As she watched the other woman depart B'Nila could not help but wonder if her words had much of an effect. Given that Eve was walking back to Sickbay instead of simply transferring her program B'Nila would count that as, at the very least, a small step forward.

When she was at last alone in her office she picked up a PADD and began to compose a letter to both Dr. Nicander and Captain Ives. It was a simple letter based off of her session with EVE, though she did propose a few more extreme measures in it. She recommended that Eve be given quarters and that she be denied access to her deactivation sequence. This would force Eve to learn to function as a part of the crew and through interaction she would develop the necessary emotional memory cushion with which to handle a greater variety of things.

When she finished the letter she glanced the the chronometer on her desk and sighed. She had been in her office nearly all day and been seeing patients nearly that entire time. And it looked like she was going to have a full day the next day as well. She sighed and leaned back in her chair, not certain if she was really ready to get up and go back to her quarters.

After a long moment she pulled herself to her feet and out of her office door, pressing the lock command on the panel just outside the door. She was tired, yet she dreaded her own bed.
