EPIL: S [D07|0100] Cardboard Castles & Cuddles April 20, 2019, 03:51:33 AM [Lt. Zephyr Praise | Cardboard Castles | Blanket Forts for 400 | Targ Pups | Together At Last]@Numen Zephyr Praise was exhausted, confused, and just plain spent. Running into Thomas Ravon had shaken the world for her. What he was feeling, what he was thinking, everything had been thrown on her in the heat of the moment. She wasn't sure what to tell him, how to tell him, how to break it to him that she was currently interested in someone else. There was, time for that, and it wasn't when she first met him. She needed time to think and he needed time to cool off. To remember that she was not the girl from the Academy any more even if he wanted her to be. So much had happened, so much had changed, so much had become different about her. She was fully Betazoid now and she didn't mind being full. Pressing the button for her Quarters she stepped in. She hoped that Khorin was here. She hadn't seen him since they had been locked up together. She hadn't heard his voice or felt his mind. She hadn't heard the deep rumble of his mental voice and truthfully she worried for him. Chemical imbalance or not, she knew that he was taking the death of that doctor severely hard and she wanted to be there for him. She didn't want to hover, but she wanted him to know that he was certainly not alone. However, she also wanted to explore how they could be, together, on this ship. Without the fate of the world at their finger tips, without having to worry about death around every corner, without all the pressure to find something good to hold onto. The doors closed behind her and she looked up having been in thought she could feel him. Already, she could feel him, and so her dark eyes darted up and she found.. boxes? Tilting her head to the side she saw the massive stack of boxes. For a moment she thought he had just put all his stuff haphazardly in the center of the Quarters without any thought to the fact that they would have to walk around the damn thing every time they needed to pee or eat or.. leave. But, then she noticed the precisely placed blankets, and how they fell down just perfectly so that they hid all the cracks the boxes had left exposed. On the floor, in front of what she presumed was some kind of entrance into the box fort, was a small ratty stuffed Targ. It looked well loved, and she was shocked it had made it through being with a Klingon child. Crossing quietly over the room, she knelt down and brushed the blanket to the side slightly, sure enough, there was a slight cavernous entrance followed by a large central space. Blankets covered the floors and a string of lights hung from the box ceiling somehow. She couldn't see that far yet. Off to the side, she noticed that Khorin was sitting, she couldn't see more than his bare foot. A smile crossed her face. She had definitely not taken him for a box fort kinda guy, but she loved it. She rapped her knuckles on the box. “Permission to enter your castle, King Khorin?” she called into the castle. “Your guard dog hasn't bitten me yet, so I think I might be safe?”She could tell, mentally, he didn't mind if she entered so she slipped into the fort which was made for his large Klingon size so she fit rather easily. Letting the blanket door close behind her she crawled into the main room of the tent and looked around. “This is so cool.” she admitted, the lights above reflecting in the dark pools of her eyes. Turning to look at him, she crawled over to him and climbed into his lap without even asking or thinking. Taking her hands she cupped his large face and brought it up so that she could look into his eyes. “I missed you.” she confessed softly. ~I was afraid you wouldn't be here.~ 5 Likes

Praise Quarters| Deck 8 | USS Theurgy | In transit to Aldea][Show/Hide]Att: @BZ When Khorin stepped out of the bathroom, he paused for a moment just to look at his masterpiece. It trully was a nice box fort. His hair fell wet on his shoulders, in surprisingly ordained locks. He felt more... clean and than he had felt since his Correction, yet there was a new feral nature in his corrected body that he was unnable to tame.No matter how hard he tried, there was something wilder in him, somthing he couldn't point out but that seemed alien and undisciplened. He didn't know if he would ever be able to repress it. Not even if he wanted to do it. Things were as they were from now on, and possibly the best option he had was not to give it too much thought. As with almost everything that had happened on that day. On that week. Or months. So far, it was the best thing that had worked for him. Don't think too much and accepting what was coming as it happened. He has never being a heavy thinker. And that day he had thought too much. Until his brain ached.Carelessly, he threw the wet towel into a corner of the main room, and then Khorin approached one of the battlements of his castle. He opened the box in the top position, out of reach of his gaze, and pulled out a change of clothes. In no time he was wearing a grey gym shorts, baggy and worn-out and one of his favorites sweaters. It showed an accurate representation of an ancient Earth reptile as an ambassador of a well-known style of classical music. He wasn't as colorful as his usual off-duty clothes, but he was still funky enough. He looked at himself in the mirror, just for a moment. Even with his little knowledge of fashion, he knew that his appearance was far from elegant. It was comfortable and homely. And he hoped she didn't mind and that Zeph thought it was as much funny as he did. As a final step, he went to the replicator and introduced the parameters