The USS Challenger (NCC-71099) was a 24th century Federation Galaxy-class starship operated by Starfleet. (Source: Memory Alpha)
Counselor Hayden O'Connor spent a year aboard the USS Challenger assisting Starfleet Criminal Investigative Service's agents afloat before transferring to the USS Discovery.
In 2378, the Challenger was one of several starships which intercepted a Borg sphere that carried the USS Voyager back to the Alpha Quadrant. (VOY: "Endgame")
After the USS Theurgy discovered the conspiracy that compromised Starfleet and fled Federation space, the Challenger was selected to be part of Task Force Archeron and ordered to hunt down and destroy the errant carrier.
In early 2380 the Challenger was selected for the Domination-class interim pod-lauching platform program. After the refit was completed, the Challenger was rechristened USS Supremacy and it was under that name the ship joined Task Force Archeron.
