The USS Roanoke was a 24th century Federation Nebula-class starship operated by Starfleet.
Alessia Garcia's mother Anna Marie was a security officer assigned to the USS Roanoke when she gave birth to Alessia’s brother Jonah in 2346. The Roanoke routinely docked at Starbase 34 for resupply allowing a romance to blossom between Anna Marie and Alberto Garcia who was a Starfleet fighter pilot stationed at Starbase 34 during the 2340's. Anna Marie transferred to Starbase 34 where she presumably married Alberto Garcia in 2346.
