[[Kaylon Jeen]] spent a year aboard the ''Sarek'' with the [[rank]] of ensign serving as a propulsion officer from 2374 to 2375. The ''Sarek'' was part of the task force sent to retake [[Deep Space 9]] in 2374’s [http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Operation_Return Third Battle of Deep Space 9]. The ''Sarek''replaced the ''[[USS Cortes]] '' in formation when the latter experienced engine trouble.
