The USS Orcus (NX-88770) was the class vessel of the new Orcus-class Starfleet vessel that was active in the latter years of the 24^th century. The vessel and its crew served Starfleet Command during the events of the Parasite Invasion and it was under the command of Captain Marcus Alexander Slayton.

In 2381 the Orcus was part of Task Force Archeron, and was disabled by Lieutenant Commander Carrigan Trent's "Soup Sandwich" virus.
