CHO5: S [D06|1011] What He Does Next Will Amaze You

[ Y'Lev | Adjoining Jefferies Tubes | Deck 8 | USS Theurgy ] @Multificionado  @FollowTomorrow

Scrambling aimlessly through the seemingly endless Jefferies tubes of the USS Theurgy was beginning to remind Y’Lev of some particularly uncomfortable memories of a training exercise he had been forced to endure many years ago, back in Outpost Three of the Syndicate’s main training network. It was one of the numerous routine trials that the newly recruited Orion agents of the Syndicate would be required to endure, before being permitted to progress for formal training. One of the many, but universally the most nauseating to reminisce on.

The trial involved a labyrinth of pitch black, ever-changing passages and pathways, with mirrored walls and countless traps, with the occasional pinprick of light that echoed off of every surface just enough to provide the most crushing sense of false hope. Yet the test was no trial of navigation or direction; there was no exit unless permitted by the operator. The trial was designed to be a test of endurance, patience and perseverance. A test of an agent’s ability to last in almost complete darkness, with no food or water, energy constantly waning in the face of a seemingly impossible directive. Passing the test didn’t take any specific skills other than the sheer ability to keep going, against all odds. Y’Lev had been in the labyrinth for forty-seven hours and thirty-nine minutes before he was registered as a successful candidate and was granted reprieve.

It was a trial that lingered in the back of his mind for years to come.

Whilst the Jefferies tubes aboard the USS Theurgy were hardly anything remotely taxing in comparison to the Syndicate's labyrinth, he was reminded of the tedious feeling of hopelessness, as he lent himself back against the side of one of the many tunnels he had crawled through, inspecting the scuffed skin on his delicate hands with a somber expression. To make his task that much more difficult than having to ‘simply’ navigate through the uncharted intestines of the damned dreadnaught, some reprehensible wilt of a grey-shoulder had elected to seal the Jefferies tubes, locking every single hatch that stood between him and his quarry, and placing force fields around several ship systems that the Orion had no interest in tampering with.

But since he’d not yet been caught… He could only assume that the breakout had provided the delightful distraction he had hoped it would.

But it had certainly been necessary… With every single hatch in the warren sealed, every half-dozen meters warranted a manual override that the Orion simply did not have time for; having to interfere with the locking mechanism and physically heave open the doors with the manual release handles at every turn was beginning to test his willpower. Whoever ordered the lockdown was just begging for a drop of Atropa belladonna in his or her tea… Y’Lev did so love the plant’s lengthy effects when applied for human consumption… The violent hallucinations were so entertaining to witness. It was one of his favourite plants from the Outpost’s garden; he kept a handful of seeds on him at all times, just in case he had the opportunity to practice some botany…

A sinisterly attractive smirk blossomed upon his lips at the thought, his crawling halting as he approached yet another hatch interrupting his progress. He had been keeping close attention to his location, and he had definitely reached deck eight, his destination, yet in some ways, the crawling through seemingly acres of Jefferies tubes was the easier half; Actually finding the computer core was another matter. There were also the added difficulties of gaining access to the core, and completing the data extraction, without alerting any of the ship security in the process…

One of his more challenging assignments to be sure; he wasn’t the courtesan of anyone aboard the Theurgy, which made getting past security that little bit tougher. Plus, it was a Starship. Killing them would be fairly messy… Not particularly discreet.

His mind wandering as it was, Y'Lev almost failed to notice that the design was far different to what he had been accustom to; with a single hatch that opened outwards, as opposed to doors that retracted to either side. Testing the hatch just a fraction allowed his keen skin to feel a slither of much brighter light peeking through the edge of the frame; an Oasis in comparison to the dimness of the Jefferies tubes that were beginning to make him feel wilted. It appeared as though he had finally reached the end of his back-breaking crawl…

Opening the access point with one smooth swing, Y’Lev deliberately stepped out of the tube and straightened himself up, his body practically mewling with agreement at being out of the confined space. Y’Lev didn’t take so much as a glance around him before he softly shut the hatch and strode out into the corridor, glancing down at a PADD in his hands that he had discovered discarded in one of the junctions in the Jefferies tube, as though it had been abandoned in the onset of a sudden emergency. He walked past a scarce few crewmen who were working on damaged systems in the corridor, but nobody paid him the slightest heed; a Bellerophon prisoner who’d escaped as part of an armed mob, didn’t present themselves as calmly walking through a corridor on a PADD. Whilst he certainly stuck out for the colour of his skin, he was relying on the insufferable civility of Starfleet combined with their unbearably strict work-ethic to allow him to remain anonymous long enough to get his job done. He doubted he'd need long.

When the corridor became clear of other activity, in a section that was either less damaged or had already been repaired, Y’Lev stopped, quickly flicking his free hand up to the console on the wall and bringing up a schematic of the deck he was on. He quickly identified the location of the main computer core, but his curiosity piqued his interest, prompting a slight detour on the system, a furtive glance towards the crew manifest.

It required a security clearance, but that wasn’t anything that Y’Lev couldn’t bypass; the Starfleet combadge on his chest was a nifty little device… He’d obtained it from the Syndicate safehouse at Starbase 86, along with his itchy Starfleet attire, and whilst it wasn’t a combadge in the sense that it could accept transmissions, it was able to do something quite different entirely. A false security clearance designed to trick the system. With a swift movement, Y’Lev detached the device from his uniform and affixed it to the panel requesting his authorisation.

It talk an awkwardly long moment to register, and after a few breaths Y’Lev began to wonder if the device had failed… However, much to the Orion’s relief, the console soon brought up the full manifest of the USS Theurgy. It took him a few key searches through the database: species, names, professions… But soon the console handed him a gift that he hadn’t even considered discovering.

A few more taps made his eyes light-up, but before long he had stepped away from the console, combadge back on his chest, walking once again through the quiet corridors of deck eight, trying desperately hard to conceal a sickeningly amused smile that was threatening to bloom upon his lips.

Six had been lost in thought, trying to figure out her after-action report with the escapees, when she detected something. Her systems kept detecting for anything unusual, access from anybody not on the Theurgy manifest, nor from anybody previously from the Endeavour, given she almost made that mistake.

And she had just found something.

She detected it instantly. Her database informed her that it was a combadge from…Starbase 84? Either it was somebody from Starbase 84 who wasn’t fully registered with the Theurgy…or it was somebody from the Bellerophon, who was previously assigned to the starbase. Access was detected on Deck 8. Crew quarters.

Injecting her tubules in a nearby console, she requested, “Computer, pull up footage of crew quarters on Deck 8. Transfer to ocular implant.”

A few moments later, she found the infiltrator. She gasped. It was an Orion.

