USS Sarek

The USS Sarek was an Excelsior class Federation starship operated by Starfleet in the late 24th century.
Kaylon Jeen spent a year aboard the Sarek with the rank of ensign serving as a propulsion officer from 2374 to 2375.
The Sarek was part of the task force sent to retake Deep Space 9 in 2374’s Third Battle of Deep Space 9. The Sarek replaced the USS Cortes in formation when the latter experienced engine trouble. (DS9: "Favor the Bold") During the battle it was hit by Cardassian torpedoes. Kaylon Jeen’s brave actions when rescuing two of his shipmates would later award him the Star Cross.
