Star Trek Drugs February 28, 2019, 07:31:18 PM With the new Science Division book that was released, I found something that could be of use here. A nice little list of common "Star Trek" drugs/meds.It's not comprehensive but as I play both a medic and a sci officer I have use for them. So I figured others might as well. So I'm posting them here for usage. ALKYSINEUsed immediately after a patient suffers a neurologicaldamage, like a spinal injury, this drug usually lessens theeffects of the damage.ANETRIZINEThis injectable drug is used as a local anesthetic to eitherrelieve localized pain or to permit localized surgery or otherpotentially painful medical treatment.ARITHRAZINEUsed to treat radiation poisoning by deadly theta radiation, this drug can be given after exposure as a treatment or priorto likely exposure as a preventative against radiation damage.AXONOLThis gaseous anesthetic rapidly renders patients unconsciousand is sufficiently safe that it can also be used as a crowdcontrol agent to quell riots by safely knocking the riotersunconscious. Both anesthizine and neurozine are very similardrugs that can be used for the same purposes.CERVALINEAn antirejection drug used to prevent rejection oftransplanted tissue. To prevent a patient’s body fromrejecting a transplant, this drug must be given every fewhours throughout the entire healing process.CORDRAZINEThis powerful stimulant is used for patients experiencingcardiac arrest, to revive unconscious or comatose patients,or to stabilize patients who had come in contact with adangerously powerful chemical that is depressing theirmetabolism. A more powerful version called tricordrazineis also widely used. An overdose of cordrazine cantemporarily produce both delusions and violent paranoia.COROPHIZINEAn antibiotic often used to prevent secondary infectionscaused by other illnesses.CORTOLINThis drug helps restore normal breathing functions inhumanoids who have stopped breathing due to injury.DERMALINEThis drug can be administered either as an injection or agel applied to the patient’s skin. It is used to treat first andsecond-degree burns.DYLOVENEA broad-spectrum antitoxin that is commonly used whensomeone has been poisoned by an unknown substance.HYDROCORTILINEA common pain medication often used for headaches.HYRONALINThis drug is used as a general treatment for radiationpoisoning other than that caused by theta radiation. It can begiven by injection both prior to exposure as a preventative andafterwards as a treatment. In gaseous form, it can safely beused to treat large number of humanoids simultaneously byintroducing it into a starship’s or building’s air supply.LECTRAZINEThis drug is used to stabilize humanoid cardiovascular andrenal systems. When given in combination with hyronalin itprovides enhanced protection against radiation.TRI-OX COMPOUNDThis common drug is injected to allow humanoids to functionmore comfortably and safely in low oxygen environments. It works by releasing oxygen directly into the patient’sbloodstream. Each injection provides additional oxygen tothe patient for up to an hour or two. 1 Likes

Check this part of the Medical Department's page:https://uss-theurgy.com/w/index.php?title=Medical#Drugs_and_MedicinesIf there are more to add from the list above, it would be awesome! If you have the time, feel free to do it, Cosmos, or I can do it later on. Just let me know either way? Best,Auctor Lucan 1 Likes
Re: Star Trek Drugs Reply #2 – February 28, 2019, 10:51:52 PM Oh Well that's a much longer list. Lol Glancing at it the Tri-ox compound seems a bit different from Trioxin, and Dermaline seems a bit different but nope. You've got the vast majority already. I just hand't seen that yet. Sorry! 1 Likes