of the compound that maintained his chemical unbalance on check. He hold it with clumsy fingers and next he supported the hypospray in the left size of his neck and injected the substance directly into his jugular. It stung, but he didn't want that anything spoiled the evening. Even less THAT. Rubbing the painful spot of his neck, he returned the empty hypospray to the replicator, which dematerialized the device in no time.He then introduced a long series of commands into the replicator. While the device was replicating what he requested, he introduced them one by one in a lateral section of the fort that he had arranged for that use, hidden from view from the entrance. At last, when everything was as he wished, he took the last box, the only one that wasn't part of the palace structure, and pushed it into the central space, dragging it in front of him while he crawled towards the interior and dropped the entrance blanket behind him. Once inside he settled down and took an old album out of the box. Khorin lay down on some cushions and prepared himself to wait for Zephyr to appear, without knowing when she would appear. Or if she would appeared at all.The familiar hissing of the door took him out of the slumber in which he had plunged. Rubbing his eyes, he sat up, still half disoriented. At some point, the album and padd that had been skimming through had slipped to his side and a few old photographs were scattered around the central blancket. Khorin hastened to push them quickly to the side in a messy pile.Soon, that little deviation for his plan was forgotten. The impact of her mind on his was like breathing fresh air for the first time after months aboard a starship and its recycled air. It felt like... like something he had missed deeply. There was something strange in her thoughts, something turbulent, but the Klingon, unaccustomed to this mental connection, to feel what other being felt, didn't know how to interpret it. Besides, his own excitement prevented him from deepening too much in her feelings. Possibly she was tired. After all, it had been a long and exhausting day. Without spending a second longer than necessary, he straightened his back and looked at the door. He had to make a real effort to stay still where he was and not go out to meet her, but he must stick with the plan. When she put away the blanket that made the front door, his heart skipped a beat, and a grin flourished in his bearded face. But he strived to adopt a stern and regal expression as soon as she stepped in. "If my fierce hound has allowed you to enter through my castle door, it means you are welcome. For the moment” He rumbled, a deadpan expression etched on his angular face. She crawled inside, and praised his work. He struggled to suppress a smile and kept watching her with a serene face. Deeply inside, he loved how the lights play with the darkness of her eyes, like stars shinning in the deepest space. The small lights drew flaming reflections from her curls, like distant nebulae. Slowly, Zeph crawled in his lap and held his big head between her slender hands. They were surprisingly rough, as if she had been working with them only a short time ago."I missed you." she confessed softly and he rumbled happily in response. ~I was afraid you wouldn't be here.~ She went on to say, inside their heads this time. He backed away slightly and blinked a couple of times, confused. "You won't get rid of me so easily, Kyamo." he joked. Then he nuzzle her hair. His mind voice, however, sounded deadly serious ~ I will always come back to you, whereever you where. It doesn't matter how far away we are or how many times I have to try. I will always come back. I promise.~ He held her in his arms, his massive body wrapped around hers tighly. After a few moments, he pulled one of his arms away from her shoulders and groped for something at his back. Finally his fingers fell over on what he was looking for. With a fluid movement, he placed a heavy blanket over the betazoid's shoulders. It was a bedding made from the hirsute skin of an animal. It was covered with hair of different lengths, dark and thick, marbled with white splotches here and there. However, despite its crude and primitive appearance, it was surprisingly soft and warm. "So, you've overcome the first challenge, my savage Toby the Targ" he said with theatrical seriousness. "You want to dispute me this, the crown of my kingdom," he kept saying, placing a yellow paper crown on his unkempt mane. "All right, you'll have to beat me in a series of dangerous challenges I've prepared if you dare to fight for it, missy." Last Edit: April 21, 2019, 07:17:48 PM by Numen 3 Likes
Re: EPIL: S [D07: 0100] Cardboard Castles & Cuddles Reply #2 – April 23, 2019, 09:51:09 PM [Lt. Zephyr Praise | Battles for Dominance | King of the Castle | Queen of His Heart | Finally, Peace]@Numen She had truly been afraid he would not be here. That he would have rather of stayed away in the Quarters that he had clearly had elsewhere. Where she had nothing to her name, nothing to bring with her, he had boxes. Enough to make a castle that could fit a Klingon, bedding, and room for her at it's heart. Where they were going to put all these things she didn't know. But, she was glad he had things because it would mean that her place would be more at home. It would be more of a home instead of the boring empty Quarters that it was now. If she could ever woo her Klingon out of his pout hut and out into the real world again. It had been a rough day, a rough week, really in the world of her Klingon. But, she knew that together they could come through it all. They could make it happen together because they