Story Prompts
From Star Trek: Theurgy Wiki
Fulfilling Story Objectives lets the writers participating in the thread(s) earn Story Tokens from the GM. A table below the listed Objectives will show how many Story Tokens each writer has earned in total. Remember that new Away Missions and incentives to write stories don't have to have any Tokens attached to them. The Tokens are not meant to be a requirement for story creation. They are just a fun thing created to reward writing of critical (and some non-critical) plot development threads.
Rules
- Find writing partners on the Main OOC board on the forum, or alternatively, support each other on the Discord server's channel #writing-requests.
- In order to earn Story Tokens, one of the writers will have to PM the GM with a link to the starting post of the thread that is meant to fulfil the Objective. This means that in order to have an Objective marked as "In Progress", the starting post must have been made.
- The starting post should also show who will be participating in the thread, which is usually done with Mentions (seen as @Auctor Lucan). This means the participants needs to agree on having their characters present for the thread.
- If the Story Objective plays out in the Aldea Prime Anthology, the one who wrote the starter also needs to add it to the Aldea Prime Calendar
- The Story Tokens earned by the writers will be handed out once the thread is Completed, which requires another PM to the GM, who will update the list of accumulated Tokens per writer.
- Only threads that have been written in accordance with the General Rules will qualify. This means both post lengths as well as posting deadlines.
- You may only earn Story Tokens in one Story Objective at the time. This means that in order to earn Tokens in a new thread, the old one must be finished before the new one is started. The reason this rule is important, and doesn't say one objective per character, is because otherwise writers with more characters might have an unfair advantage.
- Writers may of course also participate in the Objectives without earning Tokens, which will be clearly specified in the thread in such a case.
If a Theurgist earns enough Story Tokens, they can cash in a Reward as listed at the bottom of this page.
Episode 01: Advent of War Objectives
The below table shows finished and unfinished Objectives for the Episode 01: Advent of War. These objectives are meant as inspiration towards the progression of the Episode's plot, and sub-plots that happen concurrently with the major story. The sum total of Martok Support Points (MSP) gained will influence the outcome of the Episode's ending, with Martok's continued chancellery on the line.

Ya'nora kor General Chu'vok announces - in a some manner in which your characters hears it - that the House of D'Ghor has sided with Gorka, but that the gin´tak of that House - Rodah, son of Maregh - had made a public threat to invoke ya´nora kor. The ya´nora kor allowed the gin´tak to question the fitness of the leader of a family to make decisions, specifically those that had a direct impact on the standing of the House or its future. The House of D'Ghor was already on thin ice to begin with after past failings of D'Ghor, and openly challenging High Chancellor Martok tested Rodah's tolerance far too much. D'Ghor, however, has just sent a K'vort-class battlecruiser to destroy the B'Rel-class ship that Rodah currently commands. The objective is simple, save Rodah. Suggested options is convincing via subspace to turn his B'Rel-class ship to an intercept course towards the Theurgy, so that Thea can deter the K'vort-class ship from trying to destroy the ship Rodah commands. Since we have NPC Tactical CONN officers available, and they patrol ahead of the Theurgy, a couple of warp fighters could even be deployed to aid Rodah in battle with the K'vort ship. Either way, Martok can acknowledge the ya´nora kor, and make Rodah the new leader of the House. The House of Rodah. In-Character Time: Finished before 0800 hrs. on Day 03

Daa'maq Within the Klingon Empire, the warriors of House of Daa´maq were known to be one of the most ferocious of soldiers with a great deal of cunning. It was known that its members would rise to almost any challenge, regardless of the overwhelming odds that worked against them. While Gorka has attempted to win Daa'maq's support, he has failed, and General Chu'vok fear that the leader of the House - Daa´maq, son of Faa'rag - will be assassinated by his younger sister - Eriska - who's ferociousness is only equalled by how smitten she is with Gorka. Your characters overhear how Chu'vok has a transmission intercepted from Gorka, wherein he tells Eriska it is time that Daa'maq rots in Sto-vo-kor. The Tigris runabout would be able to reach communication-range with Da'maaq's ship if deployed immediately, since the ship is currently in too far out from any Klingon subspace relay stations. Chu'vok would give the intercepted transmission to your characters, so that it might be sent to Da'maaq. In-Character Time: Finished before 0800 hrs. on Day 03

