ADVENT OF WAR OOC THREAD
>> Click For Full Resolution (https://uss-theurgy.com/w/images/d/d9/PDF-S2E1-Advent-of-War.png)
Hi there everyone! Upon popular request, here is a dedicated OOC thread for writing ads and requests, allowing you all to plan supplemental threads. In this thread, you post your ideas for your characters and enlist other writers in partaking in the events. You can also post open requests, simply asking it anyone care to write something (specific or general) in Episode 01: Advent of War (https://uss-theurgy.com/forum/index.php/board,26.0.html).
So, please go ahead and post your brainstorming or requests here! :)
Best,
Auctor Lucan
PS. As for who goes and doesn't go on the
Allegiant will be addressed in about a week or so, where recruitment for the mission opens.
ALLEGIANT MISSION
Please post here if you are interested in having either of your characters aboard the Allegiant under Commander Dewitt's command, or if you want your fighter pilot following along on the ride. :)
Depending on interest and the position/role your character has, this request will be granted by the time Chapter 2 is posted, which will be in about 14 days. The Allegiant's crew complement will be posted at that time.
EDIT:
I realised I might have added too little info here in regard to how long your characters will be away from the Theurgy, and I think it will be 2 Chapters. This means that Chapter 02 for those on the Allegiant will be spent on the scoutship and the Erudite, along with Chapter 03, which will be set at a point between Aldea and the Klingon Homeworld - the Theurgy dropping out of slipstream - and events pertaining to the cooldown at that point. Those on the Allegiant will be returning to the Theurgy at the start of Chapter 04.
Vague, I know, but it's the best I can offer since a lot is depending on what actions your collective characters take between now and then! :)
Best,
Auctor Lucan
Alright, I'll be first. I have two characters that I am willing to send aboard the Allegiant. I am happy if either of them, both of them, or none of them are chosen. Surprise me.
Option 01: Petty Officer Third Class Lorad (https://uss-theurgy.com/w/index.php?title=Lorad)
A recent recruit to the Theurgy, Lorad's background with the Reman and Romulan armed forces offers a unique insight into dealing with situations. His physical presence could prove quite useful if you can keep his identity concealed. And as a Reman, he might know a thing or two about Thalorn radiation. Maybe. He was a grunt after all.
Option 02: Lieutenant Junior Grade Donna 'Chance' Petterson (https://uss-theurgy.com/w/index.php?title=Donna_Petterson,_callsign_%22Chance%22)
A former covert operative with Starfleet Intelligence, she served under Admiral Anderson for several years before her 'retirement'. Reactivated after the battle of Starbase 84, her mission to establish contact between Anderson and the Theurgy proved highly successful. She has the skills and experience to work undercover, the willingness to do distasteful things for the greater good and the connections to disappear if a mission goes sideways.
And she is a trained fighter pilot to boot. (laugh)
To be honest Samantha would go/stay on whichever ship Captain Ives thinks more diplomatic expertise is needed.
Ok I’ve thought about it and to be honest I’m still not completely sure but I would send Taa’gur (https://uss-theurgy.com/w/index.php?title=Taa%27gur_Kolla) to the Allegiant, since I’m pretty convinced that a Weapon Technician could come in useful there. At least he would probably be more useful there then aboard the Theurgy during that time. Well I think he would be more useful while getting deployed aboard the ship that’s going to face more firefights during those chapters.
As the Allegiant's designated pilot Jaya will be there :P
Hi all,
I have an idea for a thread that any or all could participate in. It would start just before yellow alert is called and Theurgy reintegrates. Its location would be on the outer hull of one of the Vectors (clear of any mooring points. Not looking to be squished here.)
Security characters could be testing their new suits while other departments could be in standard Zero-G suits. We could call it a training course, or certification run, or just exercise.
I foresee 1-2 posts per writer. 1 to set the scene and the second to react to Yellow alert being called and the ship coming together.
I'm not sure how to @everyone on here but I will put this message in the Discord as well.
So yeah, let me know.

On the Allegiant, if you're still looking for volunteers AL I'm happy to send Avi :)
Zaryn will go on the Allegiant
As will Valkra. I meant to post this a few days ago, but am an idiot.
Is there a list of who is going on the
Allegiant @Auctor Lucan ?
Not yet, nope! Commander Dewitt will be the CO of the Allegiant, though, and you have the replies above. BZ also mentioned in Voice Chat that Eun Sae Ji will be coming along.
Best,
Auctor Lucan
Ji will go
Speaking with Blue, It’s decided it’d make sense for Frank to go aboard the Allegiant to function as a C.Engineer, due to the needs for the propulsion expertise on the Theurgy.
Zark is ready to volunteer as the medic for the mission
Hi fellow Theurgists
Would anyone be interested in writing a thread or two during AoW? Below are my Characters and what they are doing.
Lorad - Departed on the
Allegiant. Remained aboard at the Breen Homeworld.
Donna Petterson - Departed with the
Allegiant. Travelled with the
Erudite to Andoria.
Mickayla MacGregor - Remained aboard the
Theurgy. Departed on the USS
Sabine.
Samala - Remained aboard the
Theurgy. Departed on the Apache right before the Battle of the Houses.
T'Less - Departed on the
Allegiant. Remained aboard at the Breen Homeworld.
I also have random encounters with
@Griff x1,
@Auctor Lucan x2,
@trevorvw x1,
@uytrereee x1,
@BZ x1 if any of you might be interested in writing them.
Otherwise, yeah, let me know if anyone is interested.

@Brutus In Praxis Crucible (https://uss-theurgy.com/forum/index.php/topic,3169.msg32382.html#msg32382) you are speaking about the
Allegiant Mission. Is this to the Moon or to rescue Fisher?
Because if it is to the Moon, I don't mind having T'Less go along.
Moon mission it is! T'Less noted! :)
CALL FOR CREW ON THE AWAY TEAM TO PRAXIS!

As
@Brutus already mentioned in Praxis Crucible (https://uss-theurgy.com/forum/index.php/topic,3169.0.html), we need characters for the mission to Praxis!
Read the thread and post here is you want a character on the away team to investigate what the Infested have planned on Praxis in this dire hour of the Episode's grande finale! So far, we have:
- T'Less, Tactical
- ThanIda zh'Wann, Security
- Frank Arnold, Engineering
Looking forward to more, and PM me if you have any questions, but read the thread first since many answers are likely there. :)
I will be posting soon, and the more names I have, the less ambivalent I have to be in regard to whom are on the
Allegiant.
Best,
Auctor Lucan
I'd like to offer Elro Kobol for Medical stuff or anything he can assist with that could be related to his interests for Praxis stuff.
I volunteer Sithick for various reasons..... Tech expertise.... (Klingon tech specialist)..... sheer intimidation factor.... etc.
I'd love to have Scruffy involved in this mission, if there's room for multiple Engineers. Otherwise, I'm happy to lend technical/theoretical perspective regarding the Praxis sabotage
I know I'm late to the party, but if you need more crew for the Allegiant then I can offer up Isel to help out like she did on the previous mission.
