USS Zerahl

The USS Zerahl was a Federation starship serving in Starfleet in the 24th century.
In 2374, a joined Trill who was an operative for Starfleet Intelligence was fatally wounded when the Zerahl was attacked by Klingon Birds of Prey. Enslgn Edena Lal, fresh out of Starfleet Academy was available to take the Rez symbiont, changing her name to Edena Rez and starting her career in Starfleet Intelligence.
(So far the class of the Zerahl has not been revealed.)