IKS Daqchov Your characters overhear General Chu'vok on the Theurgy, proclaiming with great anger that after the battles fought so far along its path to Qo'nos, Gorka's fleet has left the IKS Daqchov adrift and gradually pulled into the gravity of a star. With mere hours left, the ship and its crew would be lost. It's Captain - Sotugh - is an ally of Chancellor Martok, and commanded a sizeable portion of the Klingon fleet under Chancellor Gowron during the Dominion War. Sotugh led the House of DachoH, one of the Great Klingon Houses, and if lost, it would not just be a loss of a great warrior, but a voice in the High Council once the Theurgy gets there with Martok. With little time to spare, have your characters run to the available Argo-shuttle Tesla and do SAR (Search-and-Rescue). Save Sotugh and any survivors on the Vor'cha-class IKS Daqchov before it's too late.

An Unknown Grandson? Torg, son of Kormog, was the head of the House of Torg and a member of the Klingon High Council. Torg was a political ally of the House of Duras, and adopted Ja'rod, son of Lursa (and named after his grandfather) into his house after Lursa and her sister B'Etor were slain by the crew of the USS Enterprise-D in the year 2371. Ja'rod - having fallen out of favour with Torg - has managed to contact Chu'vok on the Theurgy, and claims that Martok's son Drex is actually not childless. Evidently, unbeknownst to Martok, Drex had a child with Ja'rod's twin sister - Jo'reh. Since the sister was of House Duras, neither her nor Drex had made their wedlock public because of the lasting feud between their Houses. The son - M'ven, son of Drex - is merely eight years old, and allegedly Gorka has just learned of his existence from Torg. Killing M'ven would serve Gorka in how Martok's lineage would continue to be believed ended. Ja'rod seem to have revealed the existence of M'ven to Chu'vok out of spite towards Torg, and suggested that both Jo'reh and M'ven have escaped the House of Duras, and hide on a ship in the uninhabitable system Epsilon Monocerotis, which is just out of the way for the Theurgy's path towards Qo'nos. A Type 11 shuttle or a warp fighter could get there. Trap or truth? Have your characters find out. Since it might be a trap, Chu'vok has refrained from informing Martok, so as he might not do anything drastic and play into Torg's potential plot. Blood Debt Delayed A blood debt is a Klingon custom in which, after being dishonored, a Klingon warrior seeks to regain his honor by killing the person responsible for their dishonor. Since Martok has quickly assembled the force of 200 Klingons that will be brought to the First City by the Theurgy, any preciding 'bad bloood' between these Klingons wasn't taken into proper account. Therefore, your characters will have to intervene between two Klingons and convince them to make peace until after Martok has secured his position as High Chancellor. Optional: Perhaps a Klingon has a blood debt with a character in the crew? In-Character Time: Finished before 0800 hrs. on Day 03

The Klingon Admirer An old aquaintance of one character appears among the 200 Klingons aboard the Theurgy. The Klingon in question is completely infatuated with this male or female character, and those feelings might not be entirely reciprocated... Another character might have to help the first in dissuading the warrior in his attempts to woo him/her. In-Character Time: Finished before 0800 hrs. on Day 03

Klin zha Challenge! Klin zha (or tlhInja) is the Klingon stylized game of strategy, akin to chess or the Romulan game latrunculo. A bet is made over whether or not an alleged Klingon Klin zha master can be defeated. One character is challenged, the other helps the first to cheat, or detects how the 'master' cheating, questioning his honour. Outcome open! In-Character Time: Finished before 0800 hrs. on Day 03

Remnant Borg Code During the preparation of the Allegiant for its mission aboard the Erudite, an auxillary system is diagnosed, which trigger a remnant Borg code/virus in the Allegiant's computer core. Even if properly isolated in some part of the scoutship's systems, it requires a hard-wire bypass of that component, and a replacement. This becomes a matter of urgency since some Savi spokesperson on the Erudite makes it very clear that the Allegiant may not dock if the Borg-component isn't removed. Stranded II: Ghost City Captive For some reason, perhaps during a rover excursion into the Beyond - outside Aldea Prime's city outskirts - your character has been captured by a pirate gang and brought into one of the Ghost Cities. Having been on shoreleave and off-duty, this has failed to register aboard the Theurgy until the imminent departure. In a mere hour, Security will have to beam down, track where the crewmember was taken in the Beyond, and then liberate him from the pirate gang. In-Character Time: Day 01, before 1300 hrs.

