USS Nautilus (NCC 31910)

History

In late 2374, the Nautilus participated in the First Battle of Chin'toka. During the battle, the Nautilus assisted the USS Defiant, USS Hood and the USS Tian An Men destroy a moon that contained the power generators for the Cardassian weapon platforms in the system. (DS9 episode: "Tears of the Prophets")

In early 2375, the Nautilus, with Commander Elias Vaughn aboard, was part of the Twelfth Fleet, which was to launch an offensive to retake Betazed from Dominion forces. That offensive was preempted when the Dominion attacked the fleet at Starbase 19. During the attack, the Nautilus received a message from the Betazed resistance with new plans to liberate the planet. By 2376, the Nautilus had been either destroyed or decommissioned and a new ship named Nautilus had taken its place. (TNG video games: Armada, Armada II)
