On this page, you can find Story Prompts, Writing Prompts and Token Rewards. Story Prompts are optional story-related sub-plots, while Writing Prompts are just general non-detailed writing ideas. Both lets the writers earn Tokens from the GM. A table below the listed Prompts will show how many Tokens each writer has earned in total. Remember that new Away Missions and incentives to write stories don't have to have any Tokens attached to them. The Tokens are not meant to be a requirement for story creation. They are just a fun thing created to reward writing of some plot development threads, to encourage those unable to come up with plot ideas of their own.

Rules

  • When considering a Prompt below, find writing partners via PMs or through the Main OOC board on the forum, or alternatively, check for interest on the Discord server's channel #writing-requests.
  • In order to earn Tokens, one of the writers will have to PM the GM with a link to the starting post of the thread that is meant to fulfil the Prompt. This means that in order to have a Prompt marked as "In Progress," the starting post must have been made.
  • Prompts are not to be written using Joint-Posts.
  • The starting post must:
    • Show the posting order for the participants in an OOC note.
    • Show who will be participating in the thread, which is usually done with Mentions (seen as @Brutus). This means the participants must agree on having their characters present for the thread.
    • Show who of those participating are eligible for Tokens (since a writer can only earn Tokens from one Prompt at a time)
  • The one who writes the starter must also add the link to any affiliated Calendar page for the board the Prompt belongs to.
  • The Tokens earned by the writers will be handed out once the thread is Completed. It is only Completed by sending another PM to the GM via the Forum, who will update the list of accumulated Tokens per writer and mark the Prompt as Complete.
  • As of Interregnum 01-02, all Prompts must have a posting order. If a writer does not abide by the General Rules and post within 10 days when it is his/her turn, the sum total of Tokens earned in the Prompt will be deducted by one (1) Token each time that happens for that writer. On the 8th day, the next poster in the order is always free to NPC the character of the wayward writer in his/her own post. In this case, the deadline of 10 days begins as of that 8th day. This is to ensure steady progress of the Prompt.
  • You may only earn Tokens in one (1) Story Prompt at a time. This means that in order to earn Tokens in a new thread, the old one must be Completed before the new one is started. The reason this rule is important - and doesn't say one Prompt per character - is because otherwise writers with more characters might have an unfair advantage.
  • Writers may participate in two (2) Story Prompts at the same time, but as stated above, only one will allow the writer to earn Tokens. Which Prompt that is must be clearly specified in the starting post of an Prompt in such a case.
  • There are no restrictions on of number of Writing Prompts (not Story Prompts) you partake in, since they don't grant a high amount of Tokens.

If a Theurgist earns enough Tokens, they can cash in a Reward as listed at the bottom of this page.

Episode Two: Cosmic Imperative Prompts

The table below shows available and unfinished Prompts for Episode 02: Cosmic Imperative. These prompts are meant to inspire the progression of the episode's plot and sub-plots that happen concurrently with the major story. Due to the nature of the episode, with the five chapters occurring simultaneously, writers may only choose the story prompts that are relegated to their chapter. Keep in mind, none of the prompts may be started until after the completion of activity within the chapter starters AND after at least one of the main chapter mission threads has been started.

Though the Savi have served as allies and support for some time now, the hitchhike aboard the Erudite is an unprecedented opportunity to either further the friendship and alliance between the Savi and the Theurgy crew or to learn from them, and by learn, scan and absorb the information gleaned from access to their technology. Of course, the Savi won't take too kindly to this should this route be taken.
  • In-Character Time: Day 01. Thread may occur early during the hitchhike or later, depending on whether writers from Ch 1, 4, or 5 wish to participate (though writers in Ch 1 and 5 must understand they will be aboard the Erudite between one and two hours total).
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post must begin after the chapter starters.
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • Friend route taken: establish a rapport with key Savi individuals to use as an avenue to gaining data and schematics on their technology
    • "Friend" route taken: covertly scan and download data for at least three separate pieces of technology without getting caught
  • Desiderata | To earn Tokens, the amount for each marked as [ X ] Tokens:
    • [ 1 ] The first posts contain the writers deciding on a plan (friend or "friend") route
    • [ 1 ] Friend route: at least one or two Savi are befriended (NPC them), and trust is gained to the degree they are willing to hand over data and schematics on their technology. "Friend" route: writers are able to covertly scan at least three different pieces of technology without getting caught.
    • [ 1 ] The data is safely stored for later download on Theurgy OR safely transmitted back to Theurgy without causing discord with the Savi.

The Milles Fois of Deception | Chapter 1
Sometime during the mission to infiltrate the Romulan Research and Development facility, Theurgy crew encounters a mixed group of supposed defectors seeking asylum with the Theurgy crew and, through them, the Federation.
  • In-Character Time: Day 01. Thread may occur after 2100rs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post must begin in media res (in summary fashion, if necessary, establish how contact was made and where).
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • Writers must NPC a mixed group of supposed defectors, composed of both Romulan and Reman and some hybrid individuals.
    • Must build to the realization that while the majority are legitimate in their desire to defect, there are two other forces at play, one Tal'Shiar seeking to oust and destroy an interior threat (Infested) along with the Theurgy infiltrators and another being Infested, seeking to destroy any and all who stand in its way.
  • Desiderata | To earn Tokens, the amount for each marked as [ X ] Tokens:
    • [ 1 ] The first posts introduce the defectors and establish the reality that more is going on than meets the eye
    • [ 1 ] Discovery of the two factions at play, Tal'Shiar and Infested
    • [ 1 ] Eliminate the Infested and secure the safety of the defectors; deal with Tal'Shiar as you see fit.

