Registration Agreement

Star Trek: Theurgy is kind of a progressive novel, composed of long-lasting story arcs that can go on through several Episodes, as well as the more common sub-plots produced by character interaction. All of this is written cohesively by the writers, edited and corrected by the group and the GM to assure a consolidated storyline. All content submitted can only be removed by the GM in order to preserve story continuity, and you may only register with a non-proxy IP to ensure that you don't register twice. IP registrations using a proxy (like a Cloud Provider or VPN etc.) will be rejected without further notice.

Upon registration, you agree to abide by our General Rules, which can be found HERE as well as the Discord Server's Chat Rules, which will be made available when you are no longer an Applicant. Moreover, you may only create one account. Writers found to have multiple accounts will be banned.

To register, you must be 18 years or older. If we find anyone who is younger than that, it will result in an immediate ban in the interests of protecting minors. Upon registration, you verify that you are of age, and at the discretion of the GM, an age verification process will be conducted if there is cause for doubt to your claim. For more information on age restriction, again, read our General Rules.

Furthermore, Star Trek: Theurgy promotes socially progressive views, including all sexualities, identities, male/female/trans artistic nudity, equality of opportunity, civil rights, and multiculturalism. The community is welcoming towards the full spectrum of political or religious views, as long as controversial topics of discussion are allocated to their proper place on the forum and not the Discord server. If you have a problem with this, then you should not register.

You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. Keep the name appropriate and not the same as your first character to avoid confusion between In-Character and Out-of-Character. To prevent account theft, it is recommended you use a complex and unique password for your account. Also note that the forum software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is only used to keep you logged in/out. The forum software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.

Next, you should visit our Joining Page so that you may begin your joining process. Make sure to read it carefully before you start working on a character concept. As an Applicant, until you've completed the application process, you will have limited access to the forum.

Welcome to Star Trek: Theurgy!
