IKS Gorkon

The IKS Gorkon was a Klingon starship in service to the Klingon Defense Force in the 24th century. During the mid 2370's the Gorkon was commanded by Captain Klag.
In 2374 the Gorkon captured a Cardassian vessel and spared El-Aurian refugee Zyrao Natauna who defected to the Klingon Empire and served aboard the Gorkon as a civilian strategist until 2377.
(The IKS Gorkon is featured in the Star Trek: Klingon Empire, formerly Star Trek: IKS Gorkon series of novels where it is listed as a Chancellor (Qang) class warship. The IKS Gorkon should not be mistaken for the Excelsior class USS Gorkon that served with was Admiral Alynna Nechayev's flagship for the armada she assembled for a possible renewed Borg invasion in 2369.