were both very good at what they did and they were connected. Whatever happened, they could return to their center. Each other. He told her that he would always come to where she was. No matter where, he would find her, return to her, and the answering smile across her face said more than her words would have. She truly cared for him, loved him, in the kind of deep way that pulled at her heart every time they had to part. She still remembered the pain when they had him distracted in the Brig and she had to walk away from him. He needed care, he needed space, and he needed people he knew. He would have to find her late; and he had, he had found her. He had come to her Quarters and made himself at home. This was their home, shared, and beautiful. It was a place she could truly get behind every day when she came home from a long shift. Her job wouldn't be as hard as his. He was a pilot, a fighter pilot and … It dawned on her then. He'll work with Thom... oh what have I done. she thought to herself as she closed her dark eyes and rested her head in his large hands for the moment. He shifted reaching behind himself and pulled out a rough fur type blanket. It was soft though, more so than it looked as he wrapped it around her shoulders causing her to lay down against him, her head resting on his large shoulder as though it was her own pillow. She was so tired, so … so tired, but she didn't want to miss a minute of being with Khorin. She knew they had seen a lot of each other recently, their connection snapped into place so quickly. It scared even her, sometimes, but then she remembered how it was like breathing, being next to Khorin. He explained how she had thwarted Toby the Targ, prompting a small cute giggle from her lips as she sat back up to look at him. He teased her that she wanted to take his crown from him, but there was a series of quests that she would have to complete. With a smile she looked up at the yellow paper crown that he placed on his braided hair. She needed to brush it out for him, but that was going to be a task for later, with some water, spray shampoo, and a pick. For now though, it still suited him even if it was odd to see the paper crown on top of his braids. Pursing her lips she looked up at the crown and then back in his joking but mock serious eyes. She reached up and snatched the crown off his head and put it on her own. Her own soft curls, shoulder length, and clean fell around her to frame her face slightly even with the crown. She smiled and leaned in pressing their noses side by side.“I don't want to take the crown. I want to share it with you. I will be Queen to your Cardboard Castle, and Toby can be our guard.” she whispered against his lips, breath rushing against the sensitive skin there. Then, Zeph did the thing she had wanted to for a long time. She pulled him into not just a kiss. But a deep and heated kiss. The kind that sent her sprawling backwards with him on top of her. There was just enough room in their cardboard paradise for the maneuver. She lost her hands in his braids, the paper crown slumped to the side discarded and almost flat now as she wrapped her body around the man. Her hands fought for his stupid unicorn death metal sweatshirt, to toss it to the side and off of his body. She wanted to sleep, she did, she was exhausted, but.. but first she needed him in the way they had not been able to. The way their bodies had called to one another, and she could only hope that he was game. 3 Likes

Praise Quarters| Cardboard Castle | Deck 8 | USS Theurgy | In transit to Aldea][Show/Hide]Att: @BZ Through the bond that linked them, Zephyr's emotions reached him like a torrent. So fast that he could barely apprehend them. But there was a continuous feeling, something that ran steady beneath all that turmoil. A warm and pleasant emotion. Just the same that stirred his own heart every time he saw her. Or when he thought about her. So he decided to keep just that. Later he could ask her about everything else. If she wanted to talk about it.So he gave her time. And he enjoyed every second that she kept her head resting against his shoulder. The sensation of holding her in his lap. Protecting her with his body. It was... something. Something ingrained in his character that he had been unable to demonstrate with anyone. Not so deeply. Not so thoroughly. He had always possessed a protector instinct, it was part of who he was, of what he was. That was the reason why he was so good at his job, not because he was the fastest pilot, nor the best marksman. It was because he established bonds with his companions and didn't mind risking his life if that way he protected his brothers and sisters. But this trait, with Zephyr, was something else. Something more intense. Maybe it really was what they called par'Mach. He didn't care how to call it. As long as she smiled at him as she had done before. And so Khorin went on with the farce he had planned. He placed the klongat's pelt over her shoulders and played the role of the defied regent. When she pursed her lips, he pretended to be shocked, raising a bushy eyebrow. As she stretched out her hand to take the paper crown from him, he pretended to try to avoid it, moving his neck from side to side, as if he wasn't capable of overcoming her, as if her strength was far greater than his. But he actually let her do what she wanted, and he grinned when she joined the game and put the paper piece over her curls. His smile only widened when she leaned until their noses touched and confessed that she preferred to share the crown with him. And the castle with both, him and Toby, "Share? I dunno... who would rule the roost then?" he teased