n late 2369, Vice Admiral Nechayev mobilized a fleet consisting of the Crazy Horse and fourteen other ships with the stated aim of defending Federation colonies from an anticipated second Borg invasion.

A year later, the Crazy Horse transported Admiral Erik Pressman to a rendezvous with the USS Enterprise D.
