Starbase 718

Starbase-718 was a Federation starbase administered by Starfleet. The base was located in orbit of Beta Ciradanis II, a Class 6 ‘Ice Giant’ in orbit of the dim Beta Ceridanus brown-dwarf star. It consisted of a Regula series of space station. In the late 2360s it was under the command of Alyssa Sternberg, and in 2367 the crew of Starbase-718 were involved in the investigation of holographic technology that had been recovered from Alpha Onias III by the mother of a young alien boy, named Barash.