as he caressed the tip of her nose with his. He felt her breath on his lips as he did so. It was a tantalising sensation. All in all, the passion with which Zephyr kissed him was a shock. A pleasant surprise. The Klingon let himself be pulled by that, his plans instantly forgotten. His arms framed her body. His braided mane rained over her head as a wild waterfall, hiding their faces from Toby's sententious gaze. A deep purr began to grow in his chest, a deep and guttural sound that soon filled his cardboard palace. That rumble only intensified when she struggled with his sweatshirt. He could have made things easier for her, but he put up some resistance. Mainly because a small fight, even if feigned, was part of the foreplay in his books. Despite his opposition to her efforts, his lips curled in a smile, all pointy teeth. It was almost the snarl that he would direct to an enemy. Almost. They were stepping into a mood were aggression and concupiscence blurred."Kyamo..." he called the name he had given her almost as a warning when their lips parted a second time. He slid his fingers through her dense curls, his brown eyes lost in those dark wells that brightened her face. The prank he had planned, the playful banter he had begun, was now forgotten. Then he decided what to do next. It was simple. Almost more now, after everything that had happened. After what they had been through that very same day. Determined, he nuzzled the inner part of one of her wrists. He sniffed the soft skin, ascending to smell the palm of her hand. It smelled earthy. And to plants. And to something else that he couldn't identify. But above all it smelled of her. Then he gripped it between his calloused fingers, firmly, until her nails stuck in her own palm. They punctured her skin and let pour a small drop of blood. He wasn't sure if she would understand. Or if she would be scared. He only hoped that she would trust him. And that she realized what he was doing. Not knowing how she would react, he kissed her again, with the same ardor and depth that she had, or even more. And then Khorin offered her his free hand, the one that did not hold hers, and waited expectantly. Last Edit: April 25, 2019, 12:49:06 PM by Numen 2 Likes
Re: EPIL: S [D07: 0100] Cardboard Castles & Cuddles Reply #4 – April 27, 2019, 06:02:10 PM [Lt. Zephyr Praise | Mating | A Night Together | First Steps Toward Forever | His Kyamo]@Numen The growling rumble from his chest melted her insides. It was something that turned her on in ways she didn't think she needed. Zeph had gone a long time without someone. She wasn't the sort for one night stands and careless nights to scratch an itch. Instead, since Ethan had dumped her, she had concentrated on herself. Building herself back up and putting herself back together over and getting back to who Zephyr Praise was going to be. Who she wanted to be. So she went back to school, threw herself in her work, threw herself in her research, and never looked back. She figured that at some point she would find someone that resonated with her soul. Until then she had just refrained. Others on the Azurite Station would hook up and enjoy themselves a little bit together just for fun. Some even had full on relationships but Zeph hadn't found anyone she couldn't live without and thus she had just done her own thing. Now though, she had this Klingon that after first meeting had just settled with her. It was as if they had known each other their whole lives even though they had only just met. Fighting back to back on the Versant, sleeping in his arms, sharing their food and experiences. Had only deepened the bond that she had felt at the beginning and now it was something she couldn't stand to live without. A deep feeling of 'belonging' that came when she was in the same room as each other. As they fell over his beautiful braids had slid around them. She loved the way they felt in her hands though she also wanted to wash and brush out his hair. That would come later. Later when they had time and weren't exhausted as they were. The small nap she had taken in the Brig less than twenty minutes long was too short and the Betazoid found herself absolutely wishing for sleep. After though, after she showed Khorin how she felt about him. They wrestled with his shirt. At first it was because she didn't think he wanted it off, but he was allowing her enough progress to keep going. She finally got it off and tossed it to the side with a triumphant grin in his direction knowing that he would likely not be too gentle with her own clothing once he got that far. Her nickname whispered out at her, and her dark eyes went over to his soft brown warm eyes. She gave a smile and a nod. She didn't want to stop, she didn't want to breathe, she didn't want anything to stop them from having this moment. They met imprisioned, and bonded as they fought back, and now, now they wanted to finish what they knew was right and good. The both of them could use a good thing for the time being. He picked up one of her arms from his body. Brushing his nose against her wrist. Despite washing her hands after working earlier in the Arboretum she knew there was still soil staining the underside of her nails. Where it belonged, as it had always been before she had run away from Azurite. He inhaled her scent and then he curled her hand into a fist so that her nails bit into the soft flesh of her palm. Her eyes shifted to watch him, she trusted him, though she didn't know anything about Klingon mating rituals but she knew that he wouldn't hurt her for no reason. So, he pierced her skin by folding her hand and she felt the blood well from the wounds. Her eyes never