Detour for Destruction | Chapter 1
En route back to Triangle, the Apache convoy crew intercepts intel detailing a massive Tal'Shiar bio-weapons facility at a nearby site, with orders to use weapons against Federation civilians living among the borderlands. With the presupposed element of surprise on their side, the risk is deemed worthwhile, and the facility is targeted for destruction.
  • In-Character Time: Day 02. Thread may occur after 0300rs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post must begin with receiving encrypted intel regarding the Tal'Shiar bio-weapons facility.
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • Writers must NPC any Tal'Shiar agents or potential friendlies encountered during the mission to remove the facility from the gameboard.
    • Must incorporate elements of Infested influence alongside Romulan civil war and Reman revolt influences as the prompt is played out.
    • Culminates with the successful destruction of the facility and the recruitment of the secret sender of the original encrypted message.

    • [ 1 ] The first post begins after the decryption of the intercepted intelligence and lays out a play to approach, infiltrate, and eliminate.
    • [ 1 ] Discovery of the Infested influence once within the facility while also working through the complexities of elements of the Romulan Civil War and Reman revolt.
    • [ 1 ] Successfully destroy the facility, recruiting any allies that may be found, and securing the safety of the embedded Star Fleet Intelligence operative who sent the original encrypted message.

The Good, the Bad, and the Not So Lovely | Chapter 1
Still en route to rendevous, receive a transmission from a Romulan farming colony of attacks from unknown assailants requesting help from anyone nearby. With conflicting evidence of a Starfleet vessel weapon's signature on one of the defending ships the colonists have, the Apache convoy crew investigates
  • In-Character Time: Day 02. Thread may occur after 2000hrs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post must begin with receiving the transmission from the farming colony and soon after finding evidence of Starfleet weapon's fire and warp signatures in the area.
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • Writers must NPC Romulan colonists (Remans may also be among them).
    • Must incorporate elements of a stereotypical spaghetti Western (see The Magnificient Seven or Battle Beyond the Stars), helping the colonists defend themselves against a superior enemy using cunning.
    • Works up to the revelation that while the ship used to attack the colony is, in fact, an old Star Fleet Constitution class refit, supposedly decommissioned and scrapped, Takarans have stolen it from a third party (black market Ferengi ring). This self-declared nomadic mercenary group, answering to no government, has been using the ship to damage Star Fleet's reputation while also gaining personal profit for the personal gain.
  • Desiderata | To earn Tokens, the amount for each marked as [ X ] Tokens:
    • [ 1 ] The first post establishes both the colony's need for assistance and the evidence of Star Fleet weapons and warp signatures, though of an older spec.
    • [ 1 ] A figurative montage of helping the colonists build up defensive and offensive tactics against both this current assailant and any future ones.
    • [ 1 ] Engage, defend, and trap the assailants, discovering the truth behind the attacks and handing the would-be profiteers over to the colonists for prosecution while securing the old Star Fleet vessel (or blowing it up Kirk-style, your call).

The Spare Tire | Chapter 2
Soon after crossing the RNZ, the Ranger encounters a civilian transport convoy made-up of a number of different vessels from different species. They report that they had secured civilian pilots to fly as protection but these pilots have not returned from chasing off an unknown assailant who had been using hit-and-run tactics to pick off their weaker vessels for no other purpose than to destroy them--or so it seems. Now, without any type of protection, since these vessels bear minimal weaponry and shields, they request support to travel the remaining distance across the RNZ to (hopefully) safer territory. Since these are technically Federation citizens, Cross deems it a necessary deviation from their mission to help "win hearts and minds" and authorizes the support.
  • In-Character Time: Day 01. Thread may occur after 1600hrs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post must begin after the chapter starters.
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • Writers must NPC the leaders of the other vessels as they seek to help the convoy get across the RNZ separately from the Ranger since they will be traveling in different directions. Be creative in how you devise a plan to support their safe travel while also safeguarding them from future attacks.
    • Must build to the realization that the attacks are being done by a temporal ship from a future enemy faction, intent upon destroying the conv0y that carries the ancestors of the very people that may lead to their own defeat in the future.
  • Desiderata | To earn Tokens, the amount for each marked as [ X ] Tokens:
    • [ 1 ] The first posts must make a plan to support and secure the convoy
    • [ 1 ] Must somehow find evidence that the attacks are being made by a temporal ship and must therefore find ways to counteract this.
    • [ 1 ] Destroy the time ship or otherwise render it unable to destroy the convoy and ensure safe passage for the remainder of their journey

Die Jadg (The Hunt) | Chapter 2
Though Tal'Aura's forces are hot in pursuit, Ranger slipstream emitters suffer catastrophic malfunction, leaving Ranger on minimum power adrift in Romulan space. While vulnerable, the ship is stalked by cloaked Romulan vessels, making repairs difficult to make and creating a greater risk of destruction when caught by Tal'Aura. Theurgy crew must not only find a way to defend themselves against the cloaked Romulan fighters but also to fight back when the time is right.
  • In-Character Time: Day 02. Thread may occur after 1600hrs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post must begin after the Ranger has been crippled and the Romulan vessels have stalked and harmed the ship numerous times (so in media res)
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • Writers must NPC the pilots and crew of the attacking Romulan ships; they should not be nameless plot furniture. Give them motivation and a name!
    • Use out-of-the-box thinking and not just convenient science or lightbulb moment that had occurred to a crew under stress that has not occurred to thousands of Federation members across dozens of worlds when pondering how to detect Romulan vessels to create a way to, in this time and place and not necessarily be a forever solution to determining the location of cloaked Romulan vessels, help protect Theurgy.
    • Deploy means (whatever you determine fitting) to fight back against the Romulan vessels to protect Theurgy so final repairs may be made.

