USS Glowworm

The USS Glowworm was an Oberth-class starship operated by Starfleet in the late 24th century. Unsuited for frontline service, the Oberth was refitted into a dedicated fleet tender in 2369, incidentally resulting in a complete replacement of the old ship's warp drive, dramatically improving the ship's speed. While most Oberth-class starships were either destroyed during the Dominion War or decommissioned shortly afterwards, the Glowworm was retained by Starfleet as a fleet tender.
Alistair Leavitt served aboard the Glowworm as Chief of Operations from 2377 to 2379.
