Security NPCs
From Star Trek: Theurgy Wiki
The following is a list of named non-player characters who served in the Security Department during the USS Theurgy’s battles against a corrupt and compromised Starfleet.
Lieutenant David Cerrato
Lieutenant David Cerrato was the Deputy Chief Officer of Security aboard the USS Harbinger when it defected from Starfleet to join the Theurgy’s crusade in 2381. He was promoted to the position of Chief of Security after Sonja Acreth killed his superior officer Diadeniera Drovo during her first escape attempt. He had little time to enjoy his promotion, for he and three enlisted security specialists were killed by Acreth during her second attempt to escape.
Ensign Colin McArthur
Ensign Colin McArthur was an Aide in Security assigned to the Theurgy in 2381. During the infiltration and hijacking by the Harbinger’s personnel, his loyalties were compromised by T’Rena. When Vasser and T’Rena staged their coup, McArthur was issued a phaser rifle and sent out to hunt down personnel who were still loyal to Captain Jien Ives. A gentle soul with a strong moral center, even with his morals compromised by T’Rena’s conditioning he found the idea of killing anyone when he had the technology to immobilize and apprehend people without injury abhorrent. He was more of an administrator than a warrior and accidentally stunned Crewman Dom Fok while aiming at Master Chief William O’Connell in the Theurgy’s main engineering before being stunned by the wily engineer himself. Since he was only stunned, it is likely that he survived to have his proper loyalties restored after the final battle with the Calamity.
Ensign Edgar Rogers
Ensign Edgar Rogers served as Security Officer at the lonely post of Black Opal along the Romulan Neutral Zone in March of 2381. Many believed was he was sent there because of his rowdy behavior and to get him away from his impressionable peers that got sent to better posts. Black Opal was his first official posting as a Starfleet officer and his last.
Rogers was noteworthy for being the most insubordinate of the officers under Lieutenant-Commander Jennifer Dewitt’s command. Ensign Rogers put more effort into defending the outpost than his fellow officers, manning the tactical station and successfully hitting Skye Carver’s Valkyrie with a photon torpedo after Nathaniel Isley disrupted her deflector shield and directing the outpost’s security forces to the mess hall, loading bays and engineering, where the Theurgy’s boarding parties had entered. He was hesitant to accept Dewitt’s order to evacuate, preferring to arm Black Opal’s officers and lay an ambush for Theurgy’s away teams.
He was captured by Commander Carrigan Trent who subdued him and handcuffed him before being evacuated to the USS Theurgy where it is assumed he was eventually integrated into its crew after learning the truth about Starfleet Command.
Warrant Officer Devon Striker
Warrant Officer Devon Striker was the brig officer in charge when Lieutenant Lin Kae was released from the brig and brought before Commander Carrigan Trent to answer for his actions during the raid on Black Opal Station. He was also on duty and personally escorted Nathaniel Isley to the interrogation room where Captain Jien Ives interviewed the pilot the day after Lieutenant Isley accidentally fired on Skye Carver’s Valkyrie. As a replacement for Ensign Connor Matthews, Warrant Officer Striker served in the brig for the majority of his shifts aboard the USS Theurgy.
Senior Chief Petty Officer Calvin Reagar
Senior Chief Petty Officer Calvin ‘Animal Mother’ Reagar was a security specialist and a senior noncommissioned officer serving aboard the Theurgy in 2381. He was veteran of both the Dominion War and the Cardassian-Federation conflict that preceded it. A rootin’ tootin’ phaser shootin’ combat specialist from Proxima Colony, he had seen action on Bajor, Cardassia, and Dorvan V. It was his actions with a grenade mortar on Betazed that caught the attention the Theurgy’s chief security officer, Lieutenant Commander Wenn Cinn, and earned Reagar a billet aboard the Theurgy. Cal Reagar claimed to be the first Terran to prove it was possible to kill a Jem’Hadar with a knife and apparently had witnesses to back it up. During the Borg’s attack on Sector 001 in 2372 he faced the Borg up close and personal and decided he didn’t like it. After that he had gotten in the habit of collecting old-school projectile shooting firearms with recoil and the dangers of ricochets.
Cal Reagar was one of the few enlisted men aboard the Theurgy who had served twenty or more years in Starfleet by 2381. As such he was part of the unofficial fraternity composed of senior noncommissioned officers aboard the Theurgy that included Sten Covington, Nolak Kalmil, and William Robert "Billy Bob" O'Connell and was a regular to the weekly poker games the Theurgy’s chiefs held in an unused cabin on Deck 08.
An observant and suspicious man, he often speculated about the loyalty and stability of his shipmates. Immediately after the destruction of the USS Calamity and the USS Harbinger Reagar watched over the line of officers and crew who had been compromised by T'Rena and were waiting outside main sickbay to be deprogrammed and speculated on the probable effects multiple mindmelds on Cir'Cie and Maya. At the weekly poker game the next day, Reagar was cautious when introduced to Aisha S'Iti but shared his suspicions about the officers in his chain of command, particularly Wenn Cinn.
After the mission to Black Opal Outpost, Cal Reagar escorted Nathaniel Isley to main sickbay when the pilot was detained on suspicion of killing Skye Carver.
Calvin Reagar collaborated with O'Connell during the creation of the Subspace Armor Field Tactical Integration(SAFTI) gear, a personal protection system that used subspace harmonics to generate a personal force field around the wearer. He assisted O'Connell in assembling the first functioning SAFTI units by hand; together they built over twenty units in time for the mission to Starbase 84.
During the raid on Starbase 84, Reagar was assigned to Boarding Team Alpha, accompanying Wenn Cinn and Selena Ravenholm in their attempt to take control of the station’s subspace emitter array in order to spread the truth about the alien conspiracy that had taken over Starfleet Command.
