Starbase 146 was a Federation starbase operated by Starfleet during the mid-24th century.
In 2375 Ensign Daniel Havenborn, a fighter pilot assigned to the USS Persephone, was sent to Starbase 146 for medical leave. There he had a romantic relationship with Lieutenant (junior grade) Valerie Shu Xian Lim, a science officer who was stationed there. When he recovered enough to be declared fit for duty, the two ended the relationship amicably.
In 2377, seven starships including the Persephone were recalled to Starbase 146 to undergo post-wartime refits.
