USS Gettysburg

The USS Gettysburg was a 24^th century Federation operated by Starfleet. This starship was the final command of Mark Jameson and the last location of space travel for him before 2364. (TNG: "Too Short a Season")

The Gettysburg later docked for maintenance at Deep Space 9 during the Dominion War in 2375. (DS9: "Treachery, Faith and the Great River")

In 2375 Scruffy Leblanc was promoted to petty officer third class and assigned to the Gettysburg as part of the starship’s Engineering department.

In 2378 Petty Officer Leblanc was promoted to petty officer second class despite his casual and laidback style clashing with that of Lieutenant (junior grade) Emelia 'Blue' Marguerite Tiran who had recently been transferred to the Gettysburg as part of the Engineering department.

Early in 2379 Blue Tiran was taken hostage on the planet Ryla where she managed to rescue the away team by getting back to the shuttle they had arrived in and using the shuttle’s transporter. Her heroic actions earned her a promotion to Lieutenant (senior grade) and the Diamond Star. Later that year, personality clashes with the Gettysburg’s new chief engineering officer nearly ended her career when a prank on her superior caused a serious injury. Although her career remained intact, the Gettysburg’s commanding officer decided to remove her from the ship’s roster.

In the summer of 2380, Petty Officer Second Class Scruffy Leblanc was promoted to petty officer first class and transferred to the USS Bellerophon.

(Since the Gettysburg was active since the early 24^th century and is larger than a Saber class, I estimate that the Gettysburg is an Ambassador, Constellation, or an Excelsior class starship.)