    • [ 1 ] Start in media res already working on a way to defend against the cloaked Romulan ships
    • [ 1 ] Work in failures before successes and ensure destruction and casualties occur realistically considering the circumstances (neither side is completely invincible or impenetrable)
    • [ 1 ] Successfully create defense and offensive maneuvers against the Romulan vessels and buy time for the Ranger to be repaired and back underway.

The Hidden Truth | Chapter 2
While still making repairs and resolving Romulan hit-and-run tactics, the Ranger receives a distress call with Federation signatures from a nearby planet. Cross sends a team to investigate.
  • In-Character Time: Day 02. Thread may occur after 1700hrs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post must begin after the events of Die Jadg have been resolved.
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • Writers must describe a unique planetary surface as well as unique flora and fauna while looking for the Federation contact.
    • Establish a strong enough creepy vibe when the site where the distress signal originates looks to have been attacked and mostly destroyed, with evidence of Borg tech at the site.
    • Build up to working hypothesis that the Tal'Shiar intercepted a Federation science vessel sometime before that carried Borg technology slated to be studied under secure and controlled parameters.
    • With their own technology destroyed in an ensuing fight with joint Romulan and Reman mercenaries against the Tal'Shiar and the organized Romulan government, the last of the Tal'Shiar agents activated the Federation distress signal before retreating into the jungles for hiding.

    • [ 1 ] Start in media res already heading toward the planet and establish the tone and setting of the unique planet as well as strong haunting vibe of the distress signal site
    • [ 1 ] Describe the site and the encounter with both the remaining Tal'Shiar agent and the guerilla forces also still on the planet
    • [ 1 ] Resolve the situation either by siding with the remaining Tal'Shiar agent who claimed to have harnessed much of the Borg technology or by siding with the Romulan/Reman mercenaries.

Time After Time | Chapter 2
With the Ranger still undergoing much-needed repairs before getting underway, evidence of a temporal rift appears on different decks, causing certain crew members to travel in and out of time over the past several hours, repeating certain events that should have already happened.
  • In-Character Time: Day 02. Thread may occur after 1700hrs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post must begin after the events of Die Jadg have been resolved and may occur simultaneously as The Hidden Truth.
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • Writers must describe at least three time shifts before the temporal crisis is resolved (think all-time best SG1 episode, Window of Opportunity, or channel all the angst and romance you desire).
    • Determine there is something unique about this region of space that allows these time shifts and establish a way of counter-acting them.
    • Successfully get out time loop and resume regular life and living under the crisis of the Ranger's circumstances.
  • Desiderata | To earn Tokens, the amount for each marked as [ X ] Tokens:
    • [ 1 ] Start in media res already having lived through one time shift and find other crewmen who are experiencing the same phenomenon
    • [ 1 ] Use plenty of sciency science and technobabble to establish the why of the phenomenon, as well as the why of only certain crew, and likewise determine a how to end the time shifts
    • [ 1 ] Resolve the situation and move on in time (hehe).

Stirring the Pot | Chapter 3
Things grow shaky with Martok's forces as Theurgy and the Klingons continue to be harassed by the hit-and-run tactics of an unknown enemy. Tasked with finding the enemy and destroying them as an added boon to solidifying the alliance, and hopefully before Donatra's forces arrive, the writers must use a combination of intelligence gathering cunning, illusion casting, and face-to-face combat to root out the enemy and secure peace.
  • In-Character Time: Day 01. Thread may occur after 1400hrs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post must begin after the chapter starters.
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • Writers must use multiple skills and techniques, drawing on face-to-face combat techniques as well as intelligence, covert, and diversion tactics to draw out the enemy.
    • Must build to the shocking revelation that it is a primarily human-run vessel using an upgraded Suliban cloaking device.
  • Desiderata | To earn Tokens, the amount for each marked as [ X ] Tokens:
    • [ 1 ] The first posts must establish leads and layout plans; NPC any necessary contacts, be they friend or foe
    • [ 1 ] After failed plans, they are able to (using a variety of tactics) corner their enemy and make the revelation.
    • [ 1 ] Destroy the vessel and the crew and report findings to Theurgy and Klingons OR somehow secure the vessel and its crew for later interrogation either during the chapter or epilogue.