He wasn’t listed on the Theurgy manifest, so as such, it could only mean he was from the Bellerophon…and the main computer core was on the deck.

Withdrawing her tubules, she disconnected from the ship computer and rushed out of security, slapping her combadge in the process; while she was confident she can handle an Orion, her Borg implants giving her an edge, she’ll need help. And she knew of one other person who could, along with Six, be more than a match for a lone Orion.

“Petty Officer Cardamone, this is Ensign Six! If you’re available, report to Deck Eight! There’s a straggler from the Bellerophon, and he’s heading for the main computer core!”

It looked like her report may have to wait, and that there may be some additional things to add to it. In any case, whatever that Orion was up to, the green chump going to be screwed.

Deck Six! No wait, deck eight with Six! Dyan began her sprint to her location, her tail whipping to keep her balance. It kept her agile.

When she arrived, she had her phaser out, looking fairly good considering what situation she just returned from. Her Velsren sac kept her minor wounds healed. Major wounds would take more time, but she did what she could to ignore them, if they were present.

She arrived, skidding to a halt right in frotn of Six, her sharp teeth present in her smile, almost as sharp as her sindt. Her new, favorite weapon, the arm-mounted blade.

“Reporting!”

Six was also in a run, hoping to get to Deck Eight as fast as possible. She had been taken aback at Petty Officer Cardamone’s unexpected appearance and skidding to a halt. She almost made a Tsunkatse defensive stance at her appearance, her arm blade hoisted, but she chided herself, reminding her that this woman, regardless of race, was a Starfleet officer.

She was still unnerved at the sight of the Asurian, and just as curious; even if Cardamone was a few inches taller than Six, she seemed small for an Asurian, at least to Six. Maybe it was the horns that made her so.

Still, given Orions can be exceptionally strong, and can also tend to fight dirty, Six and Cardamone together would be more than a match against him.

“Glad you could make it,” said Six. “Follow me, Cardamone, I’ll explain the details as we go.

“Now, this is the situation: The straggler from the Bellerophon is an Orion. He must’ve slipped away while the main party was rampaging back on Deck Twelve. He also must’ve been waiting for things to quiet down before making his move, given there have been force fields cutting off every access, even though Deck Eight’s a long crawl through the Jefferies Tubes.

“I’ve been tracking him with my ocular implant,” she continued, tapping her red eye. “I have a link to the ship’s computer. I detected him because he used a combadge from Starbase 84 to gain access. God knows how much he pulled up, but he won’t get far; certain areas require high-level authorization. I’ve determined he’s heading for the main computer core from tracking that combadge. I hate to think what he intends to do, drain our data, cripple the core…whatever he’s up to, we can’t let him get away with it. And given Orions are generally strong, the two of us should be more than enough to stop him, if and when it comes to brute force.

“Now, I have to warn you: Orions generally emit pheromones to cause arousal, depending on the sex. Orion females use them to seduce men, and vice versa with Orion men. We need to take him out as quickly as possible before his pheromones overwhelm us, drive us too, well, horny, as they say on Earth, enough to immobilize us. And watch out for anything unexpected: Orions fight dirty.”

It was somewhat straight-forward, going by what she knew about Orions. She was serious when she said that the Orion needed to be taken out quickly.

The rundown of the situation was pretty basic. She knew of Orions. She knew the pheromone was hit or miss with her—certain individuals just had the wrong pheromone. She was unconcerned either way. She was not particularly slow. If anything, she was more eager to shoot than she was to follow protocol.

“We catch him in the tubes.” She declared, not so much a suggestion as a demand. “You catch him up front, I sneak up behind him. Bet’cha he won’t appreciate a phaser shot to the balls.” She grinned wickedly.

“Good plan?”

“Replicator, make me a…” He wracked his mind trying to remember what it was called. “Apple and spinach smoothie.” Y’Lev requested impatiently, drumming his foot on the floor of whoever’s quarters he was in. With the combadge gadget from the Starbase 84’s safe-house, breaking into some random grey-shoulder’s quarters was hardly a problem, nor was it difficult to access the replicator system from said quarters. However the combadge wasn’t going to help him get past the two officers guarding the door to the computer core access…

He needed a more creative approach.

[Please specify garnish.] The replicator chirped back at him in its redundantly positive female voice, immediately causing his face to screw up in irritation and bewilderment, huffing to himself as he glanced to the side with eyes brimming with disgust. He truly hated Starfleet technology.

“None. Obviously.” He replied with a baffled tone, letting out a sharp exhale and insulting the computer with a plethora of more colourful terms under his breath. He waited for another few breaths, and when nothing obvious happened, he brought up his hand and gave the machine a sharp whap on the side of its chassis, trying to encourage the device to speed up the replication process. As the machine continued to play sullen, Y’Lev was getting ready to reach into the circuitry and heave out a good fistfull of wires when the replicator finally whirred to life, producing a tall glass of thick, dark green liquid. With a smirk, Y’Lev retrieved the glass from the replicator and set about pouring the viscous liquid down onto his palm, before he clamped the ooze-covered hand down against his uniformed shoulder. The splat was squelchy and uncomfortable, seeping out between his fingers and contrasting a few shades darker than his green-toned skin.

It was convincing enough to someone who didn’t have any expertise in Orion physiology, which he doubted that the pair of yellow-chests outside the computer access room would have any knowledge of. He poured another splash of the glass’ contents over his hand and once again clamped the mulch against his shoulder. With his hand clamped over his fake ‘wound’, it looked as though he’d suffered a nasty injury. Hopefully enough to conclude his plan.

However, he still had a tall glass of muck to contend with.

In the interest of not risking overdoing the wound, Y’Lev brought the glass to his mouth and took a furtive mouthful of the chilled gunk. Immediately he spat it out with the force of a jet, cursing his own stupidity of drinking something that looked like the outcome of an Orion gang fight, and probably tasted not too different. His odd-coloured eyes glared at the green gunk that he’d spat onto the floor, his teeth still wincing at the gritty texture of the earthy tasting drink.

The Orion promptly tossed the glass onto the bed, the remnants of the drink splattering across the pillows and sheets in what he imagined would dry a delightfully sticky smear. The mental image of whoever returned here at the end of the long shift took away the sting of daring to sample the liquid, whilst his feet guided his exit from the room, returning to the corridors, still grimacing and churning his mouth in attempt to cleanse himself of the taste.

