Starbase 137 was a Federation starbase facility in operation in the 24th century. In the early 2350s Benjamin Sisko, a sophomore at Starfleet Academy, performed his field study at the base. Sisko later remarked that he was "apprehensive" upon arriving, but came to regard it as one of the best experiences in his life.
