Antares Shipyards

The Antares Shipyards, Alson known as the Antares Fleet Yards was a Federation shipyard located in the Bajor sector. During the 2360’s and 2370’s the Antares shipyards constructed both the components and entire vessels for Starfleet.
The Defiant-class prototype USS Defiant was launched from the Antares yards in 2370, on stardate 47538.5. (DS9: "The Search, Part I" dedication plaque) The USS Valiant was launched from Antares in 2372, on stardate 49456.5. (DS9: "Valiant" dedication plaque)
After the Dominion War, the Antares Shipyards collaborated with the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards to construct the Theurgy-class prototype USS Theurgy which was commissioned on October 9th, 2378.
