The USS Charleston was a Federation starship, an Excelsior-class cruiser vessel in service to Starfleet in the late 23rd and early 24th centuries.
Service History
The Charleston was displaced by an unstable wormhole to space held by the Romulan Star Empire in the year 2293. She managed a return journey to the Federation thanks to a Medusan Navigational Specialist it had on board.
In the Tomed Incident of 2311, the Charleston was destroyed by the Romulans' bird-of-prey Suran. (Decipher RPG module: Starships)
