The USS Demeter was a 24th century Federation Galaxy-class starship operated by Starfleet.
In 2374, Salem Martin passed the Chief’s exam was assigned to the USS Demeter in time for the Battle of Cardassia.
During the Treaty of Bajor's signing, the Demeter was tasked with refugee and prisoner shuttling.
In 2377, Chief Petty Officer Salem Martin finally took the Ensign test, and passed. He served aboard the Demeter with the rank of ensign until he transferred to the USS Cayuga in 2378.