Stranded III: Off Planet Two characters are on an away-mission, perhaps of scientific nature or one of exploration in the Epsilon Mynos System. Due to the situation in the shuttle, be it that they are in EVA suits or they are preoccupied with something in the aft compartments of the craft, they miss the Yellow Alert. A fighter or shuttle pilot has be deployed in order to make on-site contact with the two officers. Then, they are all in a real hurry to get back to the Theurgy before 1300 hrs. In-Character Time: Day 01, before 1300 hrs.

Stowaway I: The Love Interest It might just be that one of the crew happened to slip an Aldean into his or her quarters, and missed the fact that the Theurgy went to Yellow Alert. While the Aldean might have the security clearance to know the Theurgy was docked at Aldea, his or her Aldean life-sign might ping Thea's internal sensors, and the poor lover will have to leave the ship immediately. In-Character Time: Day 01, just before 1300 hrs.

Stowaway II: The Syndicate Spy The Orion Syndicate doesn't only include Orion members, but other species as well. Alternatively, a real Orion made his or her way aboard, disguised as an Aldean, and they are intercepted just before the Theurgy leaves the planet. Either the spy gets killed in the commotion, a shot-out of some sort, or s/he beams off when they realise they have been caught. Either way, this spy doesn't stay aboard. In-Character Time: Day 01, just before 1300 hrs.

Anthology Objectives
The below table shows finished and unfinished Objectives for the Aldea Prime Anthology, the Director's Cut board, as well as the Parallel Universes "What If?" board. These objectives are meant as inspiration towards:
- Completion of Star Trek: Theurgy story elements between Seasons 01 and 02
- Scenes in the past of the story (ranging from Academy years to unseen events during Season 01), as well as...
- Events that might have happened if things had turned out differently (these are not canon, though).

Castaway II Again, a Theurgy shuttle ends up crashing on one of the Epsilon Mynos System's planets, and the occupants have to bide the time until a search is mounted. This iteration of the Objective has 3 writers instead of 2. Very free-form. In-Character Time: Undecided

Establish Jhoza Deserting Since the Lone Wolf Jhoza deserts the ship and leaves Aldea on Day 10, we need this to be established in a thread. This can be done any which way. Very free-form, but the point is to establish in-story that the total number of deserters is quite low. Far lower than expected, with just a handful gone as of Day 10. In-Character Time: Day 10 or 11

Building a Quantum Slipstream Drive As a part of the tenuous Savi alliance formed between the Theurgy and their former enemies, the Theurgy has been given schematics and construction guides for a benamite quantum slipstream drive. It is unknown how well it might preform with just a regular Starfleet warp core instead of a Savi ZPE reactor, but the attempt is made to fit the technology on the Theurgy. Please consult the write-up about the quantum slipstream drive on the Versant, which can be found here. This effort should involve more characters and divided between collecting materials and actually building the thing. I will write Thea, Ectand and/or Ives as required, but it's the other writers that drive the completion of this objective. Remember that any trials or tests of the technology may have to wait until after the Aldea Prime Anthology, and the Theurgy will only have a limited beyond-warp capability given the difficulties to make Savi and Federation tech cooperate. In-Character Time: Day 21

Castaway A Theurgy shuttle ends up crashing on one of the Epsilon Mynos System's planets, and the occupants have to bide the time until a search is mounted. Communications and beacon destroyed, perhaps? Very free-form. They do observe, however, that a small Klingon ship first moves to aid the shuttle, but then ends up abandoning the shuttle where it is, suggesting that whoever was on the Klingon ship didn't support Martok's decision to aid the Theurgy. In-Character Time: Undecided

Yacht Party! With the opinions of the Theurgy crew improving, the Aldeans have allowed the crew the use of a large ocean yacht for a day and night of relaxation and frivolities. The offer could be answered by any (group) in the crew who has shoreleave and/or a reason to celebrate something. It could be a wedding, a birthday or a Department Head taking some of their officers on a pleasure cruise. The yacht is crewed by Aldeans with the right security clearance that allows the crew not having to pose as Aldeans. Details surrounding the ship and the accommodations aboard is up to the writers, but it could be a good idea to have the yacht fitted with UV shield tech since they are outside of Aldea Prime. In-Character Time: Free (Before Aldean Kaijus Rising!)