Chief Petty Officer Amlas Keyah
Chief Petty Officer Amlas Keyah was a Bollian security chief serving aboard the Theurgy in 2381. Prior to being assigned to the Theurgy, she had studied for the chief’s exam at Starbase 74, where the security department still talk about the day a team of Bynars hijacked the Enterprise back in Stardate 41365.9. Her reflexes were reported to be lightning quick and she had seen action on Betazed during the Dominion War. William O'Connell described her as the deadliest security specialist from Bolarus IX who peed sitting down.
In March of 2381 CPO Keyah was part of the team that beamed into Starbase 84’s reactor room in order to take over the station.
Petty Officer Liam Andersson
Petty Officer Liam Andersson was a security specialist aboard the USS Harbinger when it encountered the Theurgy in 2381. It is unknown if he was related to Operations Officer Patrick Andersson who was serving aboard the USS_Theurgy the same year. He and Petty Officer Elliot Grant were victims of Commander T'Rena’s mental tampering and programmed to impregnate any female aboard the Harbinger. On the day Captain Vasser staged his coup of both the Theurgy Petty Officers Andersson and Grant attempted to rape the Harbinger’s chief medical officer Doctor Amelya Duv in her own sickbay, but she managed to get a phaser away from Elliot and incapacitate both of them. Later Andersson and Elliot Grant confronted Duv and ThanIda zh'Wann, on Deck One with orders to shoot to kill, but they chose to impregnate the two women instead. Zh'Wann managed to physically overpower him and stunned him with his own phaser rifle for good measure. It is likely Liam Andersson was killed along with the rest of the crew when the Harbinger collided with the Calamity.
Petty Officer Bradford
Petty Officer Bradford was a security specialist serving aboard Starbase 84 when the USS Resolve arrived. While investigating an explosion at Starbase 84's Subspace Acquisition Grid, he stunned and arrested Ensign A’vura Zeshryr who had chased a Romulan saboteur and had witnessed his death. Bradford had bad experiences with Orions in the past and was fixated with the idea that Ensign Zeshryr was an Orion spy. When it became obvious that he had falsely arrested a Starfleet officer, he made plans to manufacture evidence against her, but was rendered unconscious when Zeshryr and a Romulan mercenary named Drauc T'Laus were rescued by her shipmates Captain Tristan Kendrick and Lieutenant Keval ch'Rayya.
Petty Officer Elliot Grant
Petty Officer Elliot Grant was a security specialist aboard the USS Harbinger when it encountered the Theurgy in 2381. He and Petty Officer Liam Andersson were victims of Commander T'Rena’s mental tampering and programmed to impregnate any female aboard the Harbinger. On the day Captain Vasser staged his coup of both the Theurgy Andersson and Grant attempted to rape the Harbinger’s chief medical officer Doctor Amelya Duv in her own sickbay. While she was orally pleasuring him, Duv managed to injure Grant and shoot him with his own phaser. Later Grant and Liam Andersson confronted Duv and ThanIda zh'Wann, on Deck One with orders to shoot to kill, but they chose to impregnate the two women instead. Duv resisted by overdosing Grant with a hypospray, not caring what the dose was or even what she was injecting him with. If Grant wasn’t killed by Duv, it is likely he died along with the rest of the crew when the Harbinger collided with the Calamity.
Petty Officer First Class Peter Hildebrandt
Petty Officer First Class Peter Hildebrandt was a security specialist serving aboard the USS Harbinger when it encountered the Theurgy in 2381. He had played cards with Christopher Slayton before his loyalties and ethics were psychically modified by T’Rena. When ThanIda zh'Wann, Amelya Duv and Christopher Slayton made their escape from the Harbinger’s brig and made their way to the bridge he was part of a four man security team that confronted them on the Akira-class’ Deck Seven. He managed to avoid getting shot by their initial attack by falling back but soon found himself alone. He attempted to use a stun grenade against the trio but was critically injured by a phaser set on overload thrown his way by Chris Slayton. The explosion cost him a leg despite Jacques Hebert’s best efforts to save it.
When the Harbinger was destroyed he was evacuated into an escape pod and landed on planet Aeron-2514. He was later rescued by Natalie Stark, ThanIda_zh'Wann, Aisha_S'Iti, and Doctor Maya who had taken the USS Allegiant on a Search And Rescue mission to recover the Harbinger’s survivors. Delirious and disoriented from his injuries, Hildebrandt seized a scalpel when he first saw Maya, but was rendered unconscious by a Vulcan nerve pinch before he could do himself or anyone else any harm. He remained aboard the Allegiant for the rest of the search and rescue mission and was deprogrammed by Maya before he was brought aboard the Theurgy to recover and await the construction of a biosynthetic leg to replace the one he lost.
Petty Officer First Class Jean Paul Rivard
Petty Officer First Class Jean Paul Rivard was a security specialist who served aboard the USS Theurgy.
He was a member of Commander Carrigan Trent’s boarding party during the supply raid on Black Opal in March of 2381. Rivard restrained the station’s executive officer, Lieutenant Masuda Yukimura. Trent prevented him from using excessive force on a resisting Black Opal crewmember and used that opportunity to make it clear that prisoners would be treated humanely.
Rivard was part of the team that beamed into Starbase 84’s reactor room in order to take over the station.
Crewman Cabrera
Crewman Cabrera was a security specialist serving aboard the USS Theurgy and participated in the supply raid during the supply raid on Black Opal in March of 2381. Cabrera helped secure the command centre of the outpost and tossed Commander Carrigan Trent the handcuffs the Theurgy’s executive officer used to restrain Ensign Edgar Rogers.
