Lieutenant Junior Grade Adam Kingston was a Security Officer of the USS Theurgy. He was wounded by an attack on the Theurgy by the Calamity in 2381. He was placed into stasis, pending treatment.
Biography
Adam was born on earth in the small town of Athens, New York. Like so many aspiring youngsters he dreamed of life in the Federation armed forces, drawn in by the illusions offered by recruitment campaigns and the drama of movies and books portraying deep space as an adventure waiting to be discovered when he turned eighteen he joined Starfleet Academy.
At the academy, Cadet Kingston got into considerable trouble by being a little to friendly with his fellow cadets, and superiors, especially any cadet that was female. Despite this character flaw he showed considerable potential for security, seeming to read certain situations far better then his peers, and a decent memory. After graduation he served in security aboard the USS Lexington and was promoted shortly before his transfer to the Theurgy.
Despite his rather successful military career it has been noted on his file that there have been a number of accusations of unprofessional behavior, especially toward female underlings. This has resulted in a number of citations against him in recent years up till coming aboard the USS Theurgy. Aboard the Theurgy he has had a fresh start so to speak, and he has used the opportunity to its fullest keeping his nose clean so to speak. He has shown a subtle interest in his female shipmates but has kept his hands to himself and kept his mouth shut for the most part. When they were sent to the Romulan neutral zone to negotiate for peace with the Romulan Empire. Throughout the mission Adam thought something was off about the situation, and urged caution to his superiors although nothing came of it. He still suspects that the fleets would have clashed had the Theurgy remained in the neutral zone.
Adam was and still is slightly shocked about the revelation concerning Starfleet Command, part of him questions how such an occurrence could have remained hidden for so long, well another part questions if resisting them is the right choice in the first place. For now he chooses to follow orders as previously but no longer trusts Captain Jien Ives or the senior staff as he once did.
Personality Profile
Adam is a confident young man, with a taste for women and fine foods. He isn't entirely convinced that Ives' evidence is real and questions his leader's motives as often as he worries about the possibility that the evidence is real. His body is quite physically fit because he enjoys the endorphin rush of an extended exercise routine and up until the damage to the holodecks and the limits placed on power usage he routinely would go to the holobays to practice archery and hunting with archaic firearms. Or even to simply run or play basketball in peace.
