Birth Pains - A Star Trek: Enterprise AU - Profiles

Here is where you can submit your character profiles for the RP. I'll provide a recommended format to use, but it's not compulsory to follow it exactly as set. If you feel there's a better format, feel free to recommend or just input it here. Thanks!

Here's my character's:
[Show/Hide]
Name: Sophia Marie Rodriguez
Rank: Commander
Position: Medical/Science
Species: Human
Age: 33
Gender: Female
Orientation: Demisexual
Birthplace: Vancouver, Canada, Earth
Height: 5'4" / 1.52m
Weight: 130 lbs / 58.9 kg
Hair: Hair Colour: Brunette
Eye Color: Brown
Played By: Selena Gomez
Writer: @Triage

Biography:
Sophia was born in rather interesting times, when Earth was on the verge of intergalactic travel. The daughter of a techno-biologist and a veterinarian, she followed in the footsteps of her parents, taking up medicine and xeno-biology, eventually graduating as a doctor. She participated in the United Earth Starfleet program, where her interest in studying alien physiology and anatomy was especially useful to the spacefaring organization.

She eventually took up command training as well, and went on to serve on frontier vessels as a discoverer of innovative healing and bio-defenses that would contribute to accelerating the modernization in the field of medicine. At the conclusion of the Romulan war and the formation of the United Federation of Planets, Sophia had been newly promoted to the rank of Commander, and assigned to the U.S.S. Courageous NCC-13, as first officer, under Captain Edward Milton.

Personality Profile:
Sophia's quite friendly, upbeat and energetic, maintaining a nearly stubborn sense of optimism, positivity and enthusiasm for virtually everything (a possible result from her friendship with Denobulans). She favours encouraging and leading by example, rather than commanding and giving orders for actions that she's not willing to do herself. Although she has Tactical Command training, Sophia almost always picks diplomacy or cautious tactics over forward and direct attacks, believing that peace is virtue far too important to compromise on a whim.

Physical Profile:
Thanks to an active lifestyle, healthy eating and the wonders of modern medicine, Sophia has a toned build, though she is shorter than the average height of most women of this day and age. Nevertheless, she is much stronger than she looks, and has robust stamina and durability.

I don't have a particular position for her yet but as a ENT era RP would most likely not have Bajoran, or Caitian crew yet, this lady would be my choice of character:

[Show/Hide]
Name: Isaac Coulthard
Rank: First Lieutenant
Position: MACO element commander
Species: Human
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Orientation: Heterosexual
Birthplace: Sarlat-le-Canéda, Dordogne, France
Height: 1.75m
Weight: 90kg
Hair: Brown-black
Eye Color: Brown
Played By: David Rife
Writer: @Top Hat

Biography:
Isaac was the middle of three children born to his parents, in a mid-sized town in the mountains of south-central France. Running around the forests variously with his older sister and friends like Jules, he developed an interest in outdoorsmanship and athletics at a young age. His school grades were good, if not exceptional, but he was blessed with a lot of common sense for his age.

There hadn't been a military member of his family for two generations prior to Isaac, so his decision to sign up at first consternated and worried his family, a reaction only worsened once he finished his training with the European forces at the École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr and an exchange with the British Army at Sandhurst, and applied for a transfer to the MACO. While the idea of him being a long way from home and fighting is still uncomfortable, his family have gotten used to his career choice. He was vindicated somewhat with the Xindi attack on Earth and the MACO's following role in ending the threat. Now, with the Romulan conflict upon them, they just hope he'll return safely.

Personality Profile:
Isaac was generally fairly dry and businesslike, though he shared the sense of humour and quiet confidence endemic to militaries the world over. Due in part to past attacks, and the current war, he harboured a mild xenophobic streak that increasing contact with the Vulcans and Andorians was only beginning to dent. He did also (grudgingly) have to admit that most Tellarites could keep up with a gropo's banter.

Physical Profile:
He was fairly stocky, and his skin was well-weathered from a life spent outdoors on more than one world. The demands of his position meant that he was often running drills for his troop or running a circuit of the ship's saucer. Whenever was practical and he could get away with it, though, he would wear long sleeves and a glove on his left hand; due to an accident on a grenade range he was left with extensive burns and shrapnel scarring over the left side of his body, extending from the base of his neck across the side of his torso and halfway down his leg. His entire left arm carried the same injuries, which he preferred not to see.
Nator 159: "I accept no responsibility for the ensign's manifest stupidity. Sir." [Show/Hide]
Ranaan Ducote: "A ship is a home; its crew a family." [Show/Hide]
T'Less: "Your odds of prevailing against us are... slim." [Show/Hide]
Valkra: "Come! We will shake the gates of Sto'Vo'Kor!" [Show/Hide]

Since i had to work super late tonight anyway, I buckled down and wrote up the first of my character sheets. Meet Evie Cogley, veteran pilot of the Earth-Romualn war:

[Show/Hide]
Name: Evelyn (Evie) Cogley
Rank: (TBD)
Position: Helm Officer
Species: Human
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Orientation: Pansexual
Birthplace: Atlantis, New Montana, Alpha Centauri System
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 114lbs
Hair: Blonde
Eye Color: Blue
Played By: Lily Ivy
Writer: Brutus

Biography:
Evelyn (Evie) Cogley was the third of seven children, and the eldest daughter of one of New Montana's oldest families. The Cogley's migrated to New Montana, a planet in the Alpha Centauri system, along with other early colonists such as Lily Slone and the Great Zephram Cochran himself. Her family settled in on the shores of Atlantis, one of the continents on the colony world. Cochran named the planet New Montana - the settled on the island, one of three major settlement, chose the name Atlantis. And the Cogley's were one of those first families.