left his, but her breathing escalated as she did so. He kissed her as they pierced her palm and she kissed him back pressing her body up against his, arching her back to connect with him as much as she possibly could. Then when the kiss broke he handed her his free hand and waited. She got the message clear enough and took his hand folding it. She was strong, but his hand was big and it took a lot of effort and some help from him to pierce his palm with his own fingernails. But, it was done and she smiled softly up at him. “I love you.” she whispered. “You are my other half. The mate to my soul.” she whispered out and then she pulled him into a heavy and deep kiss. It left absolutely no argument. She didn't want to kiss and make out. She wanted to be with him, in every single way that she could. She tore away from his lips and she began to bite and kiss at his neck and throat to hopefully drive him wild enough he wouldn't stop .. not this time. 2 Likes

Praise Quarters| Deck 8 | USS Theurgy | In transit to Aldea][Show/Hide]Att: @BZ Khorin felt her trembling beneath him as blood began to sprout from the palm of her hand. For a moment, he feared that he had frightened her. But as soon as she bent under him, pressing her body against his, there was no doubt left. The murmur from his chest grew exponentially. As she held his hand, following the ritual, he slid his under her shirt. He needed to feel her skin, he was hungry for her. The Klingon helped her pierce his skin. With a growl, he opened a deep wound in his hand. As soon as the blood began to slide down his wrist, he joined the two wounded hands. It was unclear which blood belonged to him, and which to her. Then, Zeph told him that he loved him, and kissed him again. And for a moment the pilot's brain went through a thousand lines, a thousand ways of telling her how he corresponded to that feeling. How their hearts beat in harmony. How she put songs in his soul. How that gift of blood subdued him to her. He was hers and hers alone. And that defeat against her made him the most joyous man on that ship. He could have told her that and more. But he did not. He didn't, because the moment she kissed him on the neck and throat, all the words were wiped from his mind. Only passion and instinct remained. And all the praises, all the love songs that Khorin could have sung her with his voice, he sang them with his body.............Then, exhausted and beaded with sweat, Khorin held Zeph in his arms, nose buried in her uncombed hair. It had been... intense. More than with any other woman he had claimed. He wasn't sure if it was due to what he had acquired as a full Klingon, or the way their minds intertwined, or how he felt about that woman. But it had been unique. And even then, curled around her, his body and mind still resounded with the last compasses of their shared bliss. A pleasure that had not only been his, but hers. From both of them. "bangwI' SoH" he whispered to her, at last. His voice trembled a bit. It was the first time he had uttered that phrase. ~I love you~ he instantly translated in his mind. Neither of his two native languages seemed sufficient to express his feelings. Words were not enough. He only hoped that the feeling his heart and body exuded would tell her more than his words. Khorin shuddered slightly, perspiration cooling quickly on his skin. Lazily, without turning a millimeter away from her, he palpated his surroundings until his fingers closed on the skin he had previously dropped on their shoulders. He had to set aside a few boxes to reclaim it, as the castle had suffered some minor damage. Slowly, as exhaustion slowly took hold of him, he placed the blanket over their bodies, and huddled closer to her.He hadn't realized how tired he was. Not only because of their encounter, but because of everything that had happened in the last few days. His muscles were sore, his freshly healed wounds tender. Khorin knew he had more lovebites than he could ever expect. He smiled as he noticed them, and purred again, satisfied. But there was something he must do. One last step. Something else he needed from her before sleep and fatigue dragged them both to dreamland. "Kyamo" he rumbled, while the hand she had wounded cupped her face. "jIH dok" he whispered. "~My blood" ~ translated it in his mind. "~If you accept me as your parmaqqay, repeat with me: 'maj dok'... our blood"~. After... everything, he should have no doubt that she would complete the ritual with him. But he still felt how a knot was forming in his throat. She could still reject him.OOCbangwI' SoH → You are my loved one parmaqqay → romantic companion, romantic partner. Last Edit: April 30, 2019, 03:21:09 PM by Numen 1 Likes

Zephyr Praise | Klingon Castles | Knights in Cardboard Armor | Private Proposals | Mate]@Numen Everything was heated and hot. The way his hands pulled at her clothes and they wrestled for dominance of the situation. There were soft thumps as their clothing hit the walls of their cardboard castle. There was the warmth of bodies and hands cascading over the muscular planes of each other's bodies. Exploring them for the first time without clothing in the way, with the time to actually do so. Zeph didn't want slow and romantic, eventually yes, but here and now she just wanted him. She wanted him now and as soon as she could get him inside her. They kissed like each one was breathing life into the other. She brushed her nails down his back from time to time causing him to grab her harder and finally, when he entered her in a quick rush of movement, they began to take one another for the first time. It was perfect. It was what she needed, what they needed. After