In 2267, the USS Enterprise traveled to this base following its mission to Deneva. Later that year, Commodore Stocker was assigned command of the base and was transported there by the Enterprise. (TOS: "Operation -- Annihilate!", "The Deadly Years"; VOY: "Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy")
In 2375, a civilian pilot named Jaya Thorne was arrested at Starbase 10 and given a suspended sentence and served three months’ probation. During this time she was contacted and accepted the chance to enroll in Starfleet’s Enlisted Pilot Training Program and was trained on the base. She achieved the rank of petty officer third class before being sent to the Black Opal depot station to serve as a non commissioned pilot in 2377.
