USS Assurance

The USS Assurance (NCC-26316) was a 24th century Federation Ambassador-class starship operated by Starfleet.
In 2357, the USS Assurance discovered the Inari System and made First Contact with the Vulpinians against orders when they discovered that the Vulpinian's natural development had been interfered with by the Cardassians.
(So far it has not been revealed if the USS Assurance was still in service as of 2381, but since Starfleet vessels are expected to have a service life of eight to ten decades there is no reason why it wouldn't be.)
