Located in the Draconis Outback, Gorkon's Retreat rested in the shell of an old Klingon military base abandoned decades ago by the Empire. In 2367, a canny Orion pirate named Bardeck Gorales tracked down the base and began using it as a haven. Since then he allowed many of his brothers in the life to take up residence there as well, creating a veritable pirate's paradise.