After a few paces, he adopted a new posture, more hunched and crippled, panting heavily as his hand ensured to squeeze his ‘wound’ to get the ‘blood’ squelching out between his fingers in a particularly gory fashion. He immediately caught the eye of the two yellow-chests as he rounded the corner with a painful limp and a heaving smear of fairly herbaceous smelling ‘blood’ against the wall, the female jogging out to assist him within seconds. Their sense of unquantified camaraderie almost made him vomit on the floor…

“What happened?” The yellow-chest asked him, immediately holding his arm and supporting his weight, as if she were expecting him to crumble like a sandcastle if she didn't run to his aid. If this were a Klingon ship, they’d no doubt laugh at him for being weak. Starfleet really were an especially cotton-stuffed organisation, like a crew full of stuffed animals at a child’s bedside.

“I got jumped by some officers… I think they might have been from the Bellerophon.” Y’Lev hissed between his teeth, his voice falsely weak and lacking any of its usual sarcasm, feigning absolute agony. “They were trying to get into the jefferies tubes… I tried to stop them, but…” His voice eeped with pain, his eyes blossoming with tears as each word sounded like his vocal chords were being strummed with a coarse stone. It was a convincing show.

The male of the pair began flapping his mouth about contacting a Security team, but that didn’t concern Y’Lev in the slightest. His focus was on the female’s phaser, peeking comfortably from behind her hip, within his reach, only inches from his free hand… She’d come close to support him, inadvertently placing the weapon within his reach…

In truth, Y’Lev had never much liked firearms. The Orion prefered to get in close proximity when fighting, where his pheromones would be the most potent. He would take a gritty melee with his dancerdaggers over a phaserfight any day. Or perhaps the application of a nice, virulent toxin or a hard hitting drug, something to knock them out or incapacitate them with nothing more than a puff of powder or a pinprick. But in his current circumstance, his preferences were not practical. Both were a last resort.

He had a dermal patch on his right palm, perfectly concealing an eyeful of blinding powder. He could scratch open the dermal seal and blow it into someone’s eyes with little more than a flick of the wrist; but he only had the one chance to pull it off… He couldn’t risk wasting his supplies when alternatives were available. Each boot also contained a needle containing a powerful pheromonal concentrate, exposure to which caused immense hormonal rushes and extreme general arousal. But again, he only had a small amount, and no way to develop a replacement outside of a chemistry lab… Even his dancerdaggers, both concealed in the rings on his fingers, would be the final straw. Once he revealed them, he would lose the element of surprise, and possible have the weapons confiscated if he then got caught.

The phaser would have to do.

His keen eyes watched vigilantly as the male officer reached up to tap upon his combadge, Y’Lev choosing the most pristine moment to kick out, swiping the man’s legs out from underneath him with the unyielding metal plate reinforcing the toe of his boot. Y’Lev moved like a well rehersed dance, and before the yellow-chest had even slammed against the deck plating, he’d spun the female around and fastened his arm around her neck, her phaser firmly in his green grip and trained on the male on the floor, green lips pressing against the female’s ear as the crook of Y’Lev’s elbow clamped around her throat…

“Do you want to tell me if this is set to stun?” He sinisterly whispered directly against her ear, pressing his full body into her so that if she made the mistake of attempting to fight back, she wouldn't be able to get any momentum on her strikes. He’d also taken the chance to move one of his legs, using it to hook one of hers off of the deck, to prevent her from kicking out. He felt her tense up, most likely ashamed, scared, angry, maybe… He didn’t care much about what she was thinking.

“Three…” He found that a countdown tended to make humans get a little more proactive in their cooperation. “Two…” The slightest ‘yes’ fled her lips at the result of his second word, allowing Y’Lev to immediately fire the weapon into the chest of the first officer, watching his body flop limply as the beam connected. “Sleep tight.” He whispered again, pulling the phaser back and shooting it into her chest, letting her flop down to the deck plating with a notable slam as she fell limp in his grip.

“Pathetic…” He mumbled, stepping over the bodies as though he were avoiding toxic pools of bile and moving to the door they had been guarding, immediately pressing his false combadge onto the access lock for the computer core. He knew that he was against the clock more than he had been earlier; the phaser fire would have been detected by someone he was sure… But he only had one final door to break, and then he was at his objective. All he needed was a minute, maybe two, and he’d have all the data necessary to conclude his assignment. He could taste the success on his tongue.

Until, a short second later, just as the device started to hack the access code, he heard a new voice sound on his ears, a sound so deeply unpleasant that it was the aural equivalent of that accursed 'drink' he’d sipped…

“Discontinue your activity now, Green Boy.”

Six couldn’t help but smile at Petty Officer Cardamone’s bloodthirsty enthusiasm. She’d feel the same way around a Klingon.

“Well, it just depends on where he is right now,” she said. “The tracker is now…hold up…”

She just noticed something on her tracker. “He’s out of the tubes. He’s stopped momentarily in crew quarters…not far from the computer core access. Don’t know what he intends…”

[Security Alert. Weapons fire detected.]

Six flinched. The computer detected phaser fire going off. It’ll be easier to zero in on him.

“Computer, location?”

[Computer Core Access, Deck Eight.]

“Display footage, transfer to ocular implant.”

The footage was up. The Orion had clearly taken out a pair of security guards and was now stepping over them to proceed to hack into the access lock.

“He’s at the access lock. He’s taken out the guards. We need to move fast.”

She turned back to Petty Officer Cardamone. “Much as your idea of subtle is a curious one, your plan to sneak up on him is a good one. It’ll still be applicable. I’ll keep him busy while you sneak in and catch him by surprise. And, yes,” she added with a smirk, “he won’t appreciate a phaser shot to the balls. Just keep it on stun, though, he’s needed alive; I want to know just where in God’s name he came from; I would’ve recognized him if he served on Starbase 84, except I don’t, and he couldn’t have had the time to get on the Bellerophon so quickly without following the proper procedures.”

She ran on ahead, and within moments, she was at the Computer Core Access doors. The Orion was there, using a combadge against the lock.

Now that she was up close, Six realized she didn’t detect the presence of the pheromones Orions usually emitted. Hopefully, it’ll make the job easier.

Getting a close look at his face, Six couldn’t help but feel insulted. For an Orion, he was hot, as they say on Earth. She had met only one other individual as attractive and handsome as that man, and that was Jack. Six gritted her teeth at the thought; why did hot men have to be backstabbing pricks?

Aiming her phaser inches from his head, she said in a harshly unpleasant tone, “Discontinue your activity now, Green Boy.”

She may have sounded a bit more unpleasant from her tone, given her disgruntled thoughts about Jack being a traitor, but it hardly mattered. She was here to arrest him, after all.

Six talked a lot. Dyan wasn’t sure if anything she said actually mattered, beyond where the target was. Once she had that information, she was off. For a little bit, the two of them were running together, to the same spot. She did not talk back. She was focused. She knew what she would do.

However, Six came to the location and made contact with the Orion alone. Dyan had elected to turn early, take the long way around. She would take longer to get there, and in those precious few seconds, who knew what the battle would be like.

