The year is 2381. They have been betrayed. Outlawed and alienated by Starfleet Command. Yet in times of war and uncertainty, the persecuted must endure. Ready to answer the urgent call for truth, justice and freedom. They are that crew.
After returning to base in San Francisco after a long diplomatic mission to Romulus, it was due to pure happenstance that the crew of the USS Theurgy managed to pick up transmissions that detailed a horrifying change to Starfleet Command. The senior positions of Starfleet Command - Starfleet's operational authority - included the Commander in Chief, the Chief of Staff and the Chief of Starfleet Operations. The USS Theurgy was hunted by their former collective fleet - the pursuers merely following orders and whatever fabricated truth Command had given them. The Theurgy escaped after an enduring two months gruesome chase through the Alpha Quadrant. Yet the truth be their witness, they would restore Starfleet to the Federation and the President, and enlighten their fellow brothers and sisters in the fleet about the immediate danger they unknowingly were in by carrying out the orders of Starfleet Command. Yet the Theurgy also had to protect the truth they carried at all cost...

- Browsing with Image Modal - 14 May
- I've added a lightweight image modal to all static EAS pages. You can now browse images in a clean overlay and navigate with mouse clicks, keyboard arrows or swipe gestures. And if you like things the old-fashioned way, CTRL-click still opens the plain URL in a new tab. It's intentional that the...
- Updated Reviews of VOY: "Renaissance Man" and "Endgame" - 10 May
- I conclude my Voyager reviews with the playful but somewhat shallow "Renaissance Man" and the ambitious series finale "Endgame", which works better for me today than it did 25 years ago.#cdata_escape_encode#

- Updated Reviews of VOY: "Natural Law" and "Homestead" - 01 May
- Approaching the series finale. Here are the retro reviews of VOY: "Natural Law" and "Homestead" - one a fairly routine episode but with an interesting Prime Directive variation, the other a fitting and emotional farewell to Neelix despite some doubts.#cdata_escape_encode#

- Updated Reviews of VOY: "Author, Author" and "Friendship One" - 25 April
- New Voyager retro reviews are up: "Author, Author" and "Friendship One". The Doctor comes off as vain and insensitive, and the story still reframes him as the victim, while the second episode wastes a strong premise on a routine hostage plot and avoids its own key questions.#cdata_escape_encode#
- EAE Award for TNG-Picard.com - 19 April
- I'm pleased to announce that TNG-Picard.com is a recipient of the EAE Award: a remarkable archive that shows a vast collection of screen-used costumes, props and models from TNG and Picard, built on a lifelong passion.#cdata_escape_encode#
- Updated Reviews of VOY: "Human Error" and "Q2" - 17 April
- Two more Voyager retro reviews: "Human Error" and "Q2". Recycled ideas and unrewarding outcomes hold both episodes back, from Seven's stalled development to Q Junior's predictable character test.#cdata_escape_encode#