Evie had an idyllic childhood, working her parents farm, going down to the coast in the afternoons to swim and bathe in the warm waters. The family plot was sprawling and large, acres and acres with one one around. Her closest neighbors were kilometers away, and the nearest town, nigh on 100km distant. It was as close to paradise as the family could ask for.  She would attend classes during the winter seasons, and study at home during the planting and harvest. She loved being so close to nature, and even with six brothers and sisters, the girl managed to find plenty of time alone to herself, wandering the family lands.
She loved her home, dearly, but more so, she loved to fly. Studying at the Cochran institute afforded Evie the chance to fly shuttlepods and orbital craft, ferrying herself and other students to labs in orbit around the planet. It was a thrill, something that set her heart afire in ways she'd never experienced before. At 16, she saw her home planet from orbit, for the first time, and fell in love with the colony in a whole new way, and tugged at that sense of wanderlust and adventure that had consumed her childhood.

But it was the Romulans that finally drove her away from her home planet.
Reports of the attack on Coridan, the heartless slaughter of millions when a suicide craft detonated inside the atmosphere of the planet shook the Alpha Centauri system. The follow up attack, by a trio of Romulan ships, clashing with an United Earth and Vulcan patrol in the early months of the war, just outside the system, tipped things for Cara. Without telling her parents, she stole their truck and motored down from the farm, to town. That morning, she pulled in, hopped out with nothing more than the clothes on her back and a copy of her transcript, and enlisted in Starfleet. Alpha Centauri considered itself an independent colony, but its ties to the homeworld of human species were strong, and the Earth based Starfleet was the closest thing Alpha Centauri had to a military force, beyond a smattering of small, intra-solar combat patrol ships that operated at high impulse, and a merchant marine fleet of warp - 2 & warp 3 capable freighters.

Evie boarded one of those freighters, designated as a troop transport, for Earth, later that very same morning.
She would spend the next two years in an accelerated Academy tour, and graduate as an Ensign from Starfleet Academy, to be posted on one of the 'newer' Daedalus-class starships. Inferior in many ways to the NX class starships like Enterprise, Columbia and Atlantis, this class of vessel had two things going for it. The first, it was much, much easier, and quicker, to produce than the streamlined NX class. And second, its systems configurations made it less susceptible to Romulan telepresence hacking.

During the war, Ens. Cogley found herself serving on multiple ships in a slew of battles. Twice, her ship was blown out from under her - First, by a Romulan ambush, and second, when the Captain evacuated the crew and crashed the vessel into an enemy outpost on a moon overlooking an Earth colony near Galorndon Core, in the second of three battles that would be fought over the planet during the war. Evie's third ship was an Intrepid- class warp light-cruiser, packed to the gills with armaments but crippled in speed (the class would not be upgraded to a warp-5 capable engine until after the war). She spent six months on the vessel, stationed back in the Alpha Centauri system as part of its planetary defense network.  As good as it felt to be home, she knew she could not go home, not to her family, not with the war on, and never once took leave.

Her final assignment of the war placed her back on a Daedalus-class, the USS Knox at the battle of Charon. Lead by Jonathan Archer on NX-01 Enterprise an united Earth, Andorian ,Tellerite and Vulcan fleet smashed into the last major invasion fleet of the Romulan empire.  It was a hellish battle, but at the end of the day, the Knox proudly limped into orbit around Cheron, in formation with the heavily damaged Enterprise and an honor guard of Andorian cruisers, victorious.

Recognized for her superior skills in piloting during the final battle, and after a forced R&R period of no less than six months, the vetran combat pilot returned to duty in the newly minted Federation Starfleet, receiving a promotion in rank, and a prime posting to one of the newest NX class starships, USS Courageous (one of the most advanced ships in the fleet), as its Chief Flight Control Officer. After years of war, Evie was finally getting to answer her hearts call to explore.

Personality Profile:
For all her life, Evelyn was an adventurous girl. Raised on New Montana, one of the Alpha Centauri colonies founded by Lily Slone and Zephram Cochran himself, Evie was well aware that every step she took, every hill she climbed, was a testament to human progress and determination. She approached the world with wonder and a hearty sense of self confidence - some would go as far to say overconfident. The girl possessed a rampant wild streak and a rugged stubbornness, a deep seated pride that was common place in the pioneers of humanities first successful extra solar colony. Head strong and cocksure, and tempered in battle, she did her best to present a cheery, self assured persona to everyone around her, burying her fears deep deep inside.

Physical Profile:
Evie was blessed with sun kissed skin, and shoulder length blonde hair. Her eyes were a clear, crystal blue, and her lips seemed to always curl into a smile. She as child of nature, and spent far more time outdoors under the light of multiple stars on the New Montana colony, lapping up the waves on the showers of Atlantis. Her body showed this, curves in all the right places with muscle under the skin. Her most distinguish factor was a tattoo that wrapped around her right thigh - a map of the contents of New Montana, with Atlantis, where she attended the Cochrane Institute, front and center. Evie was fond of piercings, and would often be seen sporting rings or studs in her nose, lips, ears and occasionally eyebrow, as well as a bejewled ring in her belly button that dangled a string of bright gems down, often pointing the way toward a trimmed patch of hair above her mound.