The Headless Hydra | Chapter 3
Mo'Kai rebels have been gathering forces on the edges of Klingon society as a result of the showdown with Martok and Gorka. Now, they have amassed several covert cell groups strategically positioned across Qo'Nos and now moving off-world to other locations, all in the hopes of destabilizing Martok's leadership, severing this new alliance with Theurgy, and reestablishing what they believe to be true Qo'Nos: free of Federation influence.
  • In-Character Time: Day 01. Thread may occur after 1700hrs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post must begin with Intelligence reports relaying the location of one of these cell groups to the Helmet.
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • Writers must NPC the cell leaders and members used in this prompt; they should not be nameless plot furniture. Give them motivation and a name!
    • The story should utilize the Helmet and location(s) on Qo'Nos for certain, but it is up to writers if a third location is deemed necessary.
    • Build to the realization that while there once was Infested influence behind the organization of these cell groups, even before the showdown between Gorka and Martok, now they are merely the militantly obtuse leading the militantly obtuse.
  • Desiderata | To earn Tokens, the amount for each marked as [ X ] Tokens:
    • [ 1 ] Receiving the Intelligence reports and determining how and where to respond.
    • [ 1 ] Determine the once-Infested influence and now a continuation of those lies but without the Infested to "guide" the lies.
    • [ 1 ] Figure out a way to either stop the cell groups from expanding or rooting out the cell groups.

Starcrossed Kidnapping | Chapter 3
A major government official and supporter of Martok reports that his daughter has been kidnapped and requests assistance from their new allies on the Helmet. Determining this a necessary use of time and resources to ensure Martok's support, Stark authorizes an investigation and rescue op if it is deemed necessary.
  • In-Character Time: Day 01. Thread may occur after 1800hrs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post must begin with writers receiving the authorization to investigate and rescue from Stark.
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • Make contact with friendly allies on Qo'Nos who have intel on the daughter and her kidnappers.
    • In the process of tracking down the daughter, incorporate a brush with one of the cell groups from The Headless Hydra.
    • Writers must NPC all allies and enemies and have an especially fun time with the government official's daughter (think a haughty rich girl with sharp teeth).
    • Build to the discovery that the daughter was not kidnapped but ran away with her lover, a former Mo'Kai rebel now defector out of love for the daughter.
  • Desiderata | To earn Tokens, the amount for each marked as [ X ] Tokens:
    • [ 1 ] Make contact with friendly allies on Qo'Nos and receive accurate information on the whereabouts of the daughter and her kidnappers
    • [ 1 ] Engage and survive an unexpected brush with a Headless Hydra cell group
    • [ 1 ] Find the daughter and understand the truth of the circumstances then either sell them out to the father, keep their secret, or try to help all parties find a palatable solution.

Et Tu Saboteur | Chapter 3<be> When evidence of a saboteur is found among Klingon forces, Martok requests members from the Helmet assist in the investigation to rout out the saboteur.
  • In-Character Time: Day 01. Thread may occur after 2200hrs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post must begin after Martok has authorized the Helmet crew to investigate the situation both on the Klingon ships and among the Klingon crew as well as, if necessary, on the planet Qo'Nos.
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • NPC Klingon commanders and crew encountered during the investigation (again, they aren't mere brutes, and they aren't all snarling, help to build up the greater depth of the race)
    • Build up to a connection to the Headless Hydra cells but also establish something more sinister and dark: evidence that an Infested may be among the Klingon allies, though they are not the saboteur.
    • Find a way to draw out the saboteur as a method for likewise drawing out the Infested.
    • Determine a way to protect the Helmet and the Klingon allies from both the saboteur and the Infested.
  • Desiderata | To earn Tokens, the amount for each marked as [ X ] Tokens:
    • [ 1 ] Incorporate interactions with multiple Klingon commanders and crewmen on different Klingon vessels (optional for planet as well).
    • [ 1 ] Find a connection to the Headless Hydra cells as well as evidence of the Infested being among the crew, though not the saboteur.
    • [ 1 ] Formulate a plan (and be successful, please!) to take out both the saboteur as well as the Infested.

Deja Fuck | Chapter 3<be> A saboteur and would-be assassin among Romulan forces is intercepted by the Helmet crew. Before the assassin commits suicide while in custody, they give a riddle that, if solved, could lead to a bomb they've planted somewhere within the Romulan fleet.
  • In-Character Time: Day 02. Thread may occur after 0000hrs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post must begin with the assassination attempt on Donatra being thwarted while on the Helmet once a late-night joint-forces meeting ends.
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • NPC the Romulan would-be assassin and any Romulan or Klingon crew encountered.
    • Create a suitably kickass riddle that is hard to solve quickly, but have that riddle lead to another riddle and incorporate at least three levels of riddles with the crewmen racing against the clock.
    • While the riddles are being solved, the motive is established as the Romulan would-be assassin was loyal to Tal'Aura and wanted to destroy the head of the enemy in honor of the true leader of Romulus.
    • Find the bomb, create a satisfying build-up of tension (think red wire or blue wire from The Detonator or The Peacekeeper), and please don't let it blow up the Helmet.
  • Desiderata | To earn Tokens, the amount for each marked as [ X ] Tokens:
    • [ 1 ] Supply sufficient nefariousness from the would-be assassin and the political and cultural consequences of this occurring on the Helmet during these tense times; likewise, work out the motive the would-be assassin had
    • [ 1 ] Create and creatively solve at least three levels of riddles that take the crew to three different places with a time constraint adding tension
    • [ 1 ] Save the ship and smooth ruffled feathers like badass heroes.