She hoped there would be blood.

A cold tickle rippled through Y’Lev’s body, like the sensation of a new narcotic he was experimenting with, the disgusting thrill of being caught under suspect circumstances. It was so damn exquisite. The knowledge that he had to think on his feet, fight back, escape… He bit his lip slightly and felt arousal course through his body at the thought… Whilst the Orion couldn’t understand how he had been caught so swiftly; he’d only discharged the weapon seconds ago and he knew that the yellow-chests wouldn’t have been able to get a team on him so quickly… But he supposed it didn’t matter any longer.

A twisted smirk blossomed upon his lips.

He was leaning over the precepise of a delightful affray, and his body knew it. His lean muscles danced in delight as his thumbs immediately made a move to run their pads across the edges of his concealed dancerdaggers, ready to unsheath them and deliver a few choice strikes within heartbeats… He cursed the damned pheremonal inhibitor that was still lingering around in his system, along with the Starfleet uniform that was covering up all of the exposed skin he would usually have out during a fight, hampering his agility… Y’Lev didn’t believe in armour; he believed in not being where his opponent chose to strike.

However, he still had a job to do. He couldn’t let himself get carried away… Too much.

The combadge was still whirring against the console, the algorithm slowly overriding the security clearance. He wagered that it wouldn’t be long left, perhaps just another few seconds… Yet he also had someone undoubtedly ready to start pointing a phaser at the back of his neck… Unfortunately, as usual, Starfleet gave him the option to surrender rather than just stun him on the spot. That, as always, was their downfall.

Security… Y’Lev mentally chided them.

Turning his right hand so that his palm was facing up, Y’Lev drew his fingers up into fists, the fingernails of slowly but firmly scratching hard swathes into his skin and shredding the flesh. Or rather, the dermal pouch containing a generous amount of blinding powder, his own chemical recipe that caused extreme irritation and temporary blindness. With nothing more than a cute gesture, he could blow a puff of powder into the face of his captor and she’d be writhing on the floor clawing at her eyes, rather than stunning anything. Unless she had some sort of superhuman pain tolerance…

He spun on the spot and delivered a gesture not dislike blowing a kiss. He enjoyed that particular gesture, the innocent qualities of it, combined with the fact he was blowing a rudimentary bioweapon straight into her face, knowing full well that even one particle was enough to cause intense irritation. He glanced up with a keen smile immediately, ready to enjoy the writhing show, only to find his glee cut short with only the most ruthless twist of fate.

Cybernetic implants? His eyes narrowed in suspicion at the arc of metal fastened to the woman’s face, surrounding her red-tinged eye. Well that was a waste. Apparently the blinding powder didn’t have quite the same kick when the recipient had cybernetic bits strapped to their face… It was like staring down an Orion Pirate, one who had taken to stapling slabs of metal to their chests and heads to try and look more threatening... Ghastly...

“Oh gosh, I thought you were one of those Bellerophon thugs. You scared the life out of me!” The Orion wracked his brain for a different choice of tactic, revisiting his earlier ruse as easy as someone would change a jacket. He knew at this stage, the chance of it working was slim; he supposed it depended on how well the blinding powder had effected her. If both eyes were cybernetic, perhaps she'd have misconstrude his attack... If it had bothered her however... “You got here just in time! I found these two…” Y’Lev began, his hand clamping back over his shoulder and squeezing out some of the green ooze still resting upon his 'wound' and redeploying his agonised voice and twisted posture. “I tried to stop them but…”

Y'Lev chided himself, knowing that his particular tactic wasn't going to have any stick at this stage, the evidence was far too incriminating. He stopped his wilted cover story mid-sentence, sighing and straightening up, flicking the remnants of the gunk from his shoulder off of his hand with an especially flamboyant hand gesture and an accompanying lofty sigh.

“That’s not going to work on you is it?” He chuckled sinisterly, sprouting a cruel curl upon his lips.

That meant it was time to draw some blood.

The Orion had whirled around and blew some sort of powder into Six’s face. She momentarily flinched but stood her ground.

She felt some sort of sensation in her normal eye. There seemed to be some sort of irritation; it was not unlike the sensation when experiencing raw onions. She felt tears well, but she held them back. Aside from a slight twitching, she strived as much as possible to resist the irritation. All she had to do with not make sure she showed it. How did Lawrence of Arabia put it? The trick is not minding that it hurts.

The Orion then made a pathetic appearance, putting what looked like blood on him, even though he displayed no injury when he whirled around to blow the powder. A scan from Six’s ocular implant, activated from what looked like a twitch, told her he had no injury. She looked back up at him and merely narrowed his eyes.

Apparently, his attempt at “innocence” wasn’t working to him, either, for he sighed and merely displayed…what was that, swagger? Did people like him make such swagger?

"That's not going to work on you is it?" He chuckled sinisterly, sprouting a cruel curl upon his lips.

“Nope,” said Six simply. "You were using a combadge from Starbase 84, my last post by the way, and as far as I know, you are one of those 'thugs' from the Bellerophon. How you got that combadge, I've no idea, but I did give you the chance to surrender. Either way, I'm hauling your green butt to the brig."

He sported no weapon at she could see, although it didn’t mean he wouldn’t be proficient at hand-to-hand combat. She holstered her phaser and dropped into a Tsunkatse stance, a cocky yet confident smirk to do one over his own leer. Cocky she can't help, with her youthfulness; inside, she had a feeling she may be naive to what Orions can do, perhaps naive in most fields in general, but in this current situation, she didn't care.

“Bring it on, Greenie.”

“Bring it on, Greenie.”

Y’Lev couldn’t help but grin at the challenge. Every inch of his body was itching, ready to go toe-to-toe and disassemble the bionic woman in front of him with his dancerdaggers. However, his training as a Syndicate Agent told him not to rush into a scrap with someone when he was so very close to his objective. Just the other side of the door that would be opening for him within seconds… In all circumstances, his mission came first.

But the electric urge he felt to run in and slip one of his dancerdaggers into her throat was so delectably intoxicating… On sheer instinct, his thumb even began the process of sliding the ring around on his hand, ready to have it inside his palm before activating it. However, when the woman adopted a fighting stance, Y’Lev felt hesitation freeze him in its grasp.

He didn’t recognise her stance, which was the first clue. He had been trained in almost all styles of fighting used widely by the Federation, but hers was one entirely unfamiliar to him. Y’Lev enjoyed winning fights, not losing them. He wasn’t prepared to go hand to hand with a fighting style he wasn’t accustomed to, nor was he comfortable with using his dancerdaggers unless absolutely necessary. They were the last resort…

Y’Lev didn’t want to start a fight without an edge… He needed to stall…

“Greenie?” He replied with a curled tongue. “Isn’t it against protocol to refer to someone by their skin tone…” He continued dancing with his tongue, running his hands up through his thick hair sensually as he spoke, trying to distract her from the way he slowly pressed one boot down on the heel of the other, giving himself some leverage to begin slipping his foot out, bringing the concealed pheromonal dart hidden in the arch of his foot, with it.

