USS Hamburg

The USS Hamburg (NCC-10081) was a 24th century Galaxy-class starship operated by Starfleet. It was put in to service in the year 2372, almost exactly one year after the Intrepid-class USS Voyager (NCC-74656) had disappeared in the Badlands.

She was commanded by Captain Illya Pawlowski. In 2373, Lieutenant Junior Grade Katherine MacFarlane was assigned to the ship. Though MacFarlane could not remember meeting him, she found out he was an old family friend of her father, Alec.

In the years 2373 to 2375, the Hamburg was involved in at least two battles during the Dominion War, one of which caused severe injuries to Lt. MacFarlane, necessitating her return to Earth while the Hamburg continued through the war.