the stress and all the situations they had made it through since meeting this was exactly what they needed. Now, with a slight sheen of sweat they lay side by side. She was curled into his chest, and her eyes had never felt heavier. She was sated, happy, and laying beside the man that resonated deep within her soul. She felt his fingers in her unruly hair. He had put his hands through it so much during their activities she knew it had to be a mess but she also didn't care. A satisfied smile on her face. She hadn't expected it to feel so good. Not just the sex, but actually the act of mating or.. whatever they had done. There was something that settled in her soul, something that was complete now that hadn't been before. It was even better that their minds were joined. They could speak to one another even though they could barely breathe and when they were moaning and screaming too loudly to speak. There was a connected between them that had snapped into place but now it was even deeper. It was something even better, and something she hoped to never lose. It was definitely something she had never felt before. He spoke in Klingon, and the eyes she hadn't known closed opened. She heard his translation in her mind, and a wide smile crossed her lips. She snuggled back into him, she didn't really want words right now. ~I love you, my Imazdi.~ she said softly in his mind full of the love and sunshine that had developed between them. Something she loved and hadn't even realized she was looking for until she finally found it in him.The warmth of the blanket from earlier came over them. She reached up slightly and brushed his messy braids behind his ear sleepily. She wanted to sleep right here. Today, beds were over rated and she was completely fine if she didn't sleep in one today. She really wanted to just enjoy their castle and the bedding in here. The blanket, the warmth of his arms, the scent of their love making. The memories of wrestling together and enjoying one another finally for the first time. Her eyes slid closed and she snuggled against him again. Resting softly there ready to fall asleep into the slumber that her body truly craved. Then, he called her name. Her pet name. Softly, her eyes opened again, though not without a great deal of effort. When he spoke to her, she listened trying to stay with him even though her brain was ready to give up and let her have the sleep she craved. They were safe, they were together, and they were in love. His large hand cupped her face and her eyes held that sleepy happy quality to them. As she looked at him he spoke in Klingon again and again he translated mentally for her. Stating that if she wanted to be his mate, his partner, his love, then she needed to repeat after him. So she did so. He spoke the first part and then she began to speak the other.“Maj dok” she said firmly brushing her fingers against his neck and staring into his eyes. She didn't want to move, and she would do whatever it took to seal the deal of their fate together tonight. 2 Likes

Not because he really knew what it meant. Or the depth of the concept that lay behind it. But it was simply what she had decided to call him. And also because she loved him. And he loved her too. And everything else... everything else was almost secondary. However, and perhaps precisely because of that, he decided to continue with the ritual. Even though her dark eyes lost their spark briefly, overshadowed by sleep and tiredness. Although the voice of her mind, which resounded in his clear and joyful, sounded now muffled and tired. He did not wish to deprive her of the rest that she was deserving for too long. He would just take the time that what was necessary. So he uttered the words, those he never thought he would say. And she replied, as she should, with that exotic accent of one who is not accustomed to the intonation of another language and that dragging the words of one who is more asleep than awake. And yet, when she spoke, she spoke with determination. She looked into his eyes like the warrior she was, but at the same time she stroked his neck, without really challenging him. The touch of her fingertips on the sensitive skin gave him goose bumps. She had kissed and nibbled on that area generously during their lovemaking, because it was one of his most sensitive areas, and she had quickly discovered it. So, unconsciously, Khorin pressed his body more against hers, and purred softly, closing his eyes. Perhaps he wasn't as spend as he thought, he pondered momentarily, until he remembered what he was doing. And why he was doing it. So with genuine effort, he opened his eyes again and sighed, trying to refocus on what he had begun. "tlhIngan jIH" he then whispered to her, but more than the statement it was, he pronounced it as a plea, seeking her acceptance. ~i am Klingon~ translated mentally, before explaining the last part. ~And to seal our union you must confirm that we are: 'HIja', tlhIngan', 'yes we are'. And I' ll be yours, until death takes us away from each other~ he explained mentally, while his voice, his true voice, stuck in his throat. Because he was giving himself to her forever, his loyalty to her over any other. Of his profession, of his family, of his ideals. He would leave everything. For a woman he barely knew. But he felt as if he had known her all his life. As if all the decisions he had made (or had been forced to make) had led him to that very spot, to that exact moment, with Zephyr. And as he waited for the answer which he himself had put in her mind, he remembered. He remembered what he had prepared beforehand. And for afterwards. But it didn't matter the order. He