The USS Achilles (NCC-2011) was a Federation starship, an Excelsior-class battleship in service to Starfleet in the 23rd and 24th centuries.
Service History
The Achilles entered service on reference stardate 2/2912, in the 2290s decade. (FASA RPG module: Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual)
By the 2370s decade, this vessel would be succeeded in name by an Oberth-class ship, the USS Achilles. (TNG - War and Madness comic: "The First Casualty")
