This is dedicated to a writer who mines Stark Trek canon for technical or cultural details, or built an species that truly stand out in originality. To read posts from this writer is to feel as if one is walking in the shoes of a real person in the Star Trek universe. Details should have long-lasting effects on the
Theurgy story as a whole.
The poll will run for 7 days, in which those who cast their vote should take a few minutes to read the linked scenes first. The nominee(s) who get the most votes will receive the Researcher's Medal. If you are a Nominee, you may
not vote on yourself, but you are free to vote on your fellow competitors.
Here are the nominations!
1. STRIKER N7, FOR ATTENTION TO TREK LORE
Nominee: @Striker N7 Primary Reason: The characters of Leon Marquez &, James Mariner, for their undying attention to lore, canon details and history.
Motivation & Links (same as Nomination 2): These two folks have repeatedly demonstrated their dedication to Star Trek lore and canon information to such meticulous detail I sometimes get lost. Or rather, I should say, I cannot tell when they are no longer using canon lore from additional fiction. Such is their depth of knowledge with the lore, and it's quite inspirational as it provides us with knowledge on the canon, and encourages us to learn to do the same.
Well the other thing I noted was their originality and how they worked it within the confines of Trek lore, such as TrexelCat's E.V.E., which while very unique and original, was also very accurate to canon details concerning artificial life forms or holograms with their own intelligence or even self-awareness. And with StrikerN7, he has a good recollection of information that was pertinent to the
Enterprise series and Deep Space 9, in relation the the Eagle Project, which he has his characters often referencing.

3. HASTATA-NERADA, FOR THE KATAAN SPECIES
Nominee: @Hastata-Nerada Primary Reason: For their submissions of species to the sim database
Motivation and Links: We have a several non-cannon and canon species in our database, and a lot of them is really well wrought in terms of detail and level of scientific description. I could nominate a lot more, but these very thoroughly described. These contributions to the sim really elevates the storytelling and when reading the posts of characters belonging to these species, they stay true to what they are. As I said, many more could be nominated for their species write-ups, but there will be other times this award is opened for nominations, so I chose to put these in the first batch. Thank you for the time you put into these!

8. TOPHAT, FOR TECHNICAL BADASSERY
Nominee: @Top Hat Primary Reason: Technical Badass :)
Motivation from Blue Zephyr: I find that when I read the posts given out by TopHat that he really has a good grip on the whole Trek world. I have often gone to him with a question about how something works, or something that I'm confused about, and he is really good at helping me understand it. I love the way that his posts are always full of the world of technology that we live in and just how much it effects us all. I like the way that he gives you this 'bigger world' feel when it comes to his understanding of the Trek universe and all that it holds within it.
