Deep Space 18

Deep Space 18 was a Federation station straddling the line to the Romulan Neutral Zone. It was considered to be your typical Deep Space starbase but it was actually home to a 'field office' for Starfleet Intelligence (SFI). It was often referred to as the "sister station" to Deep Space Nine, commanded by Captain Benjamin Sisko. Deep Space 18 was supposedly led by a Commander Turnbull but was actually helmed by Commander Pavlichenko of Starfleet Intelligence.

From 2370 to 2373, Lieutenant (Junior Grade) Katherine MacFarlane was assigned to the starbase as an analyst.
