Starbase 146 was a Federation starbase operated by Starfleet during the mid-24th century.
In 2375 Ensign Daniel Havenborn, a fighter pilot assigned to theUSS Persephone, was sent to Starbase 146 for medical leave. There he had a romantic relationship with Lieutenant (junior grade) Valerie Shu Xian Lim, a science officer who was stationed there. When he recovered enough to be declared fit for duty, the two ended the relationship amicably.