Second Station from the Right and Straight on Till Its over | Chapter 4
Once in position near the Hobus star, Savi intel probability matrix determines that vital information on the Infested Scions plans for their next move may be stored on a secondary Hobus Star Station facility located on a heavily protected asteroid in a field known to suffer from anistropies and quantum fluctuations due to the high levels of baryon matter, resulting in mini "Big Bangs" on a random cycle.
  • In-Character Time: Day 01. Thread may occur after 1800hrs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post has Theurgy crew on the Erudite receiving the Savi probability matrix results.
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer
    • Writers must NPC any Savi or Scion/Infested characters that may be used in this prompt.
    • Theurgy crew must hatch out a plan to safely make it through the spacial anomalous region and get past the station defenses.
    • Successfully retrieve data with as few casualties as possible and safely return to the ship.
  • Desiderata | To earn Tokens, the amount for each marked as [ X ] Tokens:
    • [ 1 ] Incorporate established relationships, be they good or tense, between Theurgy crew and Savi while intelligence is being relayed
    • [ 1 ] Using plenty of space babble and technobabble to create a plan to travel and infiltrate
    • [ 1 ] Retrieve data and return to the ship (hopefully) unscathed.

Breaking Chains | Chapter 4
En route to the rendezvous point back at the Triangle, the Hobus Star mission survivors encounter a heavily armed and armored Orion slaving convoy where a distress signal using Federation markers emits from one of its slave-holding carriers.
  • In-Character Time: Day 02. Thread may occur after 0500hrs
  • Necessaria | Requirements are:
    • The starting post has Theurgy crew encountering the Orion convoy and registering the Federation-style distress signal
    • Set a posting order in the first post; 6 posts minimum per writer

Some large story events not listed will be addressed independent of Story Prompts, but instead considered the natural development of the story. The Retro-assassination of B'etath | Tempus Sigillum
The encrypted data package sent by the Relativity just yielded an alert, providing the time when temporal agent B'etath of the poH HubwoQ, the Klingon Time Defense Authority, is to be retro-assassinated by the Infested. The data held no location - just that it will happen on Qo'noS - nor any means to contact the Klingon officer since any contact may alter the time of the assassination attempt, so the Theurgy will have to investigate where B'etath is at. Councilor K'Tal, the head of Imperial Intelligence, might be amendable to help, but of course he must not learn the truth about the role B'etath will play in the future. This is a Tempus Sigillum mission, which means that the mission is "off-the-logs", so there can be no reports kept on the attempted prevention of B'etath's death. What makes matters more difficult is that the Relativity could not provide the means through which the Infested mean to kill the Klingon either. The mission operatives only have a day and time, and therefore a deadline of four (4) hours to find the clandestine temporal agent. Theurgy officers are pre-chosen in accordance with the Relativity´s instructions (seemingly at random!), and they are sent a written message via their personal consoles to gather somewhere. The officers are briefed on a need-to-know basis about the Tempus Sigillum parameters by Captain Ives, the mission data saying they may not make any direct contact with B'etath until immediately prior to the assassination attempt. The oral, off-the-logs, briefing is finished with Ives saying, "Without B'etath, the Temporal Defence Grid will never be created, and we'll have no means to protect this timeline from the Infested. Good luck." Ives then leaves/beams back to the Theurgy to let the team begin.

The encrypted data package sent by the Relativity gives Thea an alert, stating how - if the satellites in the future Temporal Defence Grid are to be pulled back to present time - the project requires several specific components, one of which is a specific one-of-a-kind Sheliak Data Converter (Model registry #961792). Theurgy officers are pre-chosen in accordance with the Relativity´s instructions - seemingly at random - to collect such a converter from a Klingon black market tech dealer. The officers are sent a written message from Captain Ives via their personal consoles to gather somewhere for a briefing. The officers are instructed on a need-to-know basis about the Tempus Sigillum parameters by Ives, the mission data saying that Klingon authorities must not be involved in any way, and that the dealer is somewhere in the wejDIch Quarter. The oral, off-the-logs, briefing is finished with Ives saying, "You cannot be affiliated with Starfleet or the Theurgy, and the information from the Relativity stated that the Orion Syndicate is supposed to purchase the component within two hours, so be quick, and be careful." Ives then leaves/beams back to the Theurgy to let the team begin.

Close Encounters of the Savi Kind
A couple of Theurgy officers find themselves beamed off Qo'noS whilst on shoreleave, Finding themselves waking up in a sterile, white box of a room without doors or windows. They have been stripped of clothing, and have to figure out how to escape. A disembodied voice is heard, telling them that they are being brought to the Scion High Council, which suggest that they must be on a smaller Savi ship and has a greater chance of escape, but there is no telling how much time they have before it is too late.

In spirit of R&R, a couple of characters might have left their combadges behind when heading to the holodeck, trusting that Thea can alert them via intercom if so needed. The holodeck can simulate anything you desire, and nothing can hurt you. Except... when it malfunctions and the holograms try to kill you, and you can't escape. With Thea undergoing repairs, some unknowing rookie the deck below overloads some circuits, and your characters can have a little involuntary adventure before they manage to get out of the holodeck. Naturally, the aforementioned failure targets the safety features of the program too, along with the intercom. No one can hear them scream while they try to fight their way out, or make the program release them after some random condition is met.

