Starbase 82 was a Federation space station, a Sierra type starbase in Starfleet service in the 24th century.
Service history
In 2368, the USS Enterprise-D brought the ship of the Ktarian criminal Etana Jol to Starbase 82. (TNG episode: "The Game")
In the year 2376, the station saw action during the Borg Invasion of 2376. (ST video game: Armada)
Six months later, in 2377, Starbase was involved in attacks by the Borg Collective and the Undine. (ST video game: Armada II)
Specifications
In 2376, Starbase 82 was constructed on a Sigma-class spaceframe, the Federation's main outpost for defending and supporting its territory during the Borg conflict. As such, the station would be center of affiliated stations, and able to construct Federation construction ships and Federation mining freighters. (ST video game: Armada)
