USS Ghost

The USS Ghost was an early Starfleet carrier in operation at some time prior to the 2380's. Lieutenant (junior grade) Alessia Garcia mentioned it when comparing her old commanding officer Captain Marcus Alexander Slayton to one of the early generation of carrier captains.

(So far it has not been revealed exactly when the USS Ghost served or whether or not it was operated by Federation Starfleet or the United Earth Starfleet of the 22^nd century. The use of fighters appears to be a fairly recent practice in the 24^th century in the Star Trek: Theurgy timeline, but it is possible that the USS Ghost could have seen action in the Dominion War. On the other hand, it is possible that that the USS Ghost was a 22^nd century space carrier that operated during the Earth-Romulan War when deflector shields weren't available and it was feasible to use small well armed fighters.)