IC Having submitted a request for tactical training, the approval message arrives, and you are free to write a 1500 word single post in which one of your characters step away from ordinary duties and undergoes a one-day course in tactical system usage, be it on starships or shuttles. This will take place on the holodeck, including holographic simulations and test conducted through the course, and you are to NPC the instructor in your post. After you have written this experience and posted it, having lasted for 8 In-Character hours - which include theoretical studies and breaks as required - you may add this training to the Special Notes section of your character page. This training will allow for more versatile options at the characters disposal when firing phasers and torpedoes, and you as a writer is eligible to illustrate this for your otherwise less tactically knowledgeable character.

The encrypted data from by the Relativity sounds an alert, stating how the Theurgy somehow have to copy the early blueprints of a "chrono-deflector" and finish the technology ahead of time. A few Theurgy officers are pre-chosen in accordance with the Relativity´s instructions - seemingly at random - to find Korath, son of Monak - somewhere on Qo'noS and copy his early schematics the technology. The officers are sent a message from Captain Ives to their computer consoles to gather somewhere for a briefing. The officers are instructed on a need-to-know basis about the Tempus Sigillum parameters by Ives, the mission data saying Korath must remain unawares that his blueprints have been copied. The oral, off-the-logs, briefing is finished with Ives saying, "Regardless how you acquire the blueprints, neither Starfleet nor the Theurgy can be affiliated with your mission, and the information from the Relativity stated Korath might be retro-assassinated in our timeline if you draw too much attention to yourselves - making the Infested of the future aware that someone is trying to finish this technology ahead of time." Ives then leaves/beams back to the Theurgy to let the team begin.

The Aegis Hearing | Tempus Sigillum
At some point, somewhere off the ship, a group of Theurgy officers find themselves stunned by an unseen shooter, one at the time. When they wake up anew, they are suspended in some kind of forcefield/cage/whatever, unable to escape. A man and a woman, obscured in shadow, face them, and begin to ask penetrating questions about the Theurgy, the averted Borg invasion, the destruction of the Azure Nebula, the Infested, the Savi, the Scions. The male speaker makes it very clear that the current state of the timeline is completely astray, and that 'they' will be watching events pertaining to the Theurgy more closely, since it seems that the Theurgy is the centre of the temporal disruption.

Raiders of the Lost Crystals
Benamite... a rare and unstable form of crystal which was extremely difficult to synthesize. After the Theurgy made the two QSD jumps through Klingon space, hairline fractures were found in the crystals in the Theurgy´s quantum slipstream drive. Before this adventure begins, a couple of Theurgy officers has looked into the reports from the USS Voyager, reading how Admiral Janeway's old crew constructed a quantum slipstream drive as well, at the heart of which were benamite crystals, just like in the Theurgy´s. The only difference was that the design of the QSD drive is altogether Savi in origin. Knowing that synthesizing more crystals would take years, it is clear they need to find more if the Theurgy is to use its QSD drive again. When asking around among the locals, Councillor K'Tal has given the Theurgy crew a lead on where to find more... but it won't be easy. The Theurgy officers having caught wind of a crystal-laden ruin/base/outpost on Qo'noS, the adventure begins with a an away team being on the way to explore it. They will find that they must deal with the place's denizens to get the treasure and get out alive. Little did they know that House Mo'Kai got scent of them as well, and followed them there...

Gorath, also known as Theta Hydrae, was a star system located in the space of the Klingon Empire. A binary system with two blue stars, it was located approximately four light-years from the Qo'noS system. It was famous for the challenge of traversing its sulfur lagoons during the Day of Honor as part of the ritual in which a warrior evaluated his or her deeds for the past year to see whether he had been honorable. A crackly Federation distress signal reaches the Theurgy, contents almost impossible to make out, but suggesting a hazardous situation they can't survive without rescue. A hasty away mission is arranged, in which an away team has to traverse the dangerous depths of Gorath.

Operation: Dinner Out
Lieutenant Commander Andrew Fisher is held captive, torture about to begin in order to learn the secrets of the Theurgy and any others that Fisher might know from his career. The most present example is the threat Fisher's knowledge pose for the Theurgy-Savi alliance. It might be in danger since the Savi do not wish to be exposed to the galactic powers. The Voice might even retract his helping hand, putting the safety of his people as his first priority, and the Savi delegation aboard the Theurgy might, potentially, sabotage the Quantum Slipstream drive beyond repair. All theories, but the risk is obvious. Therefore, it is imperative to bring Fisher back post haste, since everyone has their limit in terms of torture. To make matters worse, Fisher might be executed if the Theurgy crew tries to interfere with Gorka's attempt to claim the Chancellery of the Klingon Empire, so time is of the essence.

Something in the Ale
Brestant, also known as Delta Leporis. It was a star located eight lightyears out from Qo'noS, being most famous for its single Klingon colony's Breshtanti ale. The brewery in the colony produced this intoxicating ale of a clear nature, and it was strongly favoured by Kor - a Dahar Master - who often drank it to excess. The colony on the only M-class planet (named Breshtanti) has gone silent four days prior. Councilor K'Tal claims that shipments ceased... but have again start to leave the colony. The Klingon spymaster sent a ship to investigate, but upon arrival, communications ceased, reason unknown. The Theurgy offers to assist, sending a shuttle there. Upon arrival, they find the colony deserted, and the small House K'Tal ship empty. The away-team move in to investigate, and that is the last the Mission Ops on Theurgy hears from them for quite some time...

