first watch two days after the Theurgy’s final battle with the Calamity. She walked in on O’Connell’s meeting with Rihen Neyah in the chief engineer’s office and fled when he shouted at her.
The day after the mission to Starbase 84 she was present in Main Engineering when the cult calling itself the Devoted made their bid to take over the ship. She was manning a console starboard the master systems display table when Ensign McGee made held the warp core hostage. Petty Officer Zol was in Main Engineering manning a console near the master systems display table during the Theurgy’s first encounter with the Savi and was presumably present when the Asurian boarding party attacked. During the battle with the Borg at the heart of the Azure Nebula, Petty Officer Zol was on duty in the Theurgy’s Main Engineering on Deck 25. She was chosen by O'Connell to assist him in repairing the Theurgy’s dorsal-starboard nacelle.
Traveled with the Ranger across the RNZ.
Petty Officer Third Class Patricia Hallquist
Petty Officer Third Class Patricia Hallquist was a propulsion technician aboard the USS Cayuga in March of 2381. Like her other shipmates in the engineering department, she answered to the Cayuga’s Chief Engineering Officer, Lieutenant Kaylon Jeen. She was present and on duty when the Cayuga was disabled by the Borg, and its subsequent encounter with the third stardrive Vector of the USS Theurgy and their confrontation with the Asurian and their boarding parties.
When the Asurian prisoners took over Security and escaped custody, two of them named Jisa and Ora-Sedra beamed to Cayuga’s Deck Seventeen and attacked Main Engineering. When Jisa was subdued with a phaser, Ora-Sedra seized Hallquist and took her hostage. Taking a calculated risk, Kaylon Jeen shut off a bypass to overload a power coupling to cause an explosion behind them. Ora-Sedra was critically injured, but Petty Officer Hallquist managed to escape with only bumps and bruises.
Traveled with the Ranger across the RNZ to rescue temporal agent.
Crewman Russell Rodriquez
Crewman Russell Rodriquez was an isoliniar technician who served aboard the USS Harbinger in when it fled Federation space and allied itself with the USS Theurgy in 2381. Before the Harbinger was destroyed in a collision with the USS Calamity, Rodriquez and a number of other survivors managed to flee in an escape pod to planet Aeron-2514. They were rescued by Natalie Stark, ThanIda zh'Wann, Aisha S'Iti, and Doctor Maya who had taken the USS Allegiant on a Search And Rescue mission to recover the Harbinger’s survivors. After his mental conditioning was dispelled and his proper loyalties were restored, Ensign Rodriquez was given temporary duties as a Medical orderly, helping Doctor Maya with Crewman Loclan Tsan who had inhaled toxic gas prior to being rescued from the planet Varcae. When Maya asked Rodriquez to fetch medication from her medkit, Crewman Rodriquez was forced to remind the green-blooded physician that he was an isoliniar technician, and not a trained nurse. Maya excused him and called for Petty Officer Third Class Edgar Rowland. After the USS Allegiant returned to the Theurgy, he served aboard the carrier under the supervision of acting chief engineer William Robert O'Connell.
In the battle with the Borg at the heart of the Azure Nebula, this crewman served aboard the USS Allegiant. Remained with the Helmet during the alliance talks between Martok and Donatra.
Crewman Rel
Crewman Rel was a Kaferian technician who served aboard the USS Theurgy in 2381, and was one of the individuals who assisted Petty Officer Sithick and Petty Officer Morgan Song in the construction of the harmonic resonance chamber used to destroy the omega molecules which had been uncovered in an artifact found on Tartaras V. Rel was a Kaferian worker who had gone rogue from her colony to join Starfleet, a decision very uncommon for most Kaferians. Having departed from the lush jungles of her homeworld of Tau Ceti III, she was soon assigned to the USS Resolve and was lost in the distant reaches of space. After the destruction of the Resolve, Rel was transferred to the USS Theurgy. (V1)
In the battle with the Borg at the heart of the Azure Nebula, Crewman Rel served aboard the USS Allegiant. Traveled with the Erudite to the Hobus Star.
Crewman First Class Tashanna Ford
Tashanna was a Human female assigned to the USS Theurgy’s Engineering Department as a shuttlecraft engineer. In an effort to properly crew the Apache during the rescue of Commander Fisher from his imprisonment by Klingons loyal to Gorka, Tashanna joined the flight crew, manning the Engineering console on the Apache’s bridge. She suffered no injuries. Traveled with the Erudite to the Hobus Star.
