The USS Hypatia (NCC-73021) was a 24th century Federation starship operated by Starfleet.
In 2379, the Hypatia’s commanding officer was Captain Anderson Stein.
The Hypatia was Morgan Song’s first assignment following his release as a prisoner of war of the Klingons. After the Dominion War the Hypatia’s duties largely consisted of patrol missions and supply runs between starbases and solar systems. Morgan Song found his time aboard the Hypatia therapeutic, and rose from crewman to petty officer second class before transferring to the newly commissioned USS Theurgy in 2379.
(It has not been revealed what class of starship the USS Hypatia was, but based on its model number it was built in 2360s and was likely a Bradbury, Galaxy, or Nebula class).