If he pricked a concentrated pheremonal drug into her neck, he imagined that his odds of breaking her in combat would improve exponentially… If the drug didn’t just drive her into a stupor once it took hold… After the prick, she’d have a good few minutes of fighting before her arousal would take a real grip of her. She’d feel a tad dizzy and hot, but she’d probably still be at her full strength for a good minute or so before she felt the hot pinpricks of hornyness climbing down her abdomen…

Perhaps if he could get her to make the first strike, it would give him the excuse to grab the dart from his foot without making it exceedingly obvious…

“But if xenophobia is the nature of the conversation… Metalhead seems to suit you just fine…” He taunted with an open mouth, his teeth nipping at his lower lip impishly. Whether she thought he was flirting, or antagonising her, Y’Lev didn’t particularly care.

He was used to people misconstruing his behaviour.

That was kind of the whole point.

Six scoffed. “Metalhead?”

She took in the way the Orion slicked his hair back. Was he flirting with her?

She did realize she must’ve been attractive; she knew of only few individuals who took an interest in her, but it was only with Jack…

Six realized that she would have to have to get herself on the assault; Orions were exceptionally strong, after all, but they did fight dirty. The least she could do was to occupy him until Petty Officer Cardamone showed up.

“Screw jabbing insults and slurs at each other all day,” she said. “Let’s just get on with it!”

And with that, she launched her attack. She made the first move.

She felt a sort of painful prick when the Orion struck back. Was it her imagination, or did he have some sort of fingernail extended to hurt her?

Well, if she was still going strong, she could manage.

But gradually, her fighting coordination was getting…well, uncoordinated. Sloppy. She was growing dizzy. Did that powder he blow have some sort of pathogen, like the kind administered in a food-borne illness?

She was also growing increasingly hot as well; removing the top part of her uniform, she wondered if the EPS conduits were malfunctioning…

Looking back up at the Orion, a sudden thought had occurred to her, something that took her aback…that handsome green man…he was…gorgeous! And she was equally beautiful, as well…she began removing another layer of her uniform, to show some skin to this beautiful man…

Perhaps his use of the ‘Metalhead’ descriptor had indeed been the best name he could have conjured to describe the belligerent yellow-chest before him; she did seem to blunder straight into his nifty little bait and switch easier than Y’Lev had been expecting her to. Then again, Y’Lev supposed that someone who remained as youthful and formidable as the woman appeared, without the level of discipline and order he retained from the Orion Syndicate, would be prone to overconfident blunders such as falling for a simple taunt.

She did however possess the strength to back up her brashness, and Y’Lev still felt the sting of the first sharp blow she had delivered to him, even as he watched the fight draw to its own chemical conclusion. He had allowed her to get in a strike first of all, would no doubt be forming a nice and dark bruise before the end of the day, it was proving to be sweet, sweet vengeance as he watched her slowly succumb to his concentrate.

At first, as she matched him blow for blow, the pair dancing in a chaotic bout outside of the computer core, Y’Lev worried that perhaps the concentrate had been another one of his designs rendered inert by her physiology and wasted. She didn't seem to be displaying any of the effects typically presented after suffering from pheremonal exposure. So it came as a very pleasant surpirse when Y’Lev had the pleasure of watching the woman strip out of her grey-shoulder uniform and re-adopting her combat stance in  her yellow undershirt, sweat beading at her brow and  eyes beginning to wander to more interesting parts of him than his combat stance.

Maybe it was taking longer to hit her, but she was definitely feeling it.

“Am I exhausting you Metalhead?” Y’Lev taunted again, flicking his head to toss a strand of hair from out of his face. “Perhaps you need to go and plug yourself in somewhere? I know a replicator that you'd make great friends with...”

Whether she registered his taunt or not, the yellow-chest hadn’t made any indication of it, her foggy disposition making her appear intoxicated with alcohol rather than arousal. But, to her credit, she retained enough form to continue her stance longer than most, but her moves became sloppy and uncoordinated before long. Her eyes grew dilated and her breathing became husky and when she finally pulled back and began stripping herself of her next layer, Y’Lev allowed himself a small smile. She was his.

He now had the difficulty of fending off her sexual advances and sending her on her way, before the rest of the yellow-chests trundled down into the corridor to investigate the disturbance. His concentrate had the delightful effect of causing extreme arousal and sexual desire, so much so that the woman was no doubt marvelling in Y’Lev’s gorgeousness already. Though Y'Lev didn't need it to go to his head. He knew he was desirable even without the promise of pheromones. And, in truth, the woman would have held similar regard to a Tellarite/Ferengi hybrid in her current state. Anything that held the promise of sex would have had the woman crawling to it like a starved mongrel.

And not just that. Upon being examined, it would contain traces of Orion Pheremones. No evidence of anything that could cast doubts upon his stance as being simple little Crewman Galo, the Orion who forgot to take his suppressant. Which in theory, if he were to be captured and examined by the teal-chests aboard, should corroborate with the fact his suppressant would begin to lose its effectiveness at any moment.

Glancing a quick look to his side, he noted that the override on the computer core access point had completed.

That was his escape route, to dart in and seal the doors from the inside, leaving the horny woman his own personal guard dog to leap upon anyone who came to investigate the disturbances.

Now he just had to implement it…

Perhaps inside, Six realized that the Orion shouldn't go in that room; in any case, he was so gorgeous that she cannot see her parting from him. She had stripped from her uniform and undershirt and was now displayed in her lingerie. Some of her implants were exposed, but she didn't care at the least.

In any case, she felt so hot, stripping to her underwear was no different than a day out at Risa or Talax, and as such, had an overwhelming desire to be the Orion's. And it was more than enough skin to display for the beautiful Orion.

She felt herself suddenly taken by a fantasy or two, her hand plunged down her underpants, furiously working herself up. She fell to her knees and was made useless by her own pheromone-enhanced desire.

Y’Lev’s eyes furrowed in some combination of disgust and amusement at the show he had seemingly found himself subject to. The yellow-chest had now stripped down, down to her lingerie and very little else. Her body was riddled with mechanical implants that distorted patches of her darker skin. It was grotesque. How would anyone find such a mutilation attractive. She didn’t look all that dissimilar from the Orion Pirate moguls who fastened metal to their own flesh to appear stronger. It was repulsive.

