The Antares Shipyards, also known as the Antares Fleet Yards was a Federation shipyard located in the Bajor sector. During the 2360’s and 2370’s the Antares shipyards constructed both the components and entire vessels for Starfleet.
The Defiant-class prototype USS Defiant was launched from the Antares yards in 2370, on stardate 47538.5. (DS9: "The Search, Part I" dedication plaque)
The USS Harbinger was launched from the Antares Fleet Yards on February 12th, 2371.
The USS Valiant was launched from Antares in 2372, on stardate 49456.5. (DS9: "Valiant" dedication plaque)
After the Dominion War, the Antares Shipyards collaborated with the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards to construct the Theurgy-class prototype USS Theurgy which was commissioned on October 9th, 2378.
