The USS Fairchild-A was a Federation New Orleans class starship operated by Starfleet in the late 24th century. After transferring from the USS Discovery Counselor Hayden O'Connor served aboard the Fairchild as a counselor and medical officer before being assigned to the USS Harbinger.
In 2381 the Fairchild was part of Task Force Archeron), and was disabled by Lieutenant Commander Carrigan Trent's "Soup Sandwich" virus.