For someone so physically strong, strong enough that she probably would have beaten him in a fair fight, it was entertaining to witness her so debased, so out of her own control. When he watched her reach down into her own underwear, her face glazed with a sickly sheen of sweat, he couldn’t help but scoff to himself. This was something of an extreme reaction for his concentrate, it was more lust than he had come to expect from a victim.

Y’Lev considered the possibility of miscalculating the dosage; he had never really been a numbers person. But he’d never made such a grave mistake before. Perhaps it was her cybernetic systems? Or maybe her physiology? Or perhaps her willpower was simply non-existent… He’d seen chastised slaves behave with more dignity than he was witnessing from the Officer teasing herself before him.

What species even was she? She had a defined facial ridge. Haliian? Perhaps not, she had no eyebrow indentations that were typical of that species. Perhaps a Lorillian? Though again, their facial ridges were incorporated into their nasal pathways… Ornaran? Again, their facial ridges were differently formed and were capable of producing devastating biostatic discharges from their bodies…

He kept her eyes on the metal-chest as he softly moved his hand across to retrieve the disruptive combadge from the access panel, glancing away for a split second to tap the section on the panel that registered for ‘open’.

The sight of the woman’s performance was becoming nauseating for him to behold, to have such a display forced upon him with such indignity. He daren’t look away, in case the woman perhaps were establishing a ruse to lull him into a false sense of security, but at the same time he could hardly stand it. The woman was hardly attractive by his standards, her disfigured form lusterless and without beauty, and her reaction to his pheromones baffling. Usually they made people horny, desperate and willing to play his tantalising games. Never had one forced themselves upon themselves so thoroughly, so unashamedly. Perhaps her sexuality was so repressed that to have arousal so forcibly induced that she couldn’t withstand it?

The door was open for Y’Lev now, the woman distracted with her own breasts and oblivious to the sound of the entrance to the computer core slipping open. Breasts never particularly allured Y’Lev. He found greater attraction in the overall shape of the body, how someone’s body tapered in at the waist and tightly formed with muscle. He enjoyed breaking the hard muscle and making it go soft under his ministrations, his tongue dancing across taught obliques that made the recipient whimper in a fashion that demonstrated a weakness and vulnerability that their body would never allude to. He supposed that is why he found himself more attracted to men than women.

It was something about the resplendent display of muscle, the way a body worked tirelessly to achieve the apex of its own perfection. It wasn’t that women couldn’t display the same, but the Orion tended to find that men who reached their height of muscularity had a certain mindset that Y’Lev found most enjoyable to play with. To take them to the brink of their own pleasure, make them whimper and beg, make them lose themselves for the pursuit of pleasure.

It was a key principle of being an Orion. And nobody knew pleasure like an Orion.

With the metal-chest fully distracted, he took a swift movement backwards through the now open doorway, allowing him to withdraw from the stagnant sight of her body and move to the other side of the now open door. He sped to the panel on the inside of the door and immediately made his fingers dance the corresponding order that allowed the door to seal shut, rendering his horny quarry sealed away from him.

“What a miserable existence.” He told the door with a small sigh, eyes boring through the metal and imagining the woman on the other side. He leant his forearms against the door and breathed a hefty sigh of relief, allowing himself a moment of respite before leaning himself back up and turning to the computer core.

“Now, where to begin?”

Whatever Six was doing, it didn’t matter to Dyan. She had deliberately taken the path of most badassery because it entertained her. Of course she wanted to be the one to spring the trap, watch this interloper’s face as she turned the tables on him. Right now she was in the shadows, waiting and watching. Her tail curled around her leg. Her quarry ran to a control panel to shut the door, seal them both inside. What luck!. And spoke! She was thankful, because now she had that cool line to say, and she always loved saying cool lines.

She slowly rose up. There was the whisper of a metal sound as she adjusted her sindt on her arm to an offensive position. With that, she sprang.

She was a white flash of movement. Her skin, her hair, her horns, her scales, all white or silvery. And she was rather small for a woman, her size betraying just how ferocious she was on the inside. A whirlwind of psychopathy jumping into the air, her feet aimed at his face.
“Begin here!” She cackled, serving up her Sexy Dropkick (patent pending), which was no different from an ordinary dropkick except that she was the one performing it.

Y’Lev heard the cackling voice erupt from the shadows just as he initiated his turn to face the computer core, barely giving the Orion time to do more than brace himself as a solid smack collided with the side of his face, sending him sprawling into one of the walls with an audible grunt. Of course, it wasn’t really a grunt. It was somewhere between a squeal and a yelp on the spectrum of indignified noises.

His cheek burned from the impact, but his swift introduction to the wall had been the more uncomfortable of the two. His body stung from the blow, the impact blossoming across his flesh like a burning flower, yet Y’Lev was far more attuned to pain than most, and shrugging off the sting wasn’t difficult for the Agent. Instead of wincing and cupping his injury like a yellow-chest, Y'Lev spun around and glared in the direction the attack had come from, adopting a more defensive stance as he reviewed his target.

Another female. Another yellow-chest. The first notable feature of this one was the sickeningly curved blade that the woman bore strapped to her forearm, extending out with the deadly glint of what little light the dim room had to offer. His keen eyes focussed on the blade initially, the sickle curve that looked more than capable of rending flesh from bone, before a serpentine tail whipped into his view, his eyes scanning up and revealing yet another species whom he couldn’t immediately identify.

Fantastic… His opponent had horns, a tail and a great scything blade, and Y’Lev was only wearing one shoe.

His first thought was to flick out his dancerdaggers to break it into a fairer fight, parry her blade with one and shove the other clean through her throat, though he had reservations tugging at the back of his mind about it once again. If the yellow-chest had intended to kill him, she surely would have done it whilst his back was turned, a clean kill through his sternum. He cursed himself for even allowing such an opportunity to present itself to her, but his self-flagellation would have to wait for another time. If he was to assume that her Starfleet uniform confirmed that she wouldn’t be intending to murder him, he was safe to keep his weapons remained concealed. It would only compromise his cover and his story if he were to unsheath them at that stage.

Instead, Y’Lev thought about his other option.

He still had one boot on. Which meant that he still had one dose of his pheremonal concentrate, a needle slick and ready to plant itself into her neck with a flick of his wrist. Again, it was another new species, so he couldn’t confirm the effects it would have… But to be so close to his objective and then be pushed away was simply inconceivable… No. He was prepared to use it.

“I wasn’t aware that Starfleet had started recruiting bovidae as Security Officers. But I suppose we live and learn.” He mused aloud, his lips dripping with a taunting sarcasm that he hoped the woman would find to irresistible to ignore. Whilst he spoke, he slowly crouched down to take his boot off of his foot, secreting the needle away in the palm of his hand with an ingenious bit of sleight of hand, before standing back up to full attention.