    • [ 2 ] A dampening field lay thick over the colony, its centre being the brewery. They head to the control centre of the brewery in order to try and deactivate it.
    • [ 1 ] They eventually find a few colonists and the missing House K'Tal klingons, all infected with the Niga virus. Without any antidote on hand, the Theurgy officers have to be creative.
    • [ 1 ] Piecing events together from surveillance cameras, the majority of the colony was beamed off the planet. Doctor Nicander and a couple of Scions can be seen tampering with the ale, adding a chemical replicator the production line. The freighters leaving the colony are set on auto pilot, and considering the local Niga outbreak, it's not difficult to guess what has been done to the ale.
    • [ 1 ] While Nicander is no longer present, two Scions are in the control centre, and they are not to be easily killed. Once the dampening device is disabled/destroyed, Councilor K'Tal has to be told to that all the freighters that left the colony must be destroyed immediately.

Hidden Raptor
While the Klingons resolve their crisis of leadership, Praetor Tal'Aura is already chasing Donatra out of the Romulan Star Empire with her fleet's thalaron weaponry. The troop movements are clear, the threat to the Klingon border evident, and even though the bulk of the fleet movements have yet to reach the Klingon Empire... it would seem Romulus have cloaked ship not far away from Qo'noS. After Drauc T'Laus has been asked to aid the Theurgy crew to gather intel from the Star Empire, he receives a message when the Theurgy orbits Qo'noS. An old companion of his serves on the cloaked ship, and being a Donatra sympathiser, s/he is ready to compromise the cloak from aboard the ship. This Story Prompt might be best handled by Lone Wolf characters, since the distance and the threat is too great for a mere shuttle. This could be a joint venture between the Lone Wolves and available Klingon forces, but the priority is to neutralise the warbird or send it back to whence it came, since it could potentially carry a thalaron bomb meant for the First City. The mission is approved by the Senior Staff off screen prior to the Prompt begins.

Because of damages to the Brig during the Battle of the Houses, the Klingon who bombed the Spearhead Lounge manages to escape his holding cell. Rov, son of Pekdal, will attempt blending in with other Klingons remaining on the Theurgy while he tries to reach a Transporter Room, where he will threaten to kill an NPC Operations officer to beam him off the ship and down to Qo'noS. When refused, he will kill the Operations officer and operate the LCARS interface himself. If he manages to beam down, the writers taking on this Prompt will have to pursue him planet-side. This is an ample opportunity for any vengeful characters who lost someone in the Spearhead Lounge to get vigilante justice, should they so choose.

K'Tal revealed to the Theurgy´s bridge crew that the Sabine was shot down by surface-to-air turrets whilst it approach the city, and the shuttle was last scene descending into the Old Quarters of the First City, coming short of reaching the Great Hall. This Prompt is about reaching the Sabine and saving those who are still aboard from House Mo'Kai assassins and warriors that have been deployed to kill any survivors. Unbeknownst to whatever awayteam takes on this Prompt, only a few crewmembers remain at the crash site, but unless this Prompt is accomplished, they will die before the end of this Episode.

The Scion Sympathiser
In this least of opportune moments, a Scion sympathiser within the Savi delegation aboard the Theurgy makes his or her move. Having learned that a Theurgy crewmember has been taken captive aboard the Ta'rom, and that this crewmember is one of the Senior Staff, the Scion sympathiser decides to take matters into his or her own three-fingered hands. Just like all Savi, this Scion sympathiser also wishes to keep the knowledge about the Savi Flotilla secret, but this one doesn't recognise the legitimacy of the Old Code that the Voice's rebels adhere to. So, this Antecedent tries to sabotage the Theurgy from within, kamikaze-style, and with access to Main Engineering due to the maintenance of the Quantum Slipstream Drive, this is where s/he will make hir move. S/he means to overload the warp core and destroy the ship with all souls aboard. Stop the Antecendent before it is too late!

With the opinions of the Theurgy crew improving, the Aldeans have allowed the crew the use of a large ocean yacht for a day and night of relaxation and frivolities. The offer could be answered by any (group) in the crew who has shoreleave and/or a reason to celebrate something. It could be a wedding, a birthday or a Department Head taking some of their officers on a pleasure cruise. The yacht is crewed by Aldeans with the right security clearance that allows the crew not having to pose as Aldeans. Details surrounding the ship and the accommodations aboard is up to the writers, but it could be a good idea to have the yacht fitted with UV shield tech since they are outside of Aldea Prime.

A blood debt is a Klingon custom in which, after being dishonored, a Klingon warrior seeks to regain his honor by killing the person responsible for their dishonor. Since Martok has quickly assembled the force of 200 Klingons that will be brought to the First City by the Theurgy, any preciding 'bad bloood' between these Klingons wasn't taken into proper account. Therefore, your characters will have to intervene between two Klingons and convince them to make peace until after Martok has secured his position as High Chancellor. Optional: Perhaps a Klingon has a blood debt with a character in the crew?

An Unknown Grandson?
Torg, son of Kormog, was the head of the House of Torg and a member of the Klingon High Council. Torg was a political ally of the House of Duras, and adopted Ja'rod, son of Lursa (and named after his grandfather) into his house after Lursa and her sister B'Etor were slain by the crew of the USS Enterprise-D in the year 2371. Ja'rod - having fallen out of favour with Torg - has managed to contact Chu'vok on the Theurgy, and claims that Martok's son Drex is actually not childless. Evidently, unbeknownst to Martok, Drex had a child with Ja'rod's twin sister - Jo'reh. Since the sister was of House Duras, neither her nor Drex had made their wedlock public because of the lasting feud between their Houses. The son - M'ven, son of Drex - is merely eight years old, and allegedly Gorka has just learned of his existence from Torg. Killing M'ven would serve Gorka in how Martok's lineage would continue to be believed ended. A Type 11 shuttle or a warp fighter could get there. Trap or truth? Have your characters find out. Since it might be a trap, Chu'vok has refrained from informing Martok, so as he might not do anything drastic and play into Torg's potential plot.

