USS Fairchild-A

The USS Fairchild-A was a Federation New Orleans class starship operated by Starfleet in the late 24th century. After transferring from the USS Discovery Counselor Hayden O'Connor served aboard the Fairchild as a counselor and medical officer before being assigned to the USS Harbinger.
In 2381 the Fairchild was part of Task Force Archeron, and was disabled by Lieutenant Commander Carrigan Trent's "Soup Sandwich" virus, but a week later had recovered sufficiently to participate in the Battle of Starbase 84.
Less than a week later the Fairchild was in the Azure Nebula and recovered an escape pod holding an unconscious Lieutenant (junior grade) Annika Van den Berg who had escaped the destruction of the USS Endeavour