His eyes didn’t leave the woman as he stood, twisting the boot around in his hands as he kept a slightly amused expression on his face.

“Wait… Haven’t I seen you before? In the Kinervon interspecies zoo? You were chewing on an old boot.” He gestured to the boot in his hands. “It’s not so old… But here you go…” Y’Lev deftly tossed the boot into the even ground between them, his expression of amusement never leaving his mouth, his eyes boring down a scolding yet no-doubt lustered gaze, with his tongue dripping with poison with every word.

“Baa.”

“..the fuck is a bovy-day?” What’s with this guy? She was aware she should be insulted, but...was that even a good insult? What level of pissed should she be at this time? He was trying to insult her, and she wasn’t too sure how to respond. At least when he threw the boot at her, she could react to that. Her arm went up, her blade sliced it. It didn’t go all the way through, but it cut the sole clean open. If a foot were in there, it would no longer be a foot. She pulled the sliced boot off and chucked it back at him, her face in a snarl.

Perhaps she did know how to respond to being insulted in such a way. With violence, of course! She sprinted at him at full speed, her blade out, arm ready to slice. But then, she had an idea. Rather, he gave her an idea. Seconds before she made impact with the green gent, she lowered her head, horns pointed forwards. She would impale him. It’s not as if losing a horn would hurt her very much, after all, and she wondered if the left one was coming loose anyway.

As her horns made impact, she felt blood on her face and head, her hair becoming wet. She’s not sure exactly what she hit, but it was flesh, and that’s what mattered. She also felt...a prickle, right on the part of her neck that met her head. Perhaps that was just nerves on her part. She did like the feel of blood, after all.

To dislodge herself from him, she raised her arm and pushed against him with her blade. It would slice his clothes, leave a long-yet-shallow cut across some part of his body, whatever it was she was touching. The horns came out, covered in blood, dripping down her face, set in a wild, cruel grin. She met his eyes. They were close.
“Baa, bitch.”

From here, Y’lev could see something that Dyan could not. A red, angry, itching hive. In the brief moment they spent, with Dyan licking the blood off her lips in a manner meant to be intimidating, the hives multiplied. Two, four, eight, sixteen…eight? Four again? Two? Just as quickly as they rose up, signifying Dyan’s allergic reaction, they just...vanished. Wiped clean off her slate.

Her tail whipped, and she moved to bring her blade near his head. His neck, specifically.
“You gonna give up here and make me take you in alive, or are we going to fight to the death?” She hissed, sounding for all the world like the Klingons.

The needle secreted away up his sleeve had met his mark, slipping into her neck all the way, before being plucked out again like a stray hair, his potent concentrate flooding into her system even as she thundered into his torso like a wild beast. A damp cough fled his lips, and as he looked down, he could clearly see the glint of light reflecting in a new liquid that had spilled over the yellow-chest’s hair and head.

Blood.

His blood.

She’d rammed into him head first, puncturing his abdomen with the poxy little horns upon her head. His breath was somewhat raspy, perhaps from the pain or shock of the impact, the way the little undulations from her horns had rippled through his wounds. It was an exquisite feeling.

If he had been a human, he’d probably have sacrificed both of his kidneys to her rancid little horns, and any fight in him would have been concluded. But he was an Orion. He didn’t have kidneys as another species would have known it, and her horns had thundered into areas of muscle that, although painful, were hardly debilitating injuries. Y’Lev could ride the pain with as much pleasure as another would ride a caress to the neck.

Before he could move to follow-up his attack however, the yellow-chest had whipped her blade across his chest and used it as leverage to pull herself out of him, the keenly sharpened metal easily shredding the Starfleet uniform he was wearing, leaving a sizeable gash across the front of both the outer jacket and the yellow-undershirt, leaving him with a slim slash across his torso that just about drew blood.

His only thought at the wound was that her blade luckily hadn’t licked at his leather harness.

“Baa, bitch.” She mocked, moving close to him with her face dripping with green blood. Her eyes were wild, rabid, but Y’Lev was looking past that. Instead he was glancing down at the back of her neck, ignoring the way she lapped the blood off of her lips and instead witnessing a break-out of hives that scattered across her neck. An interesting reaction to his pheromone concentrate. Even more so when the hives receded against her skin like a wave on a beach.

Y’Lev made a mental note to pack more bioweapons next time. His trump card was now wasted. It seemed to be the pattern for the morning.

"You gonna give up here and make me take you in alive, or are we going to fight to the death?" She sneered in his face, ruthlessly taunting at him. Whilst Y’Lev couldn’t pretend that his body was blazing with pain, the gouges in his abdomen bleeding heavily, he couldn’t resist the lure of her unquestionable arrogance. She was so close to him, so close that her stagnant breath was offending his nose. One flick of his wrist would be all it would take.

A single flick of his fingers and he could have one of his dancerdaggers plunged into her jugular. He wouldn’t; at this stage, even if he overpowered her, he’d need medical attention before he could complete anything of his mission. Leaving a corpse in his wake wouldn’t serve those goals well. But at the same time…

“You think I’m done?” He quietly teased her, his usually smooth voice a little damper than usual, on account of his discomfort. “I’m Orion… This is barely even foreplay…” He brought his hand up to run a thumb across the cheek of the yellow-chest in front of him, watching her eye him with deep suspicion, but accept the sensation nonetheless.

The thumb drew a little pattern down from her cheek to her chin, followed by his index finger tracing a separate path down from her eye to her cheek. His middle finger followed, but instead of tracing a path down from her eye, it curled into a knuckle, the deadly sharp point protruding from his ring, one of the blades of his concealed dancerdagger, hovering milimetres from her eyeball.

“How confident are you that you can slit my throat before I pluck out your eyeball?” Y’Lev whispered in the most seductive tone he could muster, with a slight rasping edge to it rippling from the pain he had endured. What the yellow-chest was unaware of, was that her blade had fallen just short of his exposed skin, and whilst the Starfleet uniform would offer no resistance to her blade, the fine leather harness underneath would hold it in place long enough for him to pluck her eyeball out of her head.

“Hmm?” He mused aloud. “Not so confident perhaps?” Y’Lev returned to a pained mocking of the woman. “Then I suggest you scuttle off to go roll around in your own faeces, and leave me to finish up my business.”

He had no doubt that even through the pained tone to his voice, the comment would enrage the woman beyond all measure. She’d no doubt take a few moments to conjure up a sub-par retort, before she attempted to saw through the leather encompassing his neck. In that time, he’d stab through her eyeball and pluck it out of her head.

Let’s see your physiology ignore that as well as it ignored my concentrate…

But before any of the above could occur, no dreary comebacks and no delightful squeals, the room became flooded with a harsher light as the doors to the computer access room slid open noiselessly, revealing several yellow-chests with raised phasers.

