Ensign Isley served aboard the ''Emery'' from 2377 to 2380. Young Isley was borderline insubordinate with the ''Emery''’s captain who seemed to prefer politics over action. Nathan Isley accused his CO of being a PADD pusher first and a captain second. Finally, the captain of the ''Emery'' offered Isley a promotion if he’d accept a transfer to the'' [[USS Theurgy]]''.
