USS Hood

The Hood fought in several engagements during the Dominion War. In early 2374, it was part of the task force that participated in Operation Return, the attempt to retake Deep Space 9. (DS9: "Favor the Bold", "Sacrifice of Angels")
In late 2374, the Hood participated in the First Battle of Chin'toka, traveling in close formation with the USS Defiant. (DS9: "Tears of the Prophets")
Petty Officer Kenneth Urban served aboard the Hood during the Dominion War where he manned the torpedo room. After the war he was promoted and transferred to the USS Enterprise-E.
In 2374, a Bajoran/Vulcan hybrid named Cross who was born in a Cardassian Prison Camp graduated from Starfleet Academy and was assigned to the Hood as a junior security officer in time for Operation Return. He remained aboard the Hood until 2376 when he was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade and transferred to the USS Harbinger.
In 2379, the Hood was part of Starfleet Battle Group Omega, a group of starships assigned to Sector 1045 near the Romulan Neutral Zone to intercept the Scimitar. (Star Trek Nemesis)