Before the horned wench before him had even finished turn of her head, Y’Lev employed all of his dramatic skill. His finger withdrew from her eye, his hand simply pushing limply against her shoulder like a weak and malnourished child. He let tears spill from his eyes pathetically, turning the light rasp upon his voice into a dying stridor, installing his body with a seemingly uncontrollable shudder. It took everything in his power to suppress the smirk on his face when he turned to the newcomers in the room and softly plea…

“Help me…”

Dyan continued without any indication she knew of her allergic reaction. It never even crossed her mind that she had been affected in some way. Of course her neck prickled, her spine did too. The adrenaline, and maybe her Velsren sac too, was hard at work.

Her eyes never left his, even as he dealt out insults like he was a john with a pocket full of ones and she was the evening's star of the show. Even when he touched her face, caressed her as he would a lover, she held her superiority.

That is, until he threatened to take her eye.

He could do so if he liked. The pain would be great, but fleeting as it always was. She would have a new one by the end of the week. Ultimately it was a useless gesture as far as battle went, but he wouldn't have known that. What did happen however was that her face changed, her mood apparent, and she was...delighted. Finally, a man with a spine. If only he'd remove that horrid harness, she might interest him. He'd be a notable conquest at least.

Before she could say anything meaningful, others had arrived. She was long used to Starfleet limiting her games while working, so the disappointment was muted, to say the least. With her blade caught under his harness, she kneed him to keep him pinned against the wall as she slowly, painfully, slid the blade back out, carving her original slice a little bit deeper. Blood was everywhere. She loved it.

He then...did something else. He went from arrogant to pitiful in a flash, making her look the villain in front of her fellow security. She had done this before to others, in her own time as a spy. Ah, a spy! Thats what she was! She shoved him off her shoulder, onto the ground, with force that suggested she was actually attempting to throw him and agitate his wounds.

"Found us a spy!" She called out to them, and maybe only she understood the irony of meeting another spy.

The horned woman seemed to take an obscene amount of delight in slowly dragging herself off of him, her blade slicing deeper across his torso than her initial cut had been, drawing blood this time as the blade bit into his muscles. She was a brutal savage indeed. Whilst Y'Lev knew he still had some fight in him, he was beginning to develop some concern about potential blood loss; in a way the arrival of the security team had been a blessing. He’d be patched up in medical in no time now, rather than left to the devices of the beastly woman before him, who seemed to delight in shoving him to the ground like an uneducated ape.

“Found us a spy!” The yellow-chest barked like an animal to the new coming security guards, all of whom looked a trifle overwhelmed with the sight that had greeted them. Y'Lev supposed that to a Starfleeter, a room full of blood and two agitated combatants would be a rather overwhelming site. Oh, how he hoped that they'd have the chance to run along to see a councillor to tell them how special they were to get them through the nightmares... But the woman's words were intriguing to him. A spy… A juvenile word for it. He was an infiltrator, an assassin, an interrogator, a concubine… Whatever the Syndicate needed of him, he would be. A spy was surely spitting on his talents.

Nevertheless, she was striking uncomfortably close to accuracy with her festering accusations, and even though the team in front of him didn't seem to be placing much stock in her barked statement, Y’Lev still decided that it was in his best interest to work on a way to throw them off of his trail entirely, just in case someone up the grapevine had a soft spot for a bleating goat. Luckily, he’d already prepared the cover story for such a scenario.

“S-spy?” He whimpered falsely as another of the security team approached him. “I don’t know w-what she’s talking about…” He deliberately turned to the new security guard, shamelessly allowing his pain to amplify on his face. “My name is Galo Zeshryr, from the Bellerophon…” They tensed at his revelation, but he’d expected as much, it was the meat of his cover story that would hit them hard and drag the sympathy right out of their souls.

“I’m looking for my sister… It’s w-why I came up here when everyone else t-tried to escape…” He made sure to throw in an agonised grunt for added dramatic flare. “Her name is A’Vura, she’s an Orion l-like me, from the USS Resolve, I-I overheard one of the security guards in the cargo bay mention that h-he was from the Resolve. I have to find her…” He coughed heavily this time, as though his lungs were being ripped apart from the force of talking. "T-then she attacked me with her s-sword..." Deliberately mis-identifying the weapon whilst making the limpest gesture he could physically muster. "T-thank you so much for s-saving me..."

“I think you need to go to sickbay.” The less beastly yellow-chest told him firmly, though not without a slight wrinkle in the corner of her eyes that indicated she bought his tale. Taking those few moments to crack into the crew manifest was worth it. “We can deal with this…” She gestured both to the fact they were in the computer core, that the beastly horned woman was drenched with his blood, and the fact that he had multiple holes across his body. “Once you’re all patched up.”

"B-but I have to find my S-sister..." He weakly protested as the soft-hearted woman and another yellow-chest began to move him up to his feet, Y’Lev thanking them for their efforts with a series of whimpers and moans that he found highly amusing. They slung him up to a position that they found easy to carry him in, the Orion making absolutely no effort to ease the burden on them. He felt himself be slowly and awkwardly moved out from the computer core access room, being supported under each arm as though his legs had been severed during the scuffle. He was just feeling to entertained to let the pair know that he could have handily walked on his own. He made sure to squeal loudly when one of them jolted him accidentally whilst moving through the door frame.

“Cardamone always takes it a step too far… Don’t you think?” One of the pair lowly mumbled to the other, as Y’Lev hung his head back. Cardamone huh? She was upside down from his new perspective, but she still looked as beastly as ever. She was somewhat perceptive though, labelling him as a spy. Of course, Y'Lev expected that it had probably just been a blind, baseless assumption spewed out from the bowels of her primitive mind, but he’d have to keep an eye out for her; he had a sinking feeling that she was going to be a thorn in his side for a little while yet.

But she had proved amusing to fight with. In a strange way, he truly hoped that he’d get a chance to try again. But with his dancerdaggers out and spinning in his hands, no doubt distracting her like a feline with a laser. In his perfect fight vision, he also possessed a full complement of bioweapons at his disposal, along two shoes to wear, with reinforced metal plating in the toes and as grieves. He could also happily shed the Starfleet uniform and just fight in his harness and legwear, with his crystalline pheromone-enhanced oil applied liberally to all of his exposed skin to dazzle her with the light refraction after each of his movements. But for the meantime…

Just before he rounded the corner, he couldn’t resist throwing a quick check that none of the rabble of yellow-chests were looking at him,, or paying any attention to him, before letting his head roll straight back, letting him stare Cardamone right in the eyes before giving her a quick wink and a smirk, just as she disappeared out of view.

I really hope I get to kill her...
