USS Buran II

The USS Buran II was a 24^th century Federation starship operated by Starfleet. It was a science vessel heading out from Earth to conduct a series of scientific experiments outside the Milky way.

In 2376 the USS Buran II traveled outside the Milky Way Earth to conduct a series of scientific experiments and did not return to Earth until 2380.

Captain Novorosk was the Buran II’s commanding officer between 2376 and 2380.

In 2376, Simon Tovarek was assigned to the Buran II after graduating from Starfleet Academy and was quickly noticed by Captain Novorosk. Being a fluent Russian speaker gave Tovarek the ear of the Captain who often called him to his quarters to discuss some more Russian related topics. Simon Tovarek was promoted twice while serving aboard Buran II.