Within the Klingon Empire, the warriors of House of Daa´maq were known to be one of the most ferocious of soldiers with a great deal of cunning. It was known that its members would rise to almost any challenge, regardless of the overwhelming odds that worked against them. While Gorka has attempted to win Daa'maq's support, he has failed, and General Chu'vok fear that the leader of the House - Daa´maq, son of Faa'rag - will be assassinated by his younger sister - Eriska - who's ferociousness is only equalled by how smitten she is with Gorka. Your characters overhear how Chu'vok has a transmission intercepted from Gorka, wherein he tells Eriska it is time that Daa'maq rots in Sto-vo-kor. The Tigris runabout would be able to reach communication-range with Da'maaq's ship if deployed immediately, since the ship is currently in too far out from any Klingon subspace relay stations. Chu'vok would give the intercepted transmission to your characters, so that it might be sent to Da'maaq.

Your characters overhear General Chu'vok on the Theurgy, proclaiming with great anger that after the battles fought so far along its path to Qo'nos, Gorka's fleet has left the IKS Daqchov adrift and gradually pulled into the gravity of a star. With mere hours left, the ship and its crew would be lost. It's Captain - Sotugh - is an ally of Chancellor Martok, and commanded a sizeable portion of the Klingon fleet under Chancellor Gowron during the Dominion War. Sotugh led the House of DachoH, one of the Great Klingon Houses, and if lost, it would not just be a loss of a great warrior, but a voice in the High Council once the Theurgy gets there with Martok. With little time to spare, have your characters run to the available Argo-shuttle Tesla and do SAR (Search-and-Rescue). Save Sotugh and any survivors on the Vor'cha-class IKS Daqchov before it's too late.

Even if properly isolated in some part of the scoutship's systems, it requires a hard-wire bypass of that component, and a replacement. This becomes a matter of urgency since some Savi spokesperson on the Erudite makes it very clear that the Allegiant may not dock if the Borg-component isn't removed.

Arctic Pole Discovery
Where did the Custodian come from, this ancient technology that the Aldeans depended on for so long? The keen-eyed scientists on the Theurgy might detect a sensor anomaly in the coldest reaches of the the Aldean north pole, and they end up finding derelict high-technological ruins of the Aldean people's ancestors, or perhaps even an alien race that lived on the planet before the Aldeans. The conditions of the pole might prevent a beam-down, so going down by shuttle would be required. First Appointee Radue is NPCd as required by the participants, the Defence Council monitoring the investigation from Aldea Prime. Given the lack of other lifesigns, there is no need for Aldean clothing and equipment. The Klingons are on alert to keep away visitors. Mission Ops on the Theurgy is the point of contact on the ship, with an NPC there unless Ducote or Cameron is available.

Oceanside Dress Party
First Appointee Radue of the Aldean Defence Committee, leader of the Aldeans, have invited the Theurgy crew to a closed off, seaside dress party down on Aldea, in the outskirts of Aldea Prime city. The futuristic and luxurious palace is guarded by Klingons to keep out any unwanted guests that doesn't have the security clearence to know the true identities of the Theurgy crew, meaning that those attending from the Theurgy will be able to be themselves and also wear the Starfleet dress uniform. The occasion celebrated is how the Aldeans managed to isolate the bug in the Gestalt Program with the help of the Theurgy crew (see other Story Prompt below). The thread itself does not have to detail how the Theurgy crew managed to help the Aldeans, allowing this to be started before the other one is.

Anyon Emission Protocol Failure
After the interrogation of Doctor Nicander in Scrying Through the Storm Front, Commander Ducote ordered the implementation of anyon particle sweeps every time someone comes aboard the Theurgy. The subatomic particles were meant to dephase any parasites and kill Infested when either entering through an airlock or being transported into one of the Transporter Rooms. The volunteering writers should consist of at least 1 Security Officer, and the starter should end with an examination of the body in the corridor, whereupon I will post the first batch of clues. The perpetrator masked his life-sign using a standard tricorder, which will be found dumped in a busy corridor. While Heather McMillan's transphasic light-ability can no longer affect the parasite in Doctor Nicander enough to free the host from the link to the nameless darkness, there could be scientific and technological means to augment the emanated light from the Radiant - making it transphasic enough to have actual effect on the Infested. In this process, it could be that the unique phase of the wavelength could be emulated technologically. Perhaps phasers can be fitted with some kind of phase variance add-on in order to target the parasites specifically inside Hosts.

Something sneaks by all patrols and sensors, only to be picked up by the Particle Sensors of Irnashall ch’Xinya's design aboard the Theurgy. Once the object enters the sandstorms of the Beyond, well outside Aldea Prime, and nowhere close to any ghost city. It appears as if it landed. Since regular sensors show nothing, and at the request of the Aldean Defence Committee, an on-site away-team is deployed to the location via transporter, and two Lone Wolves are sent to provide air support.