would give her both after she sealed their union. So, in a languid movement, he stretched fully to reach the secret room he had designed in their private little castle. As he extended his whole heigh, one of his feet hit one of the boxes that delimited the inner chamber, and one of the bulwark's walls wobbled precariously, making the small lights hanging over their heads flicker. Still, the structure remained firm, and Khorin was able to reach his objective and offer them to Zephyr. Two boxes, wrapped in some paper. One of them was black and red, and filled the entire palm of his hand. It contained something heavy, tinkling with a metallic sound. The other was smaller, wrapped in white paper with a light blue ribbon, and seemed to weigh barely anything."For you," he grinned, holding them out. After all, it was her wedding present. tlhIngan jIH → I am klingonHIja', tlhIngan → Yes, we are klingon Last Edit: May 04, 2019, 10:11:38 PM by Numen 1 Likes

Zephyr Praise | Mating & Bonding | Love to Move Mountains | Nothing Better Than Here | My Soul is at Rest]@Numen She didn't know how powerful a moment could be.She had been proposed to, once before, on the deck of a cruise ship passing by a glorious nebula. She had seen Ethan get down on one knee, and that he had gotten her parents and his on board. Her mother had been used to block Zeph from feeling any of them with her empathic nature. It had been a truly romantic moment, and one that she had thought was perfect. That was, until months later, when everything fell apart during her nervous break down. Before Ethan had turned his back on her, and walked away never once looking back. The fact that she was so easily thrown away was something that she had a hard time getting passed initially. But, later, she had used it to rebuild herself and vault herself into a position where she didn't really need anyone in her life constantly reminded her that she was strong and amazing. She just... was, on her own. Men need not apply.Khorin's lovely deep voice resonated in her mind as his lips formed Klingon, and his mind told her in Standard what the plan was. She listened to him, her fingers brushing over his cheeks again, brushing through his messy braids. She couldn't wait to spend an actual night with him and she hoped that she would be allowed to sleep in for a good while. She wanted his arms, his breaths, and his heart to be hers as long as it could be in the silence of her newly designated Quarters. So when he told her what she needed to do and that it would seal her as his woman until they died she gave a smile. It was marriage, one that she had never had, and yet, one that she wanted. There was Thom. Her poor, sweet, lovely Thom. He had changed, grown, and she had never had any idea of the depth of feelings he had for her. In another life, she would have found out a long time ago and she had no doubts that Thom would have stood by her side as long as he could have. Yet, fate had it in the cards that it wasn't to be. And perhaps, that was because Khorin was waiting for her out there in the universe somewhere. Zeph did believe in fate, she believed that things happened for reasons and it wasn't always something that you understood or knew. She hoped that there was someone out there for Thom too. Someone that would meld with him and open him up and be this amazing person for him. But, she wasn't that person. Her heart beat Klingon.“Hl-ja, tl..ln...gan” she said sounding out the various parts that she could as best as she could hoping it was correct enough to do what they both wanted. Until death, they were together, until death they would not part. She smiled lovingly at him and pulled him into a long and slow kiss. A kiss to seal the deal. Her parents would go nuts, married, after disappearing for so long. Not even a Betazoid marriage but a Klingon one. But, then she realized they would likely not know until the Theurgy was off the most-wanted list. She couldn't contact them. They still believed her to be out on covert ops, and.. it was best they continued to think that way since she was technically still on one.He reached out for something, and Zeph shifted to allow him more room. She thought it was about to all come down on them when he accidentally nudged one of the boxes and the lights over head began to shake, but everything settled well enough, and the box fort was still in tact. Finally, he came back to his normal shape and showed her two boxes. One was large, and something inside made noise, the other was smaller. She picked up the smaller one first and carefully opened the paper. “I didn't get you anything.” she said softly as she opened the present to find the spiky savi plant that he had pinned to his lapel during the battle there. It was a bit wilted, but still the leaf lay there with it's black sap.. it's cells, some seeds, and the information she would need to take the samples she had gotten herself up to a new plant. A smile crossed her face.“Thank you.” she said with a bright smile. It was a plant, it was HER plant, and it was something that he had gotten just for her.Sitting up a bit, she picked up the other box. Bigger, heavier, and definitely metal within, she unwrapped the black and red paper placing it carefully to the side because she wanted to use them later for something. Opening the large box she found a metallic broach inside. A pin that she could wear on her uniform or shirt and one she felt like likely had Klingon meaning because of how it was made. It looked like it could probably be used as a weapon if necessary. Still, she smiled softly and picked it up out of the soft bedding it had been laying in.