Petty Officer First Class Thomas Nigel-Timmons
Thomas was a Human male assigned to the USS Theurgy’s Engineering Department as a weapons technician. Rejoicing in the nickname Boom, Thomas took part in the project to upgrade USS Theurgy PDPC system after fighting ended around Qo'nos. Although a phaser specialist by training, he would spend his off time in the library buried in technical manuals for other systems, and could be assigned to small craft, warp fighter, and torpedo support when necessary.
Petty Officer Nigel-Timmons joined Captain Ives and the mission to Romulus to expose Praetor Tal'Aura for the Infested operative she was while also seeking to end the hostilities with the Romulans before further violent misunderstandings could occur, dragging the Theurgy and the Federation into another war.
Deceased
† Lieutenant Commander Solkar
Lieutenant Commander Solkar was a male Vulcan who was the USS Theurgy’s first Chief Engineering Officer before his untimely death in January of 2381. He was replaced by six engineers in two months leading many aboard the Theurgy to believe the Chief Engineering Officer’s position was cursed.
† Ensign Carla Abner
Ensign Carla Abner was an Engineering officer serving aboard the USS Harbinger in 2381. She was mentally conditioned by T'Rena to follow Declan Vasser’s eugenics agenda. Before the Harbinger was destroyed she and a number of other survivors managed to flee in an escape pod to planet Aeron-2514. She was rescued by Natalie Stark, ThanIda zh'Wann, Aisha S'Iti, and Doctor Maya who had taken the USS Allegiant on a Search And Rescue mission to recover the Harbinger’s survivors. After her mental conditioning was dispelled and her proper loyalties were restored, Ensign Abner assisted in the recovery of other survivors, risking her life on Varcae to provide covering fire against the hostile fauna and leaving the safety of the Allegiant’s loading bay to help ThanIda zh'Wann. She was brought back to the USS Theurgy and joined its crew, replacing one of the many casualties the carrier had taken since fleeing Federation space.
Two days before the mission to Starbase 84, Ensign Abner was cleared for duty and assigned to the Theurgy’s Engineering department where she met William Robert "Billy Bob" O'Connell for the first time and made an inquiry about the fate of O'Connell’s predecessor, Tatiana Marlowe.
During the raid on Starbase 84 she was stationed in the Theurgy’s main engineering section in multivector dreadnought's Vector Three hull. During the course of the battle, a hit from one of the starbase's weapons caused her to fall over the railing to the deck below, injuring her and leaving the command of the deck to Master Chief Petty Officer Nolak Kalmil, who had left sickbay early in order to return to duty.
During the Theurgy’s first encounter with the Savi, Ensign Abner was posted in the Theurgy’s Vector 01 Engineering section overseeing the Vector 01 warp core. After the Continuance Protocol was invoked and the three stardrive sections fled in separate directions she served as the primary propulsion officer for vector one.
When the vector 01 stardrive section was found by Task Force Archeron, Abner and F'Rell were installing a cloaking device.
When the Theurgy joined the Klingon battle group’s engagement with the Borg in the Azure Nebula, Ensign Abner was manning the engineering station on the main bridge. She was killed by a Borg boarding party when the Theurgy’s shields momentarily failed, allowing drones to be beamed aboard.
† Ensign T’sebl Felr
Ensign T’sebl Felr was a young man from the planet Vulcan who served as the engineering officer at Black Opal Station when it was scuttled in 2381. He was the only officer in the Engineering department aboard the undermanned depot station and had only two cadets as fulltime engineers under his command. Like most serving aboard the outpost, he was completely unprepared for the supply raid executed by the USS Theurgy in March of 2381. He was captured by Theurgy’s boarding party and evacuated to the carrier when the outpost’s discovery by the Romulans necessitated its scuttling. Later was informed about the truth of Starfleet Command and joined the Theurgy’s engineering department.
Two days before the mission to Starbase 84, Ensign Felr and his shipmates from Black Opal were cleared for duty. He was assigned to the Theurgy’s Engineering department where he met Master Chief William Robert "Billy Bob" O'Connell and questioned O'Connell's qualifications for the position of Chief Engineer and respectfully reminded him that an enlisted man was required to properly address an officer. O'Connell bluntly informed him that the Theurgy had lost five chief engineers and that proper protocol was not a priority for him. Afterwards O'Connell took Felr and his shipmates to the Theurgy’s Deck Nineteen to introduce them to the captain's yacht, the USS Allegiant.
During the Starbase 84 mission, Felr joined his shipmates aboard the Allegiant, serving as the engineering officer under his former commanding officer, Lieutenant Commander Jennifer Dewitt. Unfortunately, he was killed in action during the battle.
† Ensign Sean McGee
Ensign Sean McGee was an Engineering officer serving aboard the USS Resolve when it went missing in 2377 and served as a propulsion officer until it returned to Federation space in 2381. When the Resolve was destroyed during the Battle of Starbase 84, he was among the personnel evacuated to the USS Theurgy. Not wanting to believe the events that compromised Starfleet Command, McGee pretended to join the cult calling themselves the Devoted in order to place a plasma charge on the warp core in main engineering in order to force the Theurgy to surrender itself to the authorities or turn over command to the survivors of the Resolve. He didn’t trust the crew of the Theurgy and it required the timely action of Thea, the ship's Artificial Intelligence manifested as a solid hologram to restrain him.
He was confined the brig and placed in a cell directly across from the one holding Doctor Maya, who had previously been restrained for her actions during the Starbase 84 mission that she had unknowingly performed under the influence of Doctor Lucan cin Nicander.
He was later killed in action during the Battle of the Apertures. (DEVOTED)
† Cadet Vitaly Stanimir
Cadet Vitaly Stanimir was an engineering assistant spending his cadet cruise at Black Opal Station. He reported to Ensign T’sebl Felr during his time on the station. When the crew of the by Theurgy took over the station he was easily overpowered and subdued. After an attack by the Romulans made it necessary to scuttle the station, Stanimir was taken aboard the Theurgy where he was briefed on the true state of affairs at Starfleet Command and encouraged to join the Theurgy’s engineering department.
During the mission to Starbase 84, Cadet Stanimir was assigned to the USS Allegiant. He was killed in action during the battle.
† Petty Officer Sirch Karmak
Petty Officer Sirch Karmak was an engineer aboard the USS Theurgy in 2381. He joined the cult that worshiped the time travelling Sarresh Morali who called themselves the Devoted. The day after the mission to Starbase 84 he was part of a plan to take over the ship by taking the warp core hostage with a plasma charge. His bid to take over was unsuccessful, for his accomplice Ensign Sean McGee was in reality simply using him to issue an ultimatum of his own. Before the crisis was resolved, Petty Officer Karmak was beamed directly to the brig so that he wouldn’t be distraction during delicate negotiations.
He was later killed in action during the Battle of the Apertures. (DEVOTED)
† Petty Officer Keith Sanford
Petty Officer Keith Sanford was a starship repair technician serving aboard Starbase 84. He was killed aboard the USS Resolve when an console in the starship’s main engineering section overloaded and exploded. The explosion was determined to be an act of sabotage. He was survived by a mother who lived in a city floating above the Sol system’s second planet Venus.
† Crewman Dom Fok
Crewman Dom Fok was a twenty year old male human assigned to the Theurgy’s plasma relay monitoring station in main engineering during the USS Theurgy’s battles with Starfleet. After the evacuation from Theta Eridani IV and the escape from Task Force Archeron, Fok was psychically indoctrinated by Ensign Cir'Cie into following Vasser and T'Rena’s agenda. His first act of sabotage was to set the plasma relay controls to overload the plasma conduits causing an explosion in main engineering that fatally injured then acting chief engineer Tatiana Marlowe. After that he joined the mutineers, and was part of Sjaandin Fedd’s pursuit party when they were chasing Carrigan Trent and William O’Connell through the decks of the USS Theurgy before splitting from the main group to follow O’Connell into main engineering. He was overpowered by O’Connell before getting stunned by a stray phaser beam fired by fellow mutineer Ensign Collin McArthur. He was awoken by Master Chief O’Connell at the beginning of the Theurgy’s final battle with the Calamity and instructed to get back to his station. After the battle when traces of Lexorin had been vented through the starship, the mental hold over Fok weakened and he felt remorse for his actions. He hid in the chief engineer’s office before O’Connell found him and escorted him to main sickbay where Maya and Cir'Cie could undo the mental tampering and restore his original loyalties.
Two days before the mission to Starbase 84 Crewman Fok was cleared by Counselor Hayden O'Connor and returned to duty.
Sometime in the next two days Crewman Fok fell in with the cult calling themselves the Devoted. The day after the mission to Starbase 84 he was part of plan to take over the Theurgy. He had been assigned Work Bee Zero-Nine and was assisting in exterior repairs when he made an ultimatum and threatened to detonate the sirillium gas that had collected around the Theurgy’s hull while the ship was hiding in the Azure Nebula. In the end, his involvement with the Devoted cost him his life, since he died piloting that worker bee.
† Crewman Poe
Crewman Poe served aboard the USS Theurgy in 2381 and was injured during the plasma relay emergency caused by Dom Fok’s sabotage. After the destruction of the Calamity, Crewman Fok expressed regret for the injuries he had caused Crewman Poe and Tatiana Marlowe, indicating that Poe’s injuries were fatal.
