USS Bismarck

The USS Bismarck was a 24th century Federation Proxima-class starship operated by Starfleet.
Despite its age, in the late 2370's the Bismarck was considered a plum assignment by Starfleet Academy graduates.
After graduating from Starfleet Academy Ensign Gideon Drake spent the last months of 2378 aboard the Bismarck as a junior officer in the Tactial Department before being assigned to the USS Rabin the following year.