“Is it Klingon?” she asked softly as she released the very sharp pin on the back of the broach and pinned it to her tank top. It was heavier than it looked, definitely sturdy, but there was some sort of beauty to it none the less. “I love it, thank you.” she said with a bright smile as she leaned forward and kissed him again. Long, and hard, and slow. They fell back to the ground of the cardboard castle making out only... a large yawn punctuated the kiss and caused it to stop. Zeph giggled a bit, at the broken kiss, and the broken moment, but... she was so tired and that wasn't going to get any better until she was able to get some sleep.“Will, you hold me? All night? Like on the Versant?” she whispered softly as she slid close to him and snuggled into his chest as though he was a giant teddy bear. Her head resting on his bicep as she did so. Feeling so small, so fragile against his chest, in his arms she was so much smaller than him. He practically swallowed her, but, she didn't mind. She loved the feeling actually.“Sleep well .. my heart.” 2 Likes

Praise Quarters| Deck 8 | USS Theurgy | In transit to Aldea][Show/Hide]Att: @BZ When Zephyr spoke the words, slowly and carefully pronouncing each syllable, Khorin's pulse quickened. Zephyr would have a hard time trying to make herself understood in the First City, but that didn't matter to him right then. The statement was clear enough, the intention plain... She was Klingon, as much as he was. Due she owned his heart. His and hers beat in unison, pounding at the same rhythm, singing the same song. She looked at him and he felt that he was breathless and could only grin like a fool. Even though she pulled him out to seal their bond with a slow kiss, he keep smiling. And he didn't care to make a fool of himself. He was happy. More than ever. It seemed almost impossible all that had happened in the last few days. Everything that had changed in his life. Khorin had been abducted and had obtained what he had always wanted, a Klingon body for his Klingon mind. And he had found something he had not expected, but which had become the most important, the most precious thing he possessed. His parmaqqay. Her Imzadi. The name did not matter. Zephyr.Just her.So, although it mattered little then, he handed her the presents he had prepared. It was a small trifle, and he planned to deliver it before... all that had happened. If he was sincere with himself nothing had gone as planned, but, at the same time, it had been far better than expected. When she apologized for not bringing him any presents, he simply shook his head and kissed her on the forehead, still with a grin. "It's ok. I just need you around." His smile twisted into a slightly impish grimance as his chin pointed around them. "Besides, I just built a castle in the middle of your quarters, I think I've given myself enough gifts today" he added with low chuckle while he sat down. He observed how she picked up the boxes and selected the smallest one. Khorin leaned forward, almost more excited than she was, his eyes moving in rapid succession between the box and her face. Zeph however took things calmly, unwrapping the gift slowly and without breaking the paper, which only increased his excitement. When she finally discovered the Savi plant and her face lit up with the most precious of all smiles, Khorin felt he had received the best gift he could ever expect. So much so that he didn't even respond to her gratefulness, but rather kept watching her, rocking slightly back and forth waiting for the second gift to be opened. Zephyr entertained herself even more with this larger box. After what seemed like an eternity to the Klingon, she dropped the brooch in her hand and began to study it. "Is it Klingon? she asked. "Yeah, it's... the symbol of my House. And now yours, too," he confirmed while she was grasping it in her tank-top. "We are heading to a system protected by the Empire and we are going to meet many Klingons there. If at any time you find yourself in trouble with other Klingons and I' m not around... show it. The name Mo'Kai still provides allies in the most unsuspected places... and sows fear in the hearts of our enemies," he assured. Although his voice sounded confident, the weight of concern was heavier in his heart. After the brief conversation with the Klingon prisoner he was no longer so sure of the status of his House, nor how other warriors would react to his presence and his new condition as full-blooded. But if the name of his family, and the name of his grandfather, could give her a little extra protection, it was worth giving her that safe-conduct. Nevertheless, she couldn't explain his worries out loud, as she interrupted his line of thought with a kiss... and a yawn. Khorin chuckled softly and let her huddle in his arms, while she asked him if he would hold her like he did at the Versant. "I'll hold you all night long, I promise you. Tonight, and every night," he stated, placing a kiss on her crown. "Rest well, my kyamo."Soon, Zephyr's breathing slowed and deepened, and her presence in his mind slowly faded as the dream took hold of her. Khorin held her against him, noticing the warmth of her breath against his bare chest. However, sleep was elusive for him. Every time he closed his eyes and the dream was about to catch him, images of what he had done to the woman with the blue hair leaked into his mind, making him open his eyes to a restless and guilty vigil. Every time this happened, Khorin pressed Zephyr against his chest, like a shipwrecked man clinging to a wooden plank after a disaster. When slumber finally arrived, his rest was restless and agitated instead of the dreamless unconsciousness he needed